We didn’t have breakfast:)

My only suggestion would be to have coffee available in the morning no later than 8:00, preferably 7:00(not just the kind in the room). So many of us are early risers and enjoying leisurely coffee really adds to a wonderful vacation. Everything else is perfect. I realize this might be difficult to manage from a staffing angle, but I’m just giving a suggestion☺️

The hotel is very cute right in downtown Stratford with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. There is also a restaurant right at the bottom of the hotel, the check-in is in the restaurant. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was large. It was nice that the sink and toilet were separated. Lots of towels and bathroom amenities. Coffee and tea were provided in the room with a small kettle and espresso machine.

Initially when I stepped into the room it had an odd sweaty smell odour but that did go away. The light in the bathroom with the toilet and shower was dim and could be replaced. As well there were dead bugs inside the light fixture above the sink. The toilet should be looked at to be upgraded to chair height. There could have been an overhead light or another light in the main room - only two lamps and the bulbs weren't very bright, especially the one on the bedside table - made it hard to read. The mugs provided for coffee and tea were really small - for espresso so additional larger mugs would have been appreciated.

This location was great and convenient for sightseeing and wandering the town. Conveniently located near many restaurants. The room was clean and spacious with a super comfy bed.

City view was ok but noise when the pubs let out was kind of annoying. Stairs were a definite bummer. I had hoped to have a included breakfast for the price but this was not the case.

The location is excellent. Being on the main street, it wasn't at all noisy. The rooms were clean, bright, and very comfortable.

I wish we were able to have more control over the temperature in the room. The lowest setting was a little warm for us for sleeping. I found the pillows very uncomfortable and woke up with a sore neck.

it was beautiful inside and out. loved the decor and the colours chosen. the fireplace was a nice touch. I like that there was a restaurant right downstairs so we didn’t have to go far

it’s an old building so it’s not very quiet/soundproof. you can hear the kitchen downstairs, music, walking around (I’m positive this would be different on the top floor) etc. I also didn’t like that we were there for one night and there were room service dishes sitting outside the other rooms for the whole 24 hours we were there.

Great location in town, very clean room; coffee and tea in the room - very much appreciated!

The dresser in the room is completely unnecessary - it would be much better if the TV set was hanging on the wall making more space to move around, or maybe even add an extra armchair. Just a suggestion :)

Breakfast was lovely on Sunday morning and luckily we came down before the rest of the city arrived. It was standing room only by the time we departed.

We hoped to be able to dine after the theatre but the restaurant was taken over by a private event and so want available.

Breakfast was sooo delicious, my sons was soo amazed with the breakfast platter , esp, bacon , they said it was soo delicious, Excellent 👍👍👍👍the place was perfect , clean , and a friendly neighbourhood,, I’m coming back there next tym,, the only thing is we came for a long weekend it’s a holiday and most is closed for the holiday

I do like all about Stratford

Location: amazing, right on the main drag! Staff: lovely, helpful Room: heritage building, high ceilings, two big windows, comfy, fireplace on tv was fabulous touch (no smoke, no sparks, no mess, just great lighting and sound!) Food/Bevvies: right downstairs, or a few places right outside the front door

Parking: can be a little dangerous with wet snow / ice; have to walk down a slight incline from back door to car, the area wasn't cleared when we were there, which was during a snow fall

Mercer Inn is conveniently located downtown amidst all the stores and restaurants. They have their own parking in behind which was great. A boutique hotel with a quaint check-in desk in the restaurant. Our room had a view of the Avon river and we had a jacuzzi and fireplace. The king size bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the noise level was pretty good. Nespresso machine was a nice touch.

Employees take up the parking spots but management had them moved and took our luggage up to our rooms for us. All resolved.
