Loved loved our stay in Kurashiki. Super close to the train station so easy and convenient to get around. The apartment is super clean and very modern. The bed was comfy and shower great but pillows could be better. We enjoyed having access to the great kitchen and even to the washing machine. The host is very friendly and responsive. The information about the local area left in the apartment is great also! Highly recommend!

The whole apartment was just perfect! The owner is super easy to talk to and messages back immediately, so check-in worked well. We had our own little kitchen, an amazing Japanese style sitting- and bed-are. Enough space for 2 people with backpacks and a private clean bathroom. A supermarket and the main station are just around the corner. All in all a very recommended guesthouse!

Clean and cozy but lighting is kind of dark, in the day you can open the curtain to brighten the room. Didn’t expect the rather high step up to toilet and bathroom which would not be very convenient for people with mobility issues. If you are on the first level, there’s also a very high step into the apartment. Host is very kind and helpful! Small kitchen has everything needed:)

The owner was extremely friendly, we had problems with our rental car and he helped us to make the phone call and explain to them our problem. He even waited with us for the rental company to come to the apartment and stay with us the whole time! Really really appreciated his time and hospitality. He was the best host that I had ever encountered in Japan . As for the apartment, it was tiny but really got everything you need. very clean and equipped. It has washer and dryer inside . toothbrush and coffee are all provided. very Nice. The location is just across the outlets and there is also shopping mall inside where we had our dinner and buy the grocery inside

Very pleasant stay. The host was wonderful with communication. Lots of hot water and a comfy bed. Wifi worked super well. The location is fantastic - close to places of interest, shopping, supermarket and the train station.

This is not the host's fault but there was a lot of noise (constant thumping sounds late at night :( from the people upstairs which was really annoying. (Maybe ask for a room on the first floor?)

It is very comfortable. The carpet next to the bed is soft, and the bed has nice mattress. There is a bed lamp too. The is also an air purifier, which we appreciated. The living area has adequate amenities, including hairdryer, tooth brushes, mugs… It is located next to the Outlet mall, through which you can walk to the station and the sightseeing area easily.

Maybe in the winter you need to pack extra warm socks because outside the bedroom area it is wooden floor, and the standard hotel slippers are quite thin.

I thought the location was great. 10 minute walk from the station, and right next to an outlet mall as well as a shopping mall. The historical distance was about a 15 minute walk as well. The apartment was clean, with small cute amenities and decorations that let us really experience staying in a standard, small Japanese apartment. There was a washer/dryer, which was convenient to wash our clothes.

Firstly the location was perfect for us. Exactly a cross the road from Mitsui shopping outlet and Ario shopping centre. Literally 3 minutes walk. 2ndly the value for money can not be beaten.. The apartment was perfect for us 3 travelling, we were able to cook our own food and even wash our clothes. Aya san the owner was so kind and so easy to communicate with.. We drove and was able to secure a free parking space which was amazing for us and if you are thinking of checking of Kurashiki old town, it is only a 9 minute drive from there.. There main things we liked about the apartment was the sweet decorative touch Aya san did.. It really felt like a home away from home Lastly, the icing on the cake was, we had left one of our phones behind and didn't realise until we had arrived in Himeji ( 1 hour drive away ) Aya san contacted us and we were able to arrange for the item to be posted to our home in Osaka.. Were else could you find amazing service like this??? It was so touching that we were lucky enough to stay at Aya sans life guest house and to experience her kindness.. If you are thinking of going to Kurashiki then you don't need to look any further... This is the place to go

Well located, it is central but not noisy! A short walk to the train/bus station. Clean and neat, stylish and thoughtfully furnished, the hosts have thought of pretty much everything one might need when travelling. The kitchen is complete, towels and toiletries lovely, laundry washer and dryer in the room. There is even an air purifier! We borrowed the bicycles to go around town, great experience. Host was responsive, attentive and clear. HIGHLY recommend.
