Boma Inn is great value for money: for the price of a budget hotel you have free access to the facilities of the 5* Boma Hotel in the same compound -eg swimming pool, Secure &Peaceful location surrounded by greenery, handy for JKI, the SGR, National Park etc. Easy taxi ride to centre depending on traffic. Friendly, welcoming and efficient staff. Local supermarket. Owned by Kenya Red Cross so your payments support the NGO's work.

Well, the treatment and service I received was excellent. The reception worker by the name of Malcolm was very professional, attentive and welcoming for my entire stay at the hotel. His professionalism and friendliness, along with the other hotel staff, was the reason I came back to extend my stay at the Boma Inn.

Hmmmm, well to be honest, all I wish was the hotel had a small kitchen in it. Cooking small meals would have been exceptional for me. This way, I could really could have extended my stay for 1 to 3 months or longer. I will also say that I enjoyed the gym there at the facility as well.

The staff was incredibly accommodating. Not only for myself but I witnessed it on multiple occasions with fellow tour travelers and other guests. Watching interactions, they were always cordial and staff worked hard to solve problems. Rooms were very comfortable food was excellent. Gift.shop was.fabulous. cheaper than any of the places we stopped on the tour and high quality items. Also LOVE the fact that all profits for the hotel.comex.go to the Imternational.Red Cross. It's a fascinating history and I think they should advertise it more.

Location was not really walkable to see the area.

This was 1 of several times I stayed at the hotel...around the middle of my trip. The room was good size, the bed was very comfortable and telaxing...I enjoyed a couple nice long showers and especially enjoyed the breakfast every morning...They always were very friendly during my checkin....and helpful when I had a question to ask and usually had the answer. I enjoyed the gift shop as well they had wonderful items wether it wad t-shirts or beaded bracelets...even postcards.....I wouldn't hesitate to stay again at BOMA INN...a very nice place to stay and close to all the places I needed to go to....thanks again to everyone on the staff....good job...Jay Thamery

The simple fact that my wonderful long enjoyable safari eventually came to an end....

The Hotel facilities were wonderful, clean and with exceptionally helpful staff. The Gentleman who drove me to the airport was on time ( 5am) , very helpful and friendly ( Mr Kemboi ) I will definitely recommend this hotel . The proximity to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is also a great thing because you do not have to experience the Nairobi traffic Jam when you are heading to the airport.

They have a charge for early check in so for me who arrived at 8am , I had to wait outside until 2 pm with all my sleep in the compound. Other than that, the rest of my experience was great especially due to the high level of cooperation of the staff.

Breakfast was perfect, everything you could wish was available.

During our stay one of the two restaurants was closed for refurbishing. The second restaurant was OK but during 4 days we would have liked some more alternatives. As in many restaurants in Kenia, the time between ordering and serving the food was longer than we are used to in other continents.

Very friendly staff, great WiFi (much better than expected) close to the Fiveteen Rooftop Bar and Restaurant where you can get high quality food with a great view over Nairobi or the Nairobi Park at very low costs for such a location. Recommendation is to use Uber instead of Taxis anywhere in Nairobi as a 8minute drive is only 190KSH

Taxi drivers at the airport charge massively high fees, nothing to do with Hotel but get an Uber at the Airport. The drive to the Hotel is less than 10 Minutes.

We were upgraded to Junior Suite which was great. The room was very clean, spacious, with a good bathroom. The reception staff, especially Anthony was super helpful and friendly. He helped us find out exact directions to go to Hell's Gate by public transport and even kept checking with us on WhatsApp when we went if we were ok. The inn is connected with bigger boma hotel, so has access to facilities such as pool, sauna, gym, steam room etc, which were amazing especially at the Boma Inn prices. AC worked well and provided respite from the heat.

Wifi was spotty and slow in the room and only worked good in the lobby or in the bigger boma hotel

Conveniently located with 24-hour check-in and easy airport access. It has clean, well-furnished rooms, adequate for short stays. Also has direct access to Boma Hotel for a delicious buffet breakfast and other facilities. Overall, good value.

Perfectly clean. Yes, the furniture is not the newest one but it did not matter to us. The price is very good - you cannot expect some luxury for such prices. You get what you pay for and the value for money is very good. Also the location is good, very secure complex. You can have food in nearby 5 star hotel, also use the gym (we did not).
