We are a family of 5 with 3 young adult daughters, so we booked 3 rooms. Mattresses were comfortable and clean/functional bathroom. We liked the relatively low price for rooms and were pleasantly surprised when we returned from a day out sightseeing to find new towels in our rooms and the bins had been emptied. Also like how they have an assortment of complimentary things in the foyer that you can take if needed, eg. moisturiser, toothbrushes & toothpaste, razors etc. and bathrobes to use during your stay. It’s nice to have the use of microwaves in the foyer and free coffee.

Pillows are too hard and there was no free tea in the foyer.

The staff were very friendly and assisted using English. The room was clean and came with a kettle, mini fridge, TV and aircon. The location was close to restaurants, convenience stores and tourist attractions - making the price acceptable.

The noise level of the other guests were very loud especially between 10-12pm. Kids will be running down and shouting - as if their parents never taught them to be considerate of others - and some guests will speak really loud in the corridors. It is mostly the children shouting for the mothers over and over again, at 11pm, when they should be sleeping. The hotel staff can't be blamed for this, but something should be in place as a curfew or something for guests to be considerate of others.

The hotel was very clean. There were two elavator, so you almost never have to wait for long. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. In the lobby, two microwaves and a hot water machine. Our room had a TV through which we could watch Netflix (through your own account). It was small but sufficient. The room was equipped with blackout curtains, a water boiler, and a fridge. It was small but sufficient

The bathroom was (as per usual in Japanese hotels) rather small. That in and of itself wasn't a big problem, but our shower head broke halfway through our stay, so we could only use the bath. There were some cracks that made me feel suspicious. The bathroom didn't dry well at all, towels hung up to dry remained wet. As did the walls and any other surface. Always kind of damp. At the end of our stay my companion mentioned that they thought there's mould in the bathroom (which considering it stayed wet and foggy HOURS after showering, isn't a surprise). We were unprepared for how small a Japanese "double bed" is. It's 140cm wide at most.

Whilst the hotel is a bit away from the main station, it is right near the main tourist attractions of Okayama. Getting around is easy with a tram/trolley car right out front. There are many eating options and the local closed in shopping street is only about 150metres away. It is a good basic hotel but had the worst sound deadening of our trip....we were awake at 6am both mornings with doors slamming and people thumping around....the walls are thin!

Sound between rooms and floors is pretty bad

The location is about as good as it gets; not that far from the main station and very close to tram stops, right next door to many of the best museums and tourist spots, and an area with loads of cool restaurants and bars. Staff were kind, check-in/out was easy. I liked that there was a self-service area on the ground floor for toiletries and things, seems less wasteful than placing them automatically in rooms.

My room/bathroom could have been a tad cleaner, but still perfectly acceptable.

Receptionist spoke good English and was very pleasant. The room is nicely equipped. They have a nice choice of toiletries in the lobby, much bigger than in some other hotels where we stayed and payed more. They had free coffee. The location is very good - near the castle and the gardens and about 20 min walk to the main station (there is also a tram and a bus that go to the station). Despite it is an older hotel it had a smart TV with Netflix.

It is an older hotel, and the room is small, don't expect luxury, but for the price it is very acceptable.

The online pre arrival check in process for a group needs improvement. The emails do not identify which room type or which person the request relates to. This resulted in guests who booked twin rooms being given single rooms upon arrival. Fortunately the mix up was soon discovered and rectified easily.

Easy Check-in and check-out. Nice staff, good amount of amenities, even you can buy inside sweet breads and sandwiches. Good internet as well. You can let your luggage after and before doing checkout or check in.

Far from Okayama station, but if you want to go to the castle and korakuen, you'll be there in a few minutes. There's no laundry, and you'll have to walk a while if you want to go to a restaurant or an izakaya

The location is great, right next to the cable car and eight minutes drive from the Okayama station. There’s a convenience store next to the hotel. The Okayama castle the river and the beautiful garden were close to the hotel. There’s also some nice restaurants in the area. And the room was pretty big and nice. the washing machine and the dryer worked great.

The bathroom was small

Clean, Confortable, spacious enough for thw price. We had a Smart TV with the possibilities to use any common streaming service and youtube. WIFI worked great and the Laundromats had explanations in english too. Hotel was also only 5 mins away from Okayama Castle and 10 mins from Korakuen Garden. And in 10 Mins you could find great places to eat as well. The Electric Tram station going to and from the Main train station was right outside the door. Comfy all around.

Really had nothing to complain. Very solid business hotel.
