- Great central location, 1/2km via Prince Mohd St to Amman downtown & local restaurants like Hashem; - very modern hostel with clean airy rooms, yet in a local neighborhood - I like the colourful spacious lounge where we can have a decent breakfast, get drinks.. - Hotel is pro-active for DIY travellers, listing the tours they can organise, & shared transfers/ transportation to destinations like Jerash, Petra, Wadi Rum - eg. Hotel listed on board: (1pax wanting to share car to Jerash, Aljoun ..) Great - I want to go too. - Hotel organised the clean 6 seater w driver for the day trip & I paid to hotel, not driver o Staff were cheerful & helpful. Thanks Ohribe, for your advice on tours

Although this hotel is a hostel, I booked a room just for myself with a private bathroom. Very comfortable and clean throughout the hotel, even the communal areas. Very nice outer lounge area with a kitchen including washing machine and dryer. Unfortunately the washing machine was in high demand and I was only there one night so didn't manage to use it. I left early before breakfast as I had to get the Jett bus, so cannot comment on the breakfast. Convenient location downtown close to all types of shops, restaurants and main attractions. Never stayed in a hostel before but from what I saw I would definitely recommend this one.

The best hostel where I stayed in during all my trips to different countries All is excellent. The accommodation is near to downtown, the personal are too professional and helpful. The place is so cozy and super clean You feel that you're in a hotel, not a hostel I loved the place so much, first of all I booked the place for one night, but I finally added 3 more nights The backyard is very colorful. You can talk to many people there and become friends with them You can buy a sim card from there also All you need you can find it there The first time that I don't want to leave the place. Keep going sydney team 🙏

A fantastic stay - Sydney Hotel was in a brilliant location, we could walk everywhere we wanted - Rainbow Street, Citadel, Roman ruins etc. It felt safe, comfortable, easy. My partner and I were visiting on a tourist trip and it was our first time in the Middle East so I was nervous, and it couldn't have been a better start. It was easy to drive to from the airport and the staff helped us park the car safely. The staff were very accommodating, on the desk 24/7 for late arrivals, and happy to offer advice about the city, restaurant recommendations etc. We went back again at the end of our trip and looked forward to it - thank you Sydney Hotel! (PS the free water on offer 24/7 is filtered and safe to drink).

Very good location, just few minutes walk to the downtown or Rainbow street. The room was big, comfortable and nice looking (we had 2-beds room). We had rented car and we didn't have any problems to park it very nearby (the hostel also sent us instructions where to park after I made booking). There is a small parking lot in front of the hostel (for about 4 - 5 cars), but it is possible to park for free along the street). Very good value for your money.

The breakfast is basic (classic jordan food - arabic and toast bread, hummus, cucumber, tomato, chees, butter, jam).

This is a guaranteed place for your stay in Amman with an international/modern feeling; I stayed there for more than 10 nights all together and everything went really smoothly. 1. The young boys and girls that are working in the reception are really kind and helpful; thank you guys. 2. Bed in dormitary is comfortable. 3. There is heating in common area for many hours during the 24h; also ask the receptionist to turn the heat on in the dormitary for a comfortable warm sleep. 4. Hot water for shower available 24h. 5. Common area is a great place (also nice decorated) to sit and eat the food you bought from outside/relax/do your computer work/socialize. 5. There are tours for the famous sights in case you want to join.

The following are REALLY MINOR things, mainly SUGGESTIONS so that this place could be even better in the future. 1. 8JOD for a dorm bed is NOT EXACTLY cheap; you can try other cheaper hostels in town (for 5JOD or 6JOD) to check if there are good enough for you. 2. For a place like that and for its price, it would be nice if they offered a FREE towel (which is always welcoming and a must in international style places) instead of renting it for 1JOD (which is rather too much). 3. There is a buffet breakfast for 3JOD which looked really nice (I did NOT take) but have in mind that a local breakfast ( humus+falafel+salad+2-3breads) in a local place like my favourite "Rouhi AlAqili" (find it in GOOGLE MAPS) is just 1.10JOD. So it's your choice.

This stay was all perfect for me. To begin with, the hostel organized an airport pickup for me, even at 4am in the morning! The guy that did the nightshift was very welcoming and helpful, showing me to my room quietly and answering all my questions. The rooms themselves were clean and spacious. I stayed in a female dorm the first night and my fellows were very quiet and respectful leaving the room quietly jn the morning while I (and one other girl) was sleeping till 11am. Even the cleaners waited until we got up and went out. The second night I stayed in a mixed dorm with 3 other guys. I loooved this room. It had wood at the front- and backside of the beds and curtains for more privacy (in mixed dorms only). I had my own plug and a light. This is suuuch a cool feature! I also had good space for my stuff, a locker assigned to me in the room and an AC. The wifi worked perfectly. I could even upload my photos to the cloud!! that’s rare haha. On my last day, they were happy to keep the luggage for me even after checkout. All in all I felt extremely comfortable there and would love to return and stay there again. btw showers were hot and toilets clean.

In terms of location, the Hotel is situated in a convenient location that is close to many popular attractions, restaurants, and shops. Guests can easily explore the city on foot. Overall, I would highly recommend the Sydney Hotel.

Sydney hotel exceeded all my expectations, every detail of this hotel is amazing starting from its excellent location. I mean from there you can walk to a number of amazing attractions such as the Roman Theatre, the Citadel, the Amman Armat Museum, the Duke's House, and also walking in Prince Mohammed Street, which is packed with famous restaurants and bazaars, and also it is close to Rainbow Street. loved the guys on the reception desk, they are so kind and lovely :) The hotel interior design is fabulous, it is like an art museum, there is also an amazing back yard with a swing, I booked a bed in a female dormitory and the room was big and clean. The breakfast buffet was so tasty with verities of different dishes :) Thanks for everything, I would definitely stay there again when I visit Amman.

Only one minor thing in room 113, the shower holder need to be tied properly because when the water flows out, the handle goes toward the wall so I had to hold the shower with my hand to control the water flow direction :)
