Excellent value. It’s an older motel so the structure is, well, older. But the furnishings are updated and nice. It was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable.

We didn't eat breakfast, however it was available. The location was great. Shopping and restaurants are in walking distance. The rooms were updated nicely.

Property manager went above and beyond to accommodate our crew and make sure our stay was pleasant. She keeps a close eye on everything happening on the property and doesn’t put up with nonsense. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Especially clean, newly refurbished, no carpet makes it feel much better. For the roadside hotel it was the best I’ve ever been. (And I’ve been to too many)

Breakfast could have some bread too, now it is only sweet stuff.

Good location, not far from the waterfront area and a short drive to ECU. The owner is the best!

There was a pretty decent gap between the bottom of the exterior door and the door threshold that allowed cold air in. It probably is not an issue in the summertime but it did get chilly overnight in December. It wasn’t a huge deal to us, we had the heat on.

Clean and comfortable beds! Also not noisy and in a great space

The electricity may be having an issue because the power on the fridge kept tripping causing it to freeze and unfreeze which resulted in water on the floor at random times!

When you pay this price you expect mediocre but adequate. However, this was decently renovated, very clean, exceptional value. Bed was very comfortable. NO BUGS. We tear apart every hotel we stay in and check for bugs and there were none. They call this 2 star but I have stayed in 4 star hotels that were not as good.

The ONLY thing that bothered me is the location. Kind of hard to get in and out of but I would never let that change my mind about staying here.

The front desk staff was nice. I asked for extra towels and they seemed happy to meet my request. Nice size room actually. Overall, clean and no bugs. Lastly, grateful to find a decent room & affordable price for the ECU Family weekend!

The picture quality on the TV wasn't the best. The AC was loud when it came on. I was surprised there wasn't a stopper for the sink.

Breakfast wasn’t for a diabetic and the last night we came into the room the air conditioning was turned off, no fresh towels.

Once again, pleasantly surprised at our stay here. Well renovated, clean, NO BUGS, great staff. Should be at least 3 star Hotel. I will stay here again. This was our second stay.

The ONLY thing I don't like, and this is getting nit-picky, is the location. The driveway is hard to get in and out of. But this will never stop me from staying here.
