Hotel were very modern, exactly like the pictures, dont expect too much from the breakfast but it was worth the view and still a very decent meal. There were washer+dryer combo which automatically dispense detergent. Water dispenser were available downstairs with glass jug for you to refill. Room and toilet were very clean and huge, beds were comfortable, more than ample space to open your luggages.

Humidifier that you could borrow from the lobby was the steamer type, and in use with the hairdryer for a while, it managed to trip the power. The smart TV with Netflix and Youtube, language was also in Japanese and did not allow switching to other language as it was locked, though nothing a translation app cant fix. Wished there's was more than 2 washing machine as each cycle took two hours and there's always a queue with lots of people trying to wash, and also other guest leaving their clothes in and not taking it out. Very close to Kintetsu station but it's a very very gentle upslope to the hotel, before a final short gradient. Though that means heading to the JR from the hotel was a breeze as it was all downslope.

The hotel is newly renovated, with great design and the common areas are really nice. The room was very nice, super comfortable bed and the bathroom also had a really spacious shower “onsen style”. From the terrace you can see the park and the deers, so it feels very relaxing. Location is really strategic, walking distance from the metro station and the main temples.

Breakfast was really good but western breakfast was not available and they were not flexible in accommodating my request of switching certain elements of the set. I understand and support not doing a full cleaning everyday to save energy and water, but I do not understand why they cannot come and tidy up the room, make up the bed, change the glasses and so on. they also provide you with new towels every day and these seems less environmental friendly than a general tidy up.

The location was great. All the places we wanted to go were in a walking distance (with an electric -scooter type- wheelchair so we needed a bit of push to go up the hill). The hotel's cafe has a beautiful open view to the park where we sighted deers every now and then. The contemporary architecture, interior design, arts and crafts are all interesting. Coin laundry facility was useful.

The way disable access was located and we needed an assistance to open the door to get in the building. The breakfast menu was limited. We stayed for 3 nights and chose western breakfast so ended up with an exactly the same plate dish every morning. Although most staff were helpful and we're so thankful for their assistance, unfortunately not all staff were friendly nor attentive... No coffee provided in the room (we travel with our own so not a problem).

Perfect location, couple minutes walk to the main area of shops and restaurants but also a terrace on the park where you can enjoy a coffee with views of deer! Best shower we had in Japan- very powerful, comfortable beds and nice dark room at night. Oh and best green tea in the room I’ve ever had!!

Maybe I misunderstood but I didn’t realise the hotel lobby was also a public cafe, so it’s very busy there all the time. The terrace is not for hotel guests only but anyone can come have a coffee, which is a shame as then there is nowhere to sit a relax for a while with a book.

The hotel has the sleek, minimalist aesthetic I expected it to, going by the pictures. It was beautifully maintained, the room larger than I expected, though I'd have been happy with a cupboard or at least a drawer to put my clothes into. The staff was extremely pleasant and breakfast a visual and gustatory delight. Devouring it out on the sunny terrace on a cold morning was a special bonus. The location was perfect...away from downtown Nara's maddening crowd and within easy walking distance of the major sights. A suggestion: the staff could accompany the guest to the room initially to show him/her what's where. It would orientate the guest and serve as a gracious gesture of hospitality. Overall, my brief stay was thoroughly enjoyable. A warm thanks to the hotel staff!

Less rigidity. For instance, telling the breakfasting guest that the terrace would be closed at 10 am sharp! Where's the difficulty in keeping the terrace open to the guest a little longer? But Japan's hotels seen to be bound down by all sorts of rules.

Wonderful location, so close to the most common tourist attractions, but also nearby lots of cute little streets and great restaurants. The atmosphere was calm, everything was clean, and the staff were 10/10 so wonderful! They truly went above and beyond for us while we were there, and they made the stay even better. The cafe was lovely as well, and we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio and watch the deer graze right next to us. Overall a very serene and calm experience.

If there’s just one small thing I would’ve wanted, it would be an iron and ironing board by the washing machines. Other Share Hotels have them, so I was surprised this one didn’t have one. However, I also didn’t ask the staff, and maybe they would’ve been able to get me one if I had. It wasn’t a dire situation, so it was ok.

Excellent location near the train station, Nara Park, the Yoshikien Garden, the Todai-ji complex, shops and restaurants. The hotel terrace was a nice plus for a relaxing drink in the evening. The room very comfortable, spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful; the breakfast was excellent.

This is a small observation, but the very large couch in our twin room took up a lot of space, but was uncomfortable for seating. It would have been more useful to have one soft chair, a small table and several table chairs in this space.

The superior Mountain View was a treat, spacious enough for 4 with views of the park. Deer would come through the park every afternoon. There’s also a view of kofuku-ji pagoda although it is being restored and mostly covered with scaffolding. Breakfast was the same everyday but very good. The communal tea room in the basement was lovely.

The hotel attempts to run a bar/cafe out of the area where you eat breakfast which includes the terrace. It looks like it would be a great common area for guests but they’re expecting paying customers to sit there outside of breakfast. At the same time, the menu isn’t very extensive. They offer snacks and 1 or 2 noodle dishes. There are also basement rooms and I could see the experience not being the same as ours if you are in a basement room.

Downstairs tea room was very cool and the design of the place was great. It was right next to the deer park and within walking distances of everything we wanted to do.

There wasn't really any staff interaction, it's supposed to be a self-checkin type situation. They were nice, but it would have been better to have a warm reception to set the mood. The water refills were in the basement and that was a bit inconvenient. There was also a roach in our room that I killed. I didn't mention it to anyone. Not a huge deal because everything else was clean. It was random.

- excellent location on the edge of Nara Park with most of the main attractions and the Keiretsu station (for fast connections to Kyoto) 10 min away - Very elegant modern Japanese interior design. There is obviously a lot of attention that went into the hotel decoration. - Both Japanese and Western breakfasts were exquisitely presented and really tasty. The breakfast room has a large open view on the park with the deers grazing right outside the hotel terrace - Super friendly and helpful staff. They upgraded us to a larger room when we complained about our initial room. They also helped us to arrange for a taxi at the last minute and called over 5 different companies until they secured one

- We were initially given one of the smallest rooms (ending in 10 or 11). The room was very small even by Japanese standards and was half the size of most other rooms. We only had 2 nights in Nara so we’re not too fussed but it would be too small for a longer stay and for people travelling with much luggage. The biggest issue was that the room ( and the other ones ending in 10 or 11) was close to the elevator and the noise and vibration kept us up the whole night. We got upgraded to the largest room ( junior suite) for our second night and that was absolutely stunning 😍
