Stayed here for 2nights in superior twin room so that we could easily head to USJ. In 15 mins. Loved the whole modern atmosphere of the room and modern facilities as well as the bath tub. The size of the room was bigger in real life than in photos. We could actually sit and use the sofa to watch TV and have our meals. Plus the bath tub was the biggest of all 5 accommodations I stayed throughout my trip. Amazing deal. We didn't go for their breakfast. Just down stairs is a street of restaurants. We requested as well for a quiet room and had good nights sleep. The whole experience would have been different if our room was closer to the track noises. So do request for a quiet room. Staff also allowed us to leave the luggages upon check out til we were done for the day.

Beautifully decorated and smartly organised room, spotless cleanliness, as well as excellent breakfasts are what made this hotel stand out on our trip. The space in the room was enough for 2 travellers with 2 trolleys and 2 backpacks. The bed was very comfy. The staff was very polite and helpful. The location was 15-20 minute refreshing walk from main restaurant streets and the train station. At the same time, not being right in the middle of the restaurant district meant that we had a really restful and quiet night. For us, the stay at Hanshin Annex, in its price range, was a luxurious experience.

The location is excellent - very handy for the Loop Line with a station just a two minute walk away. There are dozens of restaurants nearby with a range of Asian food and tapas for some reason. The room is certainly adequate and cosy is a word I would use to describe the size. Japan hotel rooms are notoriously small but the room was fine for me as a solo traveller. The bed was very comfortable and housekeeping do a great job keeping everything clean. The television has YouTube and other video services. The hotel staff are very good and a special mention to Xhao, who really went above and beyond with my luggage forwarding. There is access to free washing machines. The ironing room is handy also. Breakfast is also available, although geared towards Asian guests. The lifts were always available and fairly quick. Check in and check out were both super fast. Very nice staff. Indeed I was a little sad to leave for Tokyo!

There is nothing to dislike about the property. Some guests on Booking will moan for the sake of it, it seems!

Great hotel only a few minutes walk from station. Staff absolutely went above and beyond for us during our stay. Upon hearing we were due to travel to Tokyo on the day all Shinkansen had been cancelled due to a typhoon warning, the female reception member changed our duration of stay, organised new tickets for us (so we could travel before trains stopped) and even came to the station to help us get them. 5 star plus service. She deserves huge praise for all the help she provided us. A credit to the hotel and we shall recommend this hotel to anyone we know coming to Osaka.

If you want to have a Western breakfast you need to request that when checking in so you can receive vouchers to go to the sister hotel and have a fantastic breakfast. It was only a short walk away. The location of the hotel was great, very close to the train station. Also a short train ride away to Universal Studios which was perfect. If you get a good understanding of Japan's rail network then it's fantastic and very easy to get around. The hotel was very clean and towels changed daily as well as beds made. The laundry facilities were free (amazing and really appreciated). You can monitor the laundry facilities availability via your TV through the hotel. (saves you going up and down the lifts!!) While the hotel was close to the train station we didn't have any issue with noise.

The location is close to the station and lots of restaurants in between the 2 min walk from there. Staff are incredibly helpful, greeting you once they see you. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were small but also well decorated and lit. It has a nice picture spot on the reception floor. Also, cannot understate how amazing the free laundry machines were. We used them twice to keep our clothes fresh and they even have an ironing room right next to it. Check the TV for when it's next free and line up before because there was a line when I went in the evening.

I didn't realise that for amenities like face cleanser and moisturiser you had to go to the front desk and ask. 1 of the 3 laundry machines were out of order. Made the wait for the next free machine longer.

Returning to Hotel Hanshin Annex Osaka before heading back to my home country was a delightful decision. The consistent quality of service and accommodation made my second stay just as enjoyable as the first. The hotel's proximity to Fukushima Station remained a significant advantage, allowing for easy travel connections and last-minute explorations around Osaka. The room was again spacious and brightly lit, which is always a plus for me as it creates a more welcoming atmosphere. The staff were as courteous and helpful as I remembered, ensuring that all aspects of my stay were comfortable and hassle-free. It was reassuring to come back to a familiar place where the high standards of hospitality were maintained. Overall, my return to Hotel Hanshin Annex Osaka reaffirmed my positive impressions from the first visit, making it a reliable choice for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Osaka.

Very clean and the bathroom like new. Beds very comfortable, the hotel supply fresh towels and other personal items as well as offer to make up the room every second day or on request daily. The hotel location is very convenient 100 meters from train station and in strategic position one station away from Osaka centre and 4 stations from universal studios, Umeda building is within walking distance.

The room is a bit small which is usual in Japan’s hotels but it wasn’t a problem for us since we didn’t have big suit cases or a lot of luggage.

My stay at Hotel Hanshin Annex Osaka was thoroughly enjoyable, especially due to the room's spaciousness and bright lighting, which I particularly appreciate as I prefer well-lit spaces. The room comfortably accommodated four adults, providing ample space for us to place our luggage on the floor without feeling cramped. The hotel's location is exceptional — just a stone's throw away from Fukushima Station, and only one station from the central Osaka Station. This proximity made it incredibly convenient to use the loop line for traveling around the city. Another thoughtful feature of the hotel was the separation of the toilet and bathroom, which added an extra level of comfort. Additionally, the area surrounding the hotel is vibrant, with numerous food stalls and a nearby minimart, making it easy to grab a bite or any necessities. The hotel staff also demonstrated excellent service by helping us store our luggage while we traveled to Kobe for two days. We appreciated this convenience so much that we decided to return to the hotel after our visit to Kobe. This decision enhanced our overall experience and highlighted the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, the combination of a strategic location, bright rooms, and convenient amenities made my stay at Hotel Hanshin Annex Osaka a delightful experience.

Location was very convenient, close to metro station; breakfast buffet (western style) was kind of basic... sufficient to start your day not waisting time looking for different options outside the hotel; very secure area, there's a lot of restaurant next to the hotel that offer different dinner options

Everything was perfect; in General in Japan rooms are very small; this one was for sure one of the biggest ;)
