The hotel is beautifully designed, from the timber everywhere to the plants hanging off the building. Our twin room had nice soft beds and was very stylish and spacious.

There is no TV and no laundry. Given the heatwave a washing machine, which we encountered at many other hotels, would have been a great convenience. The makeup mirror needed new batteries. There was a kettle in the room but no green tea or mugs. No coffee machine in the hotel either. You had to buy one in the hotel cafe at a higher price than the 3 other cafes on the same street. Sometimes I felt this hotel was more about looks than customers needs, form over function.

The breakfast was good. Not a traditional Japanese or western breakfast, but kind of a mix of both. It was filling, and got me through the day. The food was well made s well. I also like the design of the place as well. Minimal but warm. It's important to state as well the the staff was kind and always friendly. It makes me sound like a hippy but, I wish the world could have such manners. One thing I regret is not finding out who made the pajamas/ sleeping garments. I really loved them. All in all It was a very good experience. Free coffee would be great.

A beautifully designed hotel. We loved the greenery and found it a very relaxing place to stay. The staff/owner were lovely to chat with and provided us with good information about the area. Excellent location, close to the station, restaurants, and shrines, but on a quiet street off the main roads which made it peaceful. Also highly recommend the mandarin restaurant across the street! The room was exceptionally quiet. I really liked the natural lavender soaps and the hairdryer was the nicest/best quality I've seen at a hotel! For breakfast, we chose the curry (very filling) and vichyssoise options and enjoyed them both.

We had a wonderful stay. If there was anything to suggest, there could be more places to hang clothes and maybe reading lights over the bed.

This is a very stylish hotel, which would not be out of place in Scandinavia, with polished concrete floors and quality hardwood trimming to doors and windows. Good quality linens and comfortable beds. The staff were all polite and attentive. The hotel is a short walk from the station.

The lighting in the room was very subtle such that there are no bedside lights. In the bathroom there is no light for shaving. The hotel breakfasts were more like lunch and the choice of drink was limited to one (either coffee or orange juice but not both).

The hotel was fine but was spoilt by the rigid imposition of rules and the extremely limited breakfast menu.

The breakfast choice was terrible. Only curry or minestrone soup and salad. You are only allowed one drink with no refills. After the second day of curry we found an excellent bakery around the corner and asked to cancel breakfast for the third day. We were told that we could not have a refund. When we asked if we could have an extra coffee instead of breakfast we were initially refused. When we complained we were allowed a juice. We arrived 12 minutes early and were told that we could not check in until 3pm.

Excellent location, modern yet cozy hotel with green around. Personnel is friendly, professional and speaks very good English. I liked the room I had and immediately felt well in it. The room was in fact cute and had a nice view. Breakfast was fine. I chose the soup and it was very good quality. Very good the idea of the free welcome drink.

In the bathroom there is nothing to hang towels. Only a basket where they are placed. This could be easily solved by adding some hooks. In the room there was a kettle but no tea /coffee and no mug/cup. I found it very strange especially at this price level (I found the hotel pricey but I think it is aligned with Kamakura). Even if they sell tea and coffee downstairs, why not placing tea bags and paper glasses next to the free amenities by the reception?

Finally, it's no longer a Japanese-style plastic bathroom resembling a mold, but instead a tastefully designed Japanese tile bathroom. The cement walls and wooden veneer in the room are also carefully crafted. Another thing I love is that it's conveniently located near a train station, but once you're inside, it's surprisingly peaceful. It feels like a hidden garden within the city, with the morning sunlight streaming into the room, creating a very comfortable atmosphere.

Standard double rooms are generally not very spacious. If you want a larger room, you have to opt for a twin room or a room with two double beds (which is not preferred). It would be better if there were larger room options for standard double rooms (with one bed).

This was a beautiful hotel which truly exceeded my expectations. the location is great, not far from the station but far enough to not have noise pollution. It was a very pretty almost modern style hotel with great facilities. The staff were extremely kind especially one gentleman who was incredibly kind and made our stay that much better.

The sole thing I would say is the bath is a little small but that's Japanese size!! And the bath was really good, for me the right size but I'm around 160cm, it was my partner who struggled a bit more but he's around 185cm!! 😂😂

This is a beautiful place to stay. The hotel puts a lot of effort into creating a relaxing atmosphere from the scented hallways to the aromatherapy shower supplies to the minimalist wood and stone rooms. The staff are really friendly and speak English. The hotel is 5 min walk from the station on flat ground so very easy to get to with a suitcase! I enjoyed staying here so much that I hope to stay again.

The property is modern and well-kept. Lobby and breakfast/dining area is spacious and overlooks a serene garden. Rooms are cozy and spotlessly clean. Breakfast options are relatively few, but they're all very tasty! The location is just a stone's throw away from Kamakura station, and in a very quiet area. But best of all is the staff; they're so kind and accommodating! The manager and staff really went above and beyond to make sure my mom and brother felt at home. Deeply appreciated. Full marks!
