right in the middle of town so close proximity to the main transportation hubs. all the food here is very delicious!

noisy! wish there were blackout curtains. lights from the train station brightly shine in all through the night.

Really clean and modern hotel with a very central location - ideal for starting the Shimanami Kaido. Also it had all the amenities you could need, incl. washing facilities which were very useful.

Would have liked some choice with the breakfast to accommodate dietary restrictions. We could hear the trains at night, which kept waking up my partner. Also couldn't easily open suitcases due to the room layout.

This was the best accomodation we had for our entire 3 week trip! The room had an elevated tatami mat area with back rests and a view over the harbour which was so comfortable and perfect spot to relax. Bed was really big and comfy, and this is the only hotel where we had a walk in shower not in a bathtub. Perfect location as well - on top of the station but still quiet and easy walk to all the restaurants. Staff were all really friendly and helpful.

There was no breakfast buffé, instead the breakfast was served individually on a tray. The quality was good but I would have preferred a buffé because I would have picked different food items for breakfast.

You can't beat this place on location full stop. You tap your IC card at the station and the stairs/elevator are right there to the hotel on the floor above. Don't worry about noise we could see down the station platform from our room and never heard a train. Once you do leave the hotel there are food, bike hire and ferry within a few 100m of the hotel. Sad we only had the one night. Staff were amazing. Private onsen/hot bath was great.

Loved the high ceilings in the room. Strong shower. Clean room and nice design, and thoughtful touches like bedroom slippers, many charging sockets. Breakfast was also enjoyable and well presented. Location superb being right by train station - great that windows well insulated so minimal train noise experienced.

The Nespresso machine water container appeared to have a leak as we noticed water on the table subsequently. Having English news channels on tv would be a bonus.

Neat little room - tiny, but well appointed and efficient! Big step up from the genkan to the room. Not all rooms have this so be sure to check if you have accessability issues. It was very quiet since January is the off season. I was the only person in the restaurant at breakfast both days I was there.

insanely delicious set course dinner! lovely bath in the room. bed was comfortable! lockers to store our bags while doing the Shimanami Kaido were a big win.

the subway is definitely noisy so bring earplugs. and shuffling feet throughout the night and early morning can be heard through the thin door. just a noisier stay.

The room layout was nice and comfortable, the tatami loft was good to relax in. Location right on the station, central to many attractions. Breakfast was tasty and the staff were helpful.

Storage space is limited if you have alot of luggage.
