Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and FB team very friendly and helpful, the omelet is very tasty

Some constructive feedback and not complaint as the hotel in overall is very good and I would love o visit again. The receptionist needs more training, however, her manager made it right. The room was too cold and couldn’t be controlled more than 22 and couldn’t keep it off in such this cold weather,, lobby was cold, the pool temperature 26 degC which is not ideal temperature to swimming. There’s an opportunity of energy saving from AC in overall, and increasing the pool temperature to ideal temperature not less than 29 degC The shower pressure is very low due to the ordinary water saver that used, there are many way of water saving without compromising with guest satisfaction.

The hotel is the highest up the mountain, and has amazing panorama views. Whilst it is an old hotel, it is very clean. The pool was pristine, and the bed comfortable. Great value for money for a mid-week escape, and the cool mountain air makes it worth the drive up. Staff were very nice and professional. The "golf view" room still had an amazing vista.

They need to do a little maintenance on the waterslides as my back was sore from going over the joints of each section. The breakfast could be a lot better (variety and quality), but to be fair they were very receptive to feedback and remedying this when I raised it. The TV didn't work, and the lighting in the room could have been more dynamic (a bright light on your face seems non optional). Also, brace yourself if you have a fear of heights, as the lobby is all open plan, and barriers don't go floor to ceiling...

The check-in staff person, whose name I have unfortunately forgotten, was extremely helpful - providing me with a room optimized to viewing the area where Arabian Tahr are usually seen. The room was large and very comfortable, with all necessary facilities.

For a hotel in such a beautiful setting, it is a shame it spoils that setting with excessive and late noise and light... why not emphasize the values of the area, rather than fight them? Likewise, I cannot understand why the property is kept clean, but plentiful litter from the property is ignored as soon as it is over the fence - this is a real shame for such an otherwise beautiful area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good but needs more variety, such as adding Labneh and olives. However, my family enjoyed the breakfast there. The facilities are brilliant as a 4-star hotel. They have squash and Golf courts, besides other very interesting sports facilities. The location is fantastic during the summer. In the evening, you can sit at the outdoor cafes where there is a nice wind coming through (Don't go in the winter because you can't sit outside).

The water in the children's water park is cold, so there is no way my son can play there. Also, there are no rules in the swimming pool about the swimming clothes. Some customers swim with their clothes!!!

1. The location is a perfect place for a long drive and being away from the city. You don't need SUV or big cars to travel up the mountain because the road is well enough. 2. All of the staffs are polite and accommodating. When we need of something you don't need to wait for a long period. 3. Our room is perfect. Neat and clean. With balcony overlooking the mountains. 4. Food also is perfect and money wise. 5. They serve also alcohol in the evening and at the pool though it's ramadan that is why not available for a meantime.

1. Toiletries are not all available so better to bring your personal stuffs with you. But they can provide immediately if you ask. 2. The rooms were divided by odd and even numbers. So make sure to read the signs first before going.

Location, Kids activities such as slides in pool, mini golf and paid court yard for games. Breakfast for good with nice options. View was stunning from the top with cool breeze in the night making it perfect place for weekend gateway. It kept the kids busy with activities during the stay. Love the Al khayam place for sheesha. Quality, Taste and price for food is good.

Mini Golf area was not cleaned, left with old mattress, rubbish, etc. Golf carpet is damaged, access to rock was closed.

Excellent, unique location and views. Amazing entrance, lobby and dining room. Good facilities at swimming pool. etc. Comfortable room, with an original interior.

Since I know how the hotel originally was (I stayed here in 2006) I felt sorry that all these beautiful hanging plants had been removed during the Covid-period. Also, I noted that the maintenance could be more careful; holes in the shadow curtains, a defect at one of the wall outlets, and others signs of wear. It would be a pity if the original beauty of this place would be eroding further. Mercure as the new owner should take care to become a better steward for this building. It deserves more respect, than it is now receiving.

The main reason why anyone should choose this hotel is their location. It is simply amazing, the view is so good. We were lucky to witness the fireworks from the hotel which was undoubtedly the best fireworks experience I have ever had so 10/10 for that. The Breakfast was also very nice, plenty of options were there. Their pool was not temperature-controlled but overall, it was very nice. The pool slide was also perfect, we took it at least 10 times...:)

You have to be careful about the time when you arrive at the hotel, on busy days, they might close the road going towards the mountain peak. Quite a few people got stuck and could not move due to road closures. We ordered Pizza and Sandwiches, The pizza wasn't that great either. The overall feel of the hotel is of an old place, the bathroom flush is just the worst.

Size of the room, pool size, water slides were good. Enjoyed the stay, it was expensive due to the holidays. Very limited options if you miss the breakfast or lunch hours. No other shops around. No delivery of meals available due to remote location. Water slides were very good. Kept the water cold while the temp was very hot outside.

More food options, allowed takeaways. More indian food options missing. Nothing special for food for kids. More kids indoor activities are recommended.

The views are wonderful. The staff are very friendly. It's an old hotel, but still comfortable. The pool is great for the kids. The restaurants are good and the food is reasonable priced. A little noisy due to all the families so if you want a romantic getaway, then perhaps ask to be tucked into a corner room.

The doors to the rooms have no brackets so they slam shut when left to close on their own. All through the night you can hear doors slamming as guests return to their rooms. It's a simple fix by the hotel, and would help limit the noise improving guests stay.
