The rooms are run down. It is mismarketed as a 5* hotel. The grounds and the staff are but not the rooms. The showers are hot and cold, the basins are blocked, the toilets leak urine when you are sitting down, there was a flood in Mr Kukadia’s room as the toilet got blocked and the roof leaked in my room when there was a bit of rain. The management is hopeless. I could go on. I would like a refund.

Very interesting interior, the houses were constructed in 1800s but they are in a perfect condition. Fire place, interior design and cool arts on the walls making it feel cozy.

This hotel was a superb start to our honeymoon I'm Kenya. Everything about it from the welcome to the room to the food to the safari was perfect. We were with our 9 month old so everyone was very accommodating & we found it a comfortable stay for all of us. Bonus for our room was the fireplace & having it lit every night & hot water bottles in our room. The hotel is beautiful with gorgeous grounds & they're very organised for the game drives. Many thanks to Samson who we communicated with. & there's an animal orphanage on site. Kamata our driver was fantastic & we really enjoyed the game drive who did his best for us to see lions & giraffes! We did a closer & half day game drive as more suitable for baby. All the staff in the restaurant were great, special mention, Angelique. Definitely visit again if we go back to that part of Kenya again.

Only thing that could make it better is if the pool was heated. Would have been great to go for a swim with the baby.

The breakfast was so beautiful and yummy, the staff made everything warm and magical. My husband and I thanked everyone for going above and beyond. Cynthia Elizabeth and so many more.

Grounds are magnificent with plenty of activities at the hotel and close proximity to amazing safaris. Rolling hills with the stunning Mount Kenya in the background combined with roaming wildlife and activities make the hotel worth staying at for at least part of the trip rather than spending all day at safaris.

the location was outstanding and perfect. The view of Mt kenya and few animals coming till the lobby and kids enjoying it was fabulous

the room was super cozy. didnt know as per the photo that its going to be as such. another thing i didnt like was the staff had to call them twice or thrice to get the work done.

The facility is excellent, comfortable, and the staff very friendly and courteous, and they treated us very well. The food is fantastic! I can't wait to book my next stay at the same place!!

Just the showerhead holes. Don't get me wrong, the water pressure and temperature are perfect, but the showerhead holes probably need to be cleaned out to unclog them for good water flow. The water was splashing all over. And probably have a TV set in the bedroom area above the fireplace, not just the lounge.

Everything. It is situated at a most lovely location, with Mount Kenya in the background. The service was excellent.

We totally loved the stay.It was totally amazing.the ambiance was great, the staff were so kind and happy to assist and make you settle in. The food was so good.

I loved the rooms best, the town-down was just the magic for me. It was so cozy and made my most memorable holiday.

Quite, peaceful ,tranquil environment with great views of Mt Kenya. Excellent breakfast experience, lunch and dinner fabulous . Large open spaces ,large pool .

Retro fitted e-bikes ….better quality e bikes should be on offer .
