The check-in process was very smooth. It was supposed to be a non-cash payment but they kindly opened a line for my overlooked mistake. The room I stayed in was very spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped. The hotel locates in the center of the city. It takes only 5-10 mins to JR Sendai station and the Loople-Sendai bus station, the shopping area, and the restaurant. 仙台朝市 is right around the corner too. ￥1500 breakfast (non-cash payment at the front desk) includes varieties of local food items. I'm surprised this hotel has only 3 stars when its' quality exceeds many of the 4-star hotels I have stayed in before.

Room service/Towel change will happen only when you placed the cards outside the door at the according time. I think the English instruction was incorrect because it said the priority will become getting new towels if no cards are placed but I get no new towels in the end.

Breakfast is tasty and the variety is great for a business hotel. Staff is the best, always greeting with smiles. Location is good, close to everything. The hotel is supposed to be smoking free but when I entered the room, the toilet room smells like an ash tray. After complaining to the front desk, they changed my room right away. Someone must have smoked in the toilet room despite of the non smoking rule.

The room is really small with two twin beds. I understand most Japanese rooms are small, but I think the layout can be rearranged to make it more comfortable. The night stand between two beds is not necessary because the headboard has ample space for phone,glasses…. If you move the night stand away, eliminate the space between two beds, it will make more useful space. However, for the price, I think the room size is acceptable.

Close to Sendai train station. Shopping malls & convenience shops nearby. Friendly staff. Free amenities like bath salt, cleansing oil etc which you can take yourself at the lobby. Nice breakfast spread, with some local specialties. Use of technology- easy self-check in, can link mobile phone to TV for YouTube and TV can display status of washing machine usage (so you know when it is free for use).

Only 3 washing machines and each wash/dry cycle takes 2 hours. Have to wait for the use of the machines till odd night hours. Breakfast has asian and western choices but no change in western menu during my 4 days stay. Might be boring to someone who doesn’t take asian food.

My room was quite clean and the staffs were nice. My bed was firm which I prefer. I got a room facing the front entrance of the hotel. The breakfast was great and served good food, Chirashi-sushi (rice topped with sashimi) and I also enjoyed the mochi with the edamame paste. The location to the Sendai Morning Market was only 2-3 minutes walking.

I think the bathroom had some kind of weird smell which I have to close the door all the time. I took about 15 minutes walk from Sendai Station to the hotel, which is not so bad if the weather is nice.

Of the ten hotels I had breakfast at during this trip, this was one of the better breakfasts. Along with the standard grilled fish, there was always a fish of the day and chirashi sushi. The other dishes were quite varied and of a higher quality than at most hotels. Most bathrooms in business hotels have a raised floor which can be quite annoying. This hotel was unique in not having a step up. I also liked that the mirror was heated so it did not become covered in condensation while showering. There are plenty of amenities to choose from in the hotel lobby. The layout of the room was good: TV at the foot of the bed, usable desk, and quite spacious. Some of the lighting was dimmable and there were USB charging ports beside the bed. Very handy for your smart phone! The bed and pillows were hard, which is quite common in Japan, and very comfortable.

Hotel is very clean and close to the main train station. A lot amenities to use which you can take from the lobby. The room is small but very clean with a comfortable bed and clean sheets. Pajamas are also provided on each floor.

The breakfast variety is kind of lacking. I wish there were a bigger selection of foods to choose from. Also the nearest convenience store is two blocks away so make sure to buy before you come into the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful (even when dealing with some truly awful and demanding tourists who were checking in before us). The breakfast here was great value for money, and the hotel itself is opposite the morning market. It's a short walk from the station which is convenient, but a longer walk to down town. Rooms were an ok size. A little squishy when you have luggage, but this is basically true of all Japanese hotels.

The hotel seemed relatively new. The room was squeaky clean although a bit on the small side, but that was expected. They tried to sidestep it by providing luggage stowage space under the bed. Bathroom was pretty spacious for a Japanese business hotel. There is a coin laundry room that also has vending machines. The location is about a 15-min walk from Sendai Station. In the morning it is right by the super interesting Asaichi market. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

When walking to the hotel from the station after dark, we need to pass the dark and deserted street of the market. But it was generally safe.

Great location, very close to the station and it's always fun to travel through the local morning market on the way. If you arrive on the second floor of the JR station by Shinkansen with big suitcases, you can take the skywalk outside the station connecting to Parco 2, there is an elevator to take you to the ground level. Lockers at the station might be fully occupied during the day, and it's a great help to be able to leave the luggage at the hotel.

Room was spacious for us with just day packs. Not far from the station at all. 5 minutes? Self checkin and out but staff are there to assist if needed. Multiple languages available for self checkin/out. Quiet. Sensible layout since bath/shower, sink and toilet are separated. Breakfast was fine but the layout of the buffet was U shaped so with just a few people there it was awkward to access the various dishes. I don’t recall seeing any green tea available which was a surprise but it is not a big thing for us at all.

The only thing we didn’t like was the sponge provided to take a bath/shower. A friend described it as looking like a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It was ok but a longer tower that is usually used would have been better.
