The location is great a Wal-Mart and a Walgreens right across the street as well as a small shopping center with a CBD shop and daquiris to go and last but not least Denny's just a few feet out the hotel room door.

The pool is not open and doesn't seem it will open either

The staff is outstanding. Everyone that works here has been nothing short of helpful and kind. Any issues I had or questions were resolved instantly and I didn't feel like I was being a pest to them when I had any questions.

Close to business that I had appointment at the next day. Had very comfortable bed. River Smiths Restaurant nearby Catfish and Chiken bites were great.

Little noisy early on kids above my room and barking dog next door but after dark it got quite.

The whole thing the Mandela hotel was great treating me like I was a friend food was good wanted to clean his rooms I've seen in a hotel and every time I'm in love with I would love to get a room now

There is nothing I didn't like I liked everything great hotel

the front desk worker on Friday afternoon was amazing, gave us a full refund for this “hotel.”

absolutely disgusting. holes in the wall, bathroom dirty, holes in the furniture

Bed was very comfortable and no bugs.

No towels. No phone in room so you have to walk all the way to the front to get any help. (And no one answered when I used my cell phone)

Loved the breakfast, the room was great and the staff.

The water from the shower was too hot weven lowered towards the cold side

It was very clean and spacious. I had a room on the inside of the hotel.

The facilities were actually much cleaner and more updated then I had originally expected. Not to mention the Maintenance man was really thorough and attentive.

The pool was closed. I assume due to covid, which with it being the end of July in Texas would have been a really nice option to have. Especially for traveling families with kids looking for something to do, does make it a little inconvient..
