Spacious for twin bed room. The room is very clean and new. Toilet and washing area are great! High tech with adapters provided.

It is just opposite Morioka station. However must locate the lift, if not have to drag luggage down the underground stairs to go over to the hotel. It will be great if there is instruction on how to locate the lift in the website!

This hotel room was spacious and fairly updated, especially compared to other business hotels I've stayed at in Japan. The mattress was firm but comfortable. It was very close to the train station. It's a good place especially if you are just stopping over for a night and continuing your travels the next day.

If you are particular about lighting, it's not great. There were some very bright lights that we couldn't seem to dim, even though dimming seemed to be an option on the remote. Besides the lighting, I can't really find anything in particular to criticize.

The hotel is just 50m from the northern exit of the train station and bus stops. The room is clean and tidy. Even our room faced to the main road but it is stilll very quiet. The bed is comfortable. A convenient shop is just next to the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast which is value for money. The coined self serve laundry services is excellent,

We booked the room with 27m, but it does not look like that size, but it is only a small issue.

A good location right opposite train station. Head out from the station towards the bus station you can see the hotel opposite. There is a busy road to cross but, fear not, there is an underpass to help you get to the hotel. Check in was good with an English speaking clerk. Our room was larger than I expected for a Japanese business hotel. It was clean and comfortable with a wifi which worked well. A bonus was the second floor lounge with free coffee and soft drinks. Also there is a 24 hour convenience store attached to the hotel. At check in we had been warned that the hotel was full and that breakfast would be busy, so we chose not to book it and get supplies for breakfast from the store. Good decision seeing the length of the queue the next morning. Despite the cold weather and the busy road our room was warm and quiet with an interesting view of the comings and goings at the railway and bus stations. The hotel proved more than adequate for an overnight stay.

The location was across the train and bus stations. A little difficulty with the basement crossing and elevators, though, but all-in-all just a few minutes away. Front office staff was confident and sure in engaging with guests, speaking good and clear english. The lady at the front desk, not content pointing to us using a map, went out of her way to personally escorting us to an excellent restaurant serving “Morioka noodles.” Arigatou gozaimus!

It was a very short stay (overnight) and it was heavenly!

Amazing beds, double pillows, right across the station with a fantastic view, all the amenities you'd want, clean, friendly, spacious room… You name it, this hotel had it. Will definitely book the Richmond again if it is available.

Perhaps a more modern way to dim the lights in the room? But otherwise absolutely no remarks. Wonderful, spacious hotel in a great location, with friendly staff. Richmond is the way to go in Morioka for us!

Hotel location is super convenient, right in front of JR Morioka station east exit. Room is very spacious and bed is very comfortable. Very impressed with the amenities and also there is daily free drinks available to hotel guests. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Morioka. You won't regret it.

There is nothing that I didn't like. Everything is beyond my expectations.

Fantastic. I was told to join the Righmond Club for free and I could then have free 12pm check out instead of 11pm. Excellent. This hotel is super clean and has amazing facilities. It's right outside the station. Great drip coffee bags. Bed was really comfortable. Staff went out of the way to help. Love the laundry indicator on tv that tells you how long to go. There is no need to sit in the laundry room.

I stayed 6 nights, having sole use of a semi double room. The hotel looks brand new. The room was large with a very comfortable queen sized bed, table and 2 proper chairs. Lovely decor. Even the entry halfway was wide! Across the road from the station. Exit B4 from the underground maze underneath the station bus stop area. Convenience store connected to the lobby. Drip coffee bags provided in the room. 4 washing/dryer combo machines on floor 7 with English instrtions. No noise either from outside or other rooms. The window could be opened for fresh air. Spotlessly clean.

The staff were eager to be helpful but all of them only spoke a few words of English. This made sending takkyubin to Haneda a little complicated. I thought the breakfast was expensive at 2300 yen per adult, in contrast to the very reasonable price of the room. (I had breakfast 3 times. ) There were full covid precautions at breakfast (gloves, perspex partitions, no serving utensils) and almost everything was offered in individual preprepared tiny portions. Some local specialties were included. I liked the local milk in 300ml glass bottles. Except for the bathroom, the only way to turn the room lights on and off was by a remote control. In the dark of night, a bedside switch would have been easier.

Location was excellent. Very easy to get around and fantastic to get to the train station. Lots of shopping and food places at the train station via the underpass right out front of the hotel. Hotel is directly across from Morioka train station and very close to car rentals.

Not really anything we didn't like. We had a triple room and everything was good.
