Having a decent pool w/ ocean view is very rare in Japan. I really enjoyed it. Although would be better if it was less warm. Wine was pretty good too. I also loved that they deliver breakfast to the room. Eating while watching at the ocean is something.

Breakfast had a lot of stuff like yogurt, milk, eggs, sausage, salad, bread, and even soup, but it wasn't tasty. Bread and milk were good tho. Also, felt that 60,000yen for 1 night is bit too much. Sure, service, and view are wonderful, and I have no regret, but I would enjoy it more, if it was less expensive.

The Sustainable Cottage is a supreme entertainer, equipped with lots of card games, board games and even a Karaoke. Yucca (right next door) gives a different vibe - spacious and relaxing. Breakfast was fantastic, with a focus on local Awaji-shima products (milk, onion soup). Having a nice sushi place right next door, was a bonus. Overall a great stay, will remember for a long time.

For those who are renting more than one house (in my case we had two families, one for each home), clearer indication of the distance between the two houses would be helpful.

This is a hip little hotel with a very cool interior design and amazing sunset views, situated in a coastal area with a handful of oceanfront cafes, a sushi restaurant and Garb Costa Orange, a fabulous restaurant/bar – all just a few minutes walk away. I stayed on the second floor and my room was chic with a super spacious shower with all amenities, a soft bed, and a lounge area both inside the room and out on the balcony, which had wonderful views over the ocean. It felt nice and private. There was a little record player, a kettle, a full-size mirror, a fridge and a coffee machine with two coffee capsules provided each day. There's also breakfast each day, brought to your room on a tray at either 8 or 9am, with bread, eggs and local sausage, soup, salad, mandarin juice and yogurt. The hotel facilities include a fantastic sauna – it even has a window overlooking the pool and ocean, and they provide a welcome drink, which you can enjoy in your room or out on the terrace overlooking the sea :)

- Be warned - the walls are PAPER THIN. I wanted to go to sleep at a reasonable hour but unfortunately the loved-up couples next door had other ideas. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep because you can hear it all. Music, conversations, adult hugging. Everything. - There are coffee pods but no milk for coffee. - The green light on the ceiling smoke alarm is super bright and annoying. - The sauna costs 1000 yen per use, IMO it should be included in the room rate.

The whole experience was a delight. The view out of over the inland sea from our room and the balcony, the way breakfast was served in our room in little baskets, the pool and sauna and above all, the calm ambience of the place were great. I have stayed in much grander hotels but have never enjoyed a hotel experience more.

I booked a villa with two bedroom. The bed is very comfortable. It has a private sauna and private parking.

The room slipper, should have a better quality or else the fabric always drop on the carpet.

The atmosphere and staff were amazing. The view and bathtub were very relaxing. Also the drive to and from the restaurant was great. My wife is pregnant so walking is difficult. The food at the restaurant was perfect.

My only point is my wife hurt her leg on the concrete slab, where the sofa is. She has a little cut. Maybe you can put rubber on the edges. But everything was perfect and we loved everything.

Love the modern design and it’s pretty spacious. waking up to sea view is such a bliss 😍 breakfast was sent to room and it was yummy too!

I couldn’t sleep well because the outside was noisy .

Everything else was EXCEPTIONAL. The design of the hotel is incredible, the bed is big and comfortable, the balcony has a beautiful view, breakfast was delicious, room service quick and not crazy expensive. They also have a sauna which is a blessing, we had such a great time!

The fire alarm on the ceiling has a SUPER bright green light and it's located right on top of the bed, so at night it's very much like sleeping with a flashlight on directed in your eyes.
