While the rooms are small, they make great use of space and are very clean. We travelled as a family of 4. 2 adults, 11 & 13yrs. We stayed in a room max 6 comfort 4. I do think you could not sleep 6 unless very young children. Location was great close to trains, 7/11 and walking distance to Shinjuku centre. Easy check in and out process.
Upon entry there are stairs approx 8 to check in. I would be wary if people had a lot of luggage to take down or were elderly as they are quite steep. A very minor detail but a few tea bags/coffee would have been great to go with kettle/coffee cups.

The check in and check out option is easy. The place is very clean and uses every bit of space needed to have a relaxing stay. The beds are comfortable. The space is small but it’s exactly what is advertised. As a family of 5, and 5 luggages we didn’t feel too cramped. We spent most of our days outside, so the property is perfect for sleeping. Towels were changed regularly. There’s only a small refrigerator which is enough for a few drinks and maybe some food stuff. It’s a 15min walk to Shinjuku station, definitely doable. There’s a launderette nearby and a few market options.

Disappointed for receiving unpleasant notice to request us from keeping our noise down. We had been very conscious and cooperative, yet the staff accused our noise or disturbance. It's unpleasant to guests experience unnecessarily.

Fantastic stay. The room was 3 fits max 5, and we were five adults. Was tight, but it worked! The price was so great it was more than worth it. Two spots of suitcases under the one bed and 4 cubby holes near the door we used to store our backpacks. The other larger luggage was kept in the walkway but didn't impede movement too much. Walking distance (7 minutes or so) walk to the subway station. There was a small elevator to go up and down and only two rooms per floor so not too crowded of a place. It was very quiet as night, but I didn't hear any noise from the road or other tenants. We stayed 7 nights and got a full clean on day 5, which was nice with daily replacement of towels.
It could have been a little larger but it did say MAX 5 in the posting so we can't complain. The only option for booking was non-refundable which removed some flexibility for changing plans.

The hotel was very clean, fresh and modern. It was close to corner stores, restaurants and everything we needed as a family with a toddler. A quick walk to the station and straight into the heart of Shinjuku. Staying at this hotel gave us the best of both worlds, close to the bright lights , the huddle and bustle of the city but set in quiet suburban area , when we needed some down time. The temple behind the hotel, is also a nice little place to relax and stretch the legs.
The only 2 faults I have with the hotel is space (which I knew would be a problem) and the signs stating to be quiet. The space is very very small, which was fine for us as we weren’t staying very long and we literally just needed somewhere to sleep. But travelling with a stroller (very small travel stroller) and a very large suitcase made life a little awkward due to lack of space. Also the signs everywhere to be quiet were a little daunting. As a mother of a toddler I felt on edge whenever we were at the hotel, hoping that we were being quiet. It wasn’t easy to relax.

Location was close to Shinjuku action but far enough away to still be super quiet and settled for my little family. Room was cute and had good bedding for all the family. Compact but still room to move around (Room for 5, comfortable 3 - we wer 2 adults, 2 kids 7/10). Big TV with Netflix login available. Bathroom spacious for compactness of room/hotel. Great value for money. Close to metro stations and not too far from great bar/ shopping district. A little coin operated laundry about 25m left out the door and across the road, but some further away as per google. Out of the 3 hotels we stayed in Tokyo/Kyoto (both bigger name/larger hotel chains) our kids liked this one the best. Liked the Japanese fusion feel of room.
We weren't able to dispose of excess recycling but rubbish and recycling cleared every 3rd day so by the time we queried trash was removed the next day.

- Room furnishings were really nice and was more spacious than we thought. - Bathroom was lovely, great shower pressure. - Very comfy bed and cute area for sitting. - Strong air con and WiFi. - Location was pretty good, we walked from Metro with our bags which was a bit confusing on Google Maps but do-able, no problem ordering Ubers. - Appreciated the eco-initiative of refillable soap and shampoo (which also smelled great). Note: there isn't a Reception so there's nowhere to store your bags or ways to speak to staff, so keep that in mind if you want to store luggage. Top tip: we didn't get the name of the bakery nearby, but its lovely and super local, look out for it!
- Not loads of space to store your things if you were a group of 4, but for 2 or for only a couple of nights not a problem.

Modern and well equipped, good access/short distance to subway
Unmanned self-checkin works well but no contact person available for questions/help, no English speaking personnel available - even for the emergency phone number provided

The room was great and economical, very clean and check in process was good. The staff were very responsive online. The only concern was that we received a number of emails to say we were being loud with the threat of being asked to leave which I found offensive and surprising. The reason being as we were barely there, when we were there we were not loud, did not use the TV or play music and were in bed by 10pm each night and not awake until 7.30-8am. I am not sure how we could have been accused of being noisy to warrant this complaint. Thank you
Being told we were too loud with the threat of being asked to leave the accomodation.

The hotel is located in a much quieter and more family friendly area of Shinjuku and is close to restaurants, shops, a supermarket and transportation. The room we stayed in was comfortable and modern and came with a little fridge and kettle but no microwave. The shower was great and the beds were relatively comfortable. There was an amazing Taiyaki (Japanese sweet) shop very close to the hotel. The owner of the shop was lovely and talkative and we found ourselves spending time almost every evening talking with him while we waited for our food. There was also a great coin laundry close as well which also did a good job with a full wash and dry. Ask the staff and they would happily point out both these places.
