The hotel was well maintained, lobby was welcoming. The room was cleaner than other APA which I have been too. The staff was helpful in fixing our wifi. The rooms was quite spacious and had free entertainment. I was really happy that the reception allowed us to leave our bags for quite some time while we spend the rest of the day exploring the beautiful city of wakayama.

The room sound insulation was not very good especially from the corridor. We woke up and couldn't sleep as there were so many acitivies and random sounds at the corridor in the morning (people talking, pulling luggage, door closing and opening).

Very convenient — in the heart of wakayama so the bus stop for both the wakayama jr Shinkansen and the elective station wakayamashi (has a Starbucks and library in it) and close to wakayama castle Loves the easy location. Good size clean rooms and plenty of help from staff.

That it is a business hotel and the walls are pretty thin if there is a snorer in the next room you will hear them!

Great location along the main road, across from a supermarket/food hall. Staff were incredibly helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable. Washing and drying easily available and standard price. I left some valuables on check out and the staff were quick to alert me via messaging, truly the best care and attention. Thank you APA hotel! :)

Nice location, request for room with view was filled and room had nice open view over city and mountains. Very clean and smooth check-in. Good onsen close in building across the road.

Would be nice to be able to store bags under bed like at other APA hotels.

It was a great place to stay in Wakayama. I was travelling alone with a car to explore Wakayama Prefecture. The hotel did not have a car parking but had lots of nearby car parks which was great. The hotel itself is located in a very centralised area. Walking distance from the Wakayama Castle, and just a few steps away from a main shopping street. Very easy to access.

I was given a hotel room that was right next to the vending machine. Sadly, people were visiting the vending machine all the time so I heard a lot of noisy. I would recommend people to check what room they are getting and avoid a room close to the lifts or the vending machine if getting a good night sleep is really really important. For me, it was a little annoying at the start but it got quiet eventually and I was able to sleep well.

It was clean, the staff were very friendly, strong wi-fi. Everything was as expected.

The pillow was hard and uncomfortable. Sometimes I felt the cigarette smell.

Exactly what we expected from previous APA hotel stays. No luxury, but everything we needed. Very firendly and helfpul staff. Probably not excellent breakfast for Japanese standards, but definitely some interesting dishes for us to explore :)

Location was close to everything

The bed could have been in the Centre of room as partner was squished up against wall

Close to the station and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel that goes to the beach

It was a little old. Wall paper was coming off, the room smelled musty.

Its central location was perfect for being in the city. It was equal distance to everything I was there for.

Breakfast wasn't included in the price.
