The staff was very friendly; when I asked to change my bed from the top to the bottom, they did so cordially. And above all. It's close to a train station for travelling to Kyoto. They have washer and dryer machine.

The only thing I found difficult was that all the suitcases were left in one room, both men's and women's, which was a bit uncomfortable. However, when I needed to take out my clothes, I took the suitcase to the women's area. That was the only uncomfortable thing,

Extra 400-500 yen for a breakfast consisting of a slice of toast, small cup of yoghurt, salad, and 1 drink. You judge if it is worth getting it or just get something from convenient store instead

The lockers are incredibly small. I would expect to at least fit a winter jacket and a backpack in it, but nope, it was so narrow I can barely squeeze in my shoes.

I was really impressed with the facilities - the bathroom and showers were very modern and clean, good lockers to store your valuables, free towels and slippers (in some places you have to rent them) staff were friendly and there was a nice restaurant next to the hostel. I had nice pizza and beer! I was cycling the Biwaichi and there was a cheap cycle storage place just across the road from the hotel. It's also in a good location for the cycle route.

The pods (and dormitory in general) were very hot. I think they need more air conditioning for summer.

The accommodation has a modern and cozy furnishing located directly at the train station. So commuting is so easy, also it’s a ten minute walk to the Lake and the concert house. I loved the various extras for ones own usage like Slippers, Pyjamas, toothbrushes combs and towels- so even if you forget something they got you covered. Also the staff is very friendly and very welcoming, they helped me a lot and were always open for questions. I highly recommend staying here!

Good capsule with newer style capsules, a large-ish lounge to eat and drink and do whatever that also has many modern manga (I like pre 1980s ones myself), location right at the station is my favorite so no getting lost. Best part is that the clientele were all Japanese and know the drill, so no common problems of capsules in places like Tokyo and Osaka with usually foreigners making loud noise/talking or watching phone without headphones in the capsules, leaving giant luggage in the corridor, making a general mess…

Good place, no probs

Very clean and comfortable to stay. They provide various amenities including pajamas and moisturiser cream, that may be common in accommodations in Japan but I didn’t expect they would provide it in a capsule hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They would tell you good places to visit in Shiga prefecture. The breakfast was good and definitely worth the price.

The lockers are a little bit small.

It was very well located, literally at the train station. The facilities were clean and they provided pretty much everything you need. Also, the restaurant is so good!!

The beds were super uncomfortable- extremely hard. The pillow was extremely tiny and also rock hard. I had to use a blanket for a pillow instead.

Breakfast is good. Toasted bread with butter. Salad and yogurt. With drink options of coffee, tea and juices.

Sometimes, it was hot inside the capsule. Good thing that I have a mini fan. It solved the problem.

The atmosphere was very modern and cozy. I liked using the restaurant as a cafe to eat and hang out in.

The process for purchasing towels and amenities was never explained, so I just assumed we each get 1 body and face towel a day for free if you stay multiple days.

Separate capsules from bathroom They give you nightwear, towels and everything you need The staff was very kind

The pillows was NOT comfortable I think they need more reception staff, there was one person for all jobs
