Location and views were great

After check out I received a charge on my credit card. When I called to ask about the charges they said it was for parking, beer, and juice. We paid for parking the first night we were there. And every time we bought drinks (soda) from downstairs we paid for it right then rather than charging it to the card. The lady working on the phone was arguing with me about the purchases. And asked if I had someone else stay in my room. My boyfriend was staying in the room but we were always together. We didn’t buy beer or juice. 3 days later they refunded me finally. After I called a few times and promised I would get a call back.

99% of my stay. The view was gorgeous, the walk to the concert Pavilion was beautiful and short. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

They don't tell you ahead of time that you have to pay $15 per night to park. Free parking is NOT included in your stay. I've never stayed at a hotel that charged extra for parking.

The rooms are quite nice, with a beautiful view of the river. It was the second time I stayed at this place and both times I was lucky enough to see an amazing sunset right from my room window. The location is quite convenient, right next to the boardwalk and downtown. Staff are super nice, parking is reasonably priced and convenient. Breakfast was included and good.

Location, convenience, pet friendly, great view

Very very weak wifi made phone use difficult, daily pet fee where even in NYC it's a single fee no matter length of stay, housekeeping by request only made it difficult and had to take towels to reception for exchange

The location was perfect to be able to walk to Live Oak music venue. Customer service was excellent too! Breakfast was a nice added bonus.

It is an older hotel, so it does have a bit of an old ‘scent’ to the room. Not unbearable and wasn’t a deal breaker. I’d stay here again. But there was no microwave in the room. Again. Not a deal break, just something we could have utilized.

The breakfast was good - quick and easy. The beds were very firm. Not my favorite but may be for some. The staff was very very friendly and helpful.

Everyone was super friendly! The location is perfect on the Riverwalk of the Cape Fear River! Plenty of towels & toiletries! The breakfast was perfect every morning!

I saw an elevated wooden walkway with an overlook of the river & was hoping to enjoy the sunset from there, but it was unfortunately blocked off... that was a bit of a bummer, but would definitely stay here again!

The location was amazing! We stayed for the 4th of July and could see the fireworks from our room.

Passing $15 to park and that out didn’t have a pool.

Everything went well, staffs were great, breakfast was awesome and the location is prompt. The room is very spacious, specially lots of pillows.

Nothing that I didn't like

The view of the river canal and historic downtown Wilmington location is nice. Excellent value for what you pay. This hotel is in walking distance to most everything.

The rooms were small and just felt a little cramped. The hotel felt "dated" but I didn't come to stay in the hotel all day so it certainly met my needs.
