I liked the cleanliness and attentive, friendly staff. Swift service. It was very clean and a good location to the local beaches.

The king room with pullout couch for 3 people was extremely small. Probably smallest room ever stayed in and didn't expect it to be that limited of space. We were a little on top of each other. Wish the rooms had balconies but understand that is how hotel was built. Outdoor pool on site was closed for the season. For the amount of money for the weekend I at least expected pool and a bit bigger of a room.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Sonesta is not a luxury hotel, but it is certainly the nicest among the hotels in the area. The beds were clean and comfy. The layout is a bit cramped in some spots, but overall it meets the needs of a place to sleep and shower.

The little bar restaurant downstairs was listed as being open until 10pm, but there is nothing there. The food options for the morning were served in the bar restaurant, but not much better than what you would get at a standard continental breakfast at any other hotel and it was an additional cost to boot. I think if Sonesta can fix up that eating establishment, it would make the place much more appealing.

The gentleman who greeted me when I arrived rather late at night, addressed me by name when I entered. Despite having kept him around for my late arrival, he was exceptionally friendly and hospitable. Also, the room was clean and larger than expected.

The front desk receptionist was unwelcoming and had a bad attitude. It was late (11pm ) when we checked in, but we checked in late in other hotels and never had an experience like this. We needed to book another night for Friday but opted out of choosing Sonesta because of her Also there were strange man parked in the parking lot sleeping in camper vans so we were uncomfortable unloading our car there . 2 single women….. Not a great set up

Great hotel! Rooms and public areas were spotless, quiet. Very comfortable bed. Small refrigerator and microwave were nice touches. Very nice decor. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location excellent; easy access to Garden State Parkway. Highly recommended. I’ll be back!

Very clean, nice accommodating staff.

Booking.com shows that the breakfast opens at 6, but it actually opens at 730 which was a huge problem for us since my daughter had a tournament down the road at 715. The staff was more than accommodating to help us get the food we already paid for through Booking.com.

Inclusion of a brief morning coffee station would be appreciated rather than just the tiny machine with powdered cream substitute in the room.

Staff was very friendly and courteous.

We had to wait for room because of short staff which is understandable during these times. It was a little stressful having to rush shower and get to dinner on time.

The bed was soooo comfortable. The room was very clean Front desk was super friendly and helpful
