Absolutely loved the public bath on the rooftop. It was so refreshing to have part of it outside and an actual ice cold bath. Cute to have the peepholes with shutters so you could look outside while no one could look inside. The inside bath made my skin supersmooth. Nice dry sauna. Cool idea to have shower baskets with shampoo and conditioner for specific hairtypes to choose from. There was also a magnificent massage chair 👌 the extras like ice cream and free ramen were also appreciated. Loved how they decorated it with traditional Aomori Nebuta made by a local famous artist. They had tourist information on their tv which was really helpful. Room was small but everything was there, even space to hang your clothes to dry after washing them for free. Breakfast was abundant and well taken care of with a lot of diversity. Staff were all very helpful and kind. The apple juice was delicious ❤️ This hotel is worth going to Aomori for!

The locked drawers frustrated me. I have a curious nature and having paid for a room I don’t have full access to is incredibly galling.

Great place, basically brand new. Good sized room for Japan, staff were lovely. Breakfast was good, there is an indoor and an outdoor onsen, free ice cream and Ramen in the evening, as well as free massage chairs and a manga library (Japanese books). Can also borrow umbrellas from the front.

Location is average, it's several blocks away from the station so a bit of an annoying hike with bags, and not convenient to ask them to hold your bags after checkout if you're planning on exploring Aomori afterwards. A bit of a shame because if it was closer to the station it would be literally perfect, but would still stay here again

Loved the hot springs and the nebuta decorations. The location is fantastic also. The free amenities are always appreciated greatly also. I love Dormy inns and frequently stay at them as I completely trust it will be a good stay.

It was very expensive for Dormy inn. I was surprised it had to be that expensive but acknowledge Dormy is always good, so I paid it, but it was quite steep this time

The facility is clean, they provide indoor and outdoor Hot Spring and sauna. It is sufficient restrooms and spacious seating area outside the hot spring area. 3 nos. x massage chairs at the resting area on the hot spring floor. The hotel supply free ice-cream bars, apple juice, coffee and ramen within a specific period. The breakfast is buffet style with many options. Foods are delicious and well presented. The customer service is good. Internet is great.

It’s about 15 mins walking distance from the JR station.

The size of the room was large and not cramped. Breakfast menu selections were diverse. I would definitely return there, the next time I'm visiting Aomori

Many other 'Asian' foreigners, do not adhere to the cultural practices within the country and hotel. Maybe a stronger guest documentation to drive home the point that they are not in there home country; they should be following locals customs and practices.

Firstly I should say the staff were all very kind. The ladies in the dining room were especially so and created a very happy atmosphere. The hot spring baths were very warming on a snowy day, as were the evening ramen bowls. Great breakfast too, with delicious Aomori apple. Very clean and modern hotel.

The rooms are a little small and consequently short of storage space. We didn’t really mind though as the facilities and the staff were great.

The location was excellent and with ink walking distance to the fish market, restaurants and train station. The room was clean and amenities were excellent. The hot spring was very clean. Laundry facilities were a bonus for us. The ramen provided for supper were comforting and so was the apple juice and coffee.

The hot spring does get quite crowded but that’s due to the number of guests staying at the hotel.

The indoor and outdoor onsens were spectacular, plus there was free ice cream, prebiotic drinks,and noodle supper. Coin laundry and dryer were great! Very clean plus the washer is free. This was our best business-type hotel stay during our 2 week stay in Japan. Location was also perfect, walking distance from the train station and numerous attractions s and eateries.

New and clean with thoughtful extras like a welcome snack of mango pudding, bottled water every day, free apple juice and coffee in the lobby, free popsicles and yogurt drinks in the lounge. Fantastic breakfast buffet with Japanese and Western offerings for an additional cost. Onsen was clean and relaxing. Staff was polite but English skills were limited, so download a translation app.

Extremely splendid experience. We did not expect much other than having a clean room per person and a big-and-comfortable public bath (Daiyokujo). On top of that we get free evening soba noodles, free drinks (unlimited apple juice) and free ice after baths, and free massage chair service. The whole place is also beautifully decorated. Not to mention that the room price is extremely low, that the place is at the city center, and close to the train station.
