From the location of the hotel to Tenjin shopping area is within walking distance. It has a supermarket and parking facilities nearby so it is really convenience for people who rather rent a car to visit nearby cities.

The room is small which is expected from APA Hotel where mostly solo or paired travellers to stay at. Also the heater is not so too useful, it's too hot to turn it on and it's too stuffy to turn it off. There is some visible dust along the ceiling where the heater blows at and the head board sill. The pillows are too flat, we have to ask for two more for my husband and I for the whole period of our stay. Only two sets of washing and drying machines at the hotel which we waited for almost 90 minutes for somebody to finish drying his load.

- location is superb; Daimyo neighborhood has all the cool brands and stores (good location for those into fashion) - walking distance to 2 grocery stores: Sunny and Aeon MaxValu Express (scored some discounted bento here at night) - walking distance to Akasaka Stn, so you only need to take the airport line going here from the airport; no need to transfer - they provide new beddings, towels, toiletries every day. staff leaves them on your door. then, every 3 days, there's mandatory housekeeping

- not a con for me but for some people, the room size might be a turn-off - in our experience, you can only fit max 1 large luggage in the room. if you lay it on the floor, the luggage would already consume most of the space. take note of that when booking! you can stow your luggage underneath the bed, but if you have many luggages, your room might get cramped - another con would be the microwave. i think there's only one for the whole building. thankfully, there wasn't any queue whenever we heated our food, but idk the situation during peak season

GREAT value of money. Location: A few minutes walk to Akasaka metro station (1 station away from Tenjin)- on the way from the station to the hotel there is a pharmacy. It is also right next to AEON Maxvalue supermarket and another super market I couldn't remember the name of. The room: Exceptionally clean! Even though it was compact the amenities were more than adequate. The smart tv has been helpful. There was a fridge in the room. The wifi was smooth. There are also common spaces, shared washing machine, microwave etc in the hotel. Also the staff was not proficient in English, they were very helpful and could wisely communicate with me. They were friendly.

Not really an unsatisfactory matter, but there were mandatory cleaning on thr fourth day of your stay for each room. Also, the room was really compact which might be a problem for visitors with more than 1 large suitcases

Very good location, walking distance to the Akasaka subway and Kego bus stop and is in a quiet neighborhood. Staff are very helpful and responds kindly to our queries and requests. Amenities are replenished regularly. Keep it up! Thank you very much!

We stayed for 7 nights, and the room was cleaned only once. Only 2 bottles of water were complimentary. We experienced a 6.2 earthquake on our last night.... We were scared as we were staying at the 14th floor! Thank God we were safe.

The hotel facility is very good. everything efficient and comfortable. the rate is very competitive. the staffs are very nice. one of them can speak english but even the one that don't , make an effort by using google translate to communicate with us.

Actually none. But just make note that the room is small. So, it may be a bit cramp for those travel with lots of luggages. The location is a bit further from tenjin. To go shopping on tenjin, you need to walk about 10 minutes. a pleasant walk along the small street with shops.

Very close to restaurants and very beautiful parks. Asakasa station just 5 mins walk. Clean and staff very friendly.

That we could not open the window even a little bit to change the air in the room was a pity. Also to improve a bit the laundry machines as there provided only 2 wash&dry and for the amount of guests is not enough was impossible to wash clothes as they were always taken.

Room temperature control sucks - after Nov 6, we couldn’t use a/c and even with a small opening of a window, we were in sweats, suffering and uncomfortable. Staff kneeling and working on the floor - please give them portable table to work with ease. It looked like the hotel was forcing them to “get down and work on the floor”.

A very very good location at a very reasonable price. Near Akasasa station (which makes commutation to the airport and to several places in Fukuoka easy.) and within a walking distance from the Tenjin area. Surrounded by several supermarkets (MaxValue, Lawson, Family mart, Sunny etc.). The room is quite small but is well designed in terms of function and comes with a lot of amenities.

Avoid rooms XX03 and XX05 as it is near the utility room.

Hotel is located near everything in the heart of shopping area and restaurant. Room is clean and comfortable bed which value of price.

None but the cleaning service is on daily but you have to put the sign to clean the room by 9am if after that maid will not provide service even you put the sign but they will provide you the new towel and bathrobe hanging at your door instead.

The staff are very polite and helpful

The temperature in Fukuoka is still around 24 degree celsius. I want to adjust the air conditioner in room to cool to cold mode but fail. It can only blow out the warm air. After asking the staff, they said the air conditioner has changed to heat mode already. The only way to do is open the window.
