Great guesthouse with a spacious Japanese-style bedroom. Everything was spotless, and they have a time-slot system for the shared bathroom so that it's easy to use. The breakfast was also delicious. We only stayed one day, I wished we had stayed at least one more. The staff was very kind and agreed to store our luggage on check-out day so that we could go to Geibikei gorge hassle-free. Geibikei is an easy 15-minute stroll from the guest house.
If you're travelling with a large suitcase like us, it might be a bit tedious to drag it from the station - it's a 10ish-minute walk.

The cafe is a small, unassuming lodge with small private rooms and shared toilets, bath, and showers. The location is very near the Geibikei Gorge boat docks which is the main tourist site in this area. The staff is polite but also exceedingly hands-off. We only spoke to one staff member - the cafe server - and she laid out the procedures and rules before fixing us a welcoming coffee. Nice, quiet, and relaxed tone to the site. Definitely consider if you are seeking a bucolic stay in inaka.

I can't get over how great Cafe Guesthouse Kaziya is. The guesthouse itself is very pretty and clean. Our room was quite spacious and had a desk so it was easy for me to work. The surrounding area is really pretty. We went to the Geibikei Gorge and did an 80 minute boat tour which was a lot of fun. But the best part was the food at this cafe. Breakfast was always amazing. The last few days we also had dinner there and dinner was truly incredible. There aren't a lot of restaurants walking distance from the guesthouse so getting dinner here was really convenient.
It would have been nice if their booking.com offering also listed dinner as an option. When we got to the guesthouse we saw people eating dinner and asked if we could also get dinner and luckily they were able to fit us in. I am not sure if they always do dinner or not which might be why the dinner option doesn't appear on booking.com.

1. Breakfast is amazing. What looks like a simple toast, bursts into a flavourful of happiness the moment you take the first bite. You also get freshly brewed coffee and juices for breakfast. 2. Great location. It's walking distance from the train station and also the boat ride for the gorge. It's also the last house on the street so it's very quiet at night. 3. Very reasonably priced for a private room. A really comfortable bed and the comforter is perfect for the cold weather as well. The room comes with an aircond/heater and also a humidifier. Towels are provided as well. 4. Showers are shared but it's no problem at all as it's kept very clean and during my stay I did not have to wait to use it. The shower gel and shampoo smells awesome. There's also a bath on the first floor that you can use by placing the magnet with your room number next to an available time slot on the board. 5. Staff were really nice and polite. I was able to store my backpack after checking out. 6. Aesthetically pleasing place as well, especially the dining area overlooking the field.
None. It was perfect. I wish I could stay longer

Beautiful guest house! So much care and attention went into every aspect of this lovely place. The breakfasts and dinners were absolutely delicious and so beautifully presented! The room was comfortable and the staff were so kind. We really enjoyed our stay!
I dont like to mention this but since the guest house was full, it was very noisy late a night. Also music was played through the speakers outside the rooms from about 6.30am-9.30pm. Bring earplugs if you want a good sleep or a sleep in.

The staff is very nice and helpful, response very fast. I text them few times here let them know I need late check in as my train will arrive around 9:30pm, staff reply in the same day and wait for me, help me lift the heavy luggage to 1/F. The house is very nice and comfy, simple, clean, feel like home. The breakfast look very nice and tasty, it really made my day when I see the breakfast with big smile.

Loved the staff, ambiance, food and local tourist attractions. Geibekei Gorge boat ride is not to be missed! We would come back here in a heartbeat! Oh and there were storks roosting that we could see from our porch!
Nothing was missing in our stay. Just perfect!

It is just near the Geibekei Gorge, so you can walk there, and the guesthouse let me leave my bag there . It's a lovely stay, pristine and tidy. Hot tea is free in the dining area. The staff are attentive and welcoming.
