Breakast was nothing special and was disappointed at the selections. There were no cooks making fresh custom omelets or eggs and the sausage was the worse . The potatoes were cold. No fruit except for tiny apples. Needless to say not a high light of the stay and will try other hotels in the area to see if they do better. Need a computer and found you have no business center. Location was the best aspect with amenities nearby and a shopping center/restaurants across the street and being lose to other retail and restaurants. Liked being close to a freeeway.

Spend more on help preparing hot and custom breakfasts and less need for all the housekeeping staff as much as you had. I suggets a revamp of menus. Ate breakst 2 out of 3 days there and only lacking last one as had to leave very early for the airport on the third morning.

The room was very clean. I liked the different types of pillows to choose from- I liked the mobile tv tray to eat or drink on in the lounge/desk area. I really enjoyed the breakfast a lot-The selection was great, the food tasted great.The area was kept very clean & orderly. The Little Western omelettes, sausage pattie’s & Rosemary potatoes were perfectly seasoned & hot. The make ur own waffles were fun & perfect. I loved the Cinnamon syrup offered. I never saw that before! It was like the Cinnamon filling of a Cinnamon bun! Delicious! The warm chocolate chip cookie was tasty. I was very glad to see the Earth-friendly steps taken like recyclable/paper plates & refillable shampoo & other bottles- I wish all hotels were Earth-friendly. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool but it looked nice, with a tall ceiling- The strip mall across the road has some good choices for food- I liked the 24 hr.coffee station. I will be glad to return.

I wish the TV was able to tilt towards both beds more-It was mostly visible to only 1 bed. I didn’t see any recycle bins-I took cans & recyclables home with me-

The facility was extremely clean. The moment we walked in you could smell how clean it was. The room was bigger than expected. The bathroom is set up weird, the full length mirror is in a spot that makes it difficult to take selfies. Not that that is important, just note worthy LOL. Beds were comfortable and the linens smelled clean. Breakfast was stocked full even towards the end of the timeframe & the staff were helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Super close to the Hartford Healthcare Ampitheater, only about 15 mins. A lot of restaurants & stores nearby, CVS directly next door which was great. Very well worth the $$ for the one night we stayed!

The moment you walk into this hotel you're greeted with a smiling face at the front desk. It smells like a high luxury hotel (yes I said smell lol) The breakfast had a lot of options. The breakfast area was very clean and the staff continued to stock throughout breakfast. The entire staff was wonderful to everyone I traveled with. The front desk jumped over hoops to help our entire group stay on the same floor and she was knowledgeable about the area. Amy Colon (front desk) made our entire experience a 10!!! She is one of the reasons we will be booking again.

The only thing I could suggested is larger pillows and 4 towels in a room.

I love my room especially on the 6th floor and everything was brand new. I was not crazy about breakfast didn't like the eggs or sausage The only thing I really had was yogurt and banana the coffee and juice was not good but I've never stayed anywhere where the breakfast was good so this is my real only complaint. My grandson and friend came to visit and use the pool and they had a blast so that was a bonus too. Overall the hotel was very clean.

From the minute you pull in the driveway you can see the building is beautifully maintained.. the rooms are beautiful and the service was excellent.. from the front desk to the breakfast ladies .. everyone was very nice and the breakfast is excellent.. we had are dogs with us so the room location was on the first floor near the exit.. worked perfectly.. I would stay here again for sure

There’s nothing I dislike

Location to Stratford and Fairfield was good Bed quite comfortable.

The bathroom was an odd layout with two doors side by side to enter. Also, be aware they will charge your credit card with a hold of $100 a day per your stay. This is only a hold and will be released when you checkout. But still, if your card is tight, this could cause you an issue. The room needs better lighting and one switch next to bed to turn all on or off.

This hotel is amazingly clean. Everything seems spotless and you can tell they really try. Breakfast was a standard hot meal with a few things but better than continental. There was a pool but I didn't swim. Check out had to be the fastest ever.

Cost is a tad high but that seems normal for the area as I did shop around. I won't reduce my overall rating because of this. That's it. Everything else is great.

Amy, who worked the front desk, is extremely with-it! She paid close attention to the needs of everyone coming and going! Amy is a warm, welcoming, kind and attentive professional. She was very helpful to me and to my daughter. She is an asset to Hampton by Hilton. Shelton and deserves recognition for going above and beyond for guests.

The room could have been cleaner. There were crumbs and debris under the ottomans that could have been easily discovered and vacuumed up. There was dust on shelves and furnishings that could have easily been dusted away. There were piles of "dust bunnies" under the ac unit in the room, (only noticed when I picked up my shoes from the floor) These are easy "fixes" The room was otherwise very nice and very comfy.

Beyond my expectations the place was very clean the employees are very compassionate caring and professional the indoor pool and water slide was wonderful the water was at a perfect room temperature the room was very spacious I like the fact that there are a lot of mirrors in the bathroom in the room and the elevators the hallways I had a wonderful experience hope to be there again

There was a tear in the curtain in the window and the fact that I couldn't stay longer
