When we booked through Booking .com, it was showing " everyday service" of room as a facility but when we reached hotel, they told us that they will charge $ 50 for first cleaning and change of sheets after third night. We spoke to them about the facility promised at the time of booking - so they did room service after the first night but forget totally after second night ( not even tea/ coffee/ milk replacement) - we managed and then they did full service after third night. I think there is a bit of glitch between what you promise at the time of booking vs. what there standard services are - I believe it can be resolved. We are quite accommodative - except for this everything else was good including staff, courtesy, breakfast etc.

We had the most amazing time in Queenstown staying at the Hilton. It worked out easier staying here for a longer duration of time due to how busy town was and how close this was to Remarkables mountain. All the staff were so professional and helpful, there is a booking table/staff for any activities you want to book during your stay including lift access and/snow gear hire - saves you the headache and it doesn't cost you more. The food at the restaurant was so delicious, our room was spacious and even a partial view of the lake was so beautiful. The location is more isolated however that means more scenery and less noise. Having access to the pool, hot spa and sauna after a day on the slopes was so helpful, and not to mention a beautiful professional spa on site. We absolutely loved our stay!

If you are staying at the Hilton then you should already be prepared for things maybe costing a little extra, like parking which is $16/day and food (which is well worth it). There aren't many options for food outside of the hotel or shops to access, so having your own vehicle is recommended.

Great stay! Beautiful location, comfortable room. Great breakfast, and dinner at Stacks. You can catch the water taxi straight outside if you wanted to go into town

Just a few things, didn’t really actually bother us but for anyone else to take note of.. The hotel is a bit of a maze. The reception is down a windy road to that left in what looks like an underground car park. Parking is free if you park back up the top of the windy road which we did, you have the option to pay or find your own. Our room didn’t have any info in it so we had to guess where everything was and didn’t know what time anything was open till. Would have been great to look at some menus, water taxi info ect. Room wasn’t super clean. Fingerprints, stained couch ect. We had a great stay nonetheless :)

The view is absolutely stunning, so nice to wake up to every morning. We were very kindly given a free upgrade on check in meaning we got a kitchen allowing us to cook, working out well as there is only 2 restaurants in the area unless you want to go across to queenstown. The room was very spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and any issues were swiftly sorted (such as WiFi not working). The pool and saunas were lovely and heated and free to use. Excellent stay.

Some features of the room felt a little outdated for example paint peeling and old carpet. This could do with brightening up. Very close to the airport so be mindful if you are a light sleeper. Other than that lovely stay. Hint: an emergency siren goes off occasionally, on asking this is to summon volunteer fire crew, not to alert guests of any emergencies!

We stayed two nights, part of our honeymoon, and I do not know where to start: The restaurant was perfect, the service exceptional and caring. The food was delicious with reasonable prices. Room: clean, big, comfortable. It made us feel at home. Service reception: perfect. Special thanks to exceptional guest experience thanks to Sophia: she was professional, kind and very helpful and made our stay amazing!!

The only thing that should be improved I think it is the conversation within the booking app: we asked for a suggestion regarding Milford sound and did not receive any. Unfortunately we booked with Headout (not having received any information from the hotel) and it was a horrible experience. Maybe if we had received a feedback from the hotel in the app, we would have avoided this bad aspect of our journey.

pool area lighting in room especially the bathroom as you couldn't do your make-up and light by the wardrobe was too dark to see what you're wearing more natural light bulbs would be awesome. options to change pillows would have been good. bigger size robe options would be awesome.

Nice hotel with lovely staff. We happened to get a room with a pretty good view despite not paying for one. Good pool/spa facilities separated into male/female sauna/steam room - had to time using the pool well as there were lots of families with young children staying. Breakfast was great. Easy water taxi into Queenstown if a little pricey, $10pp each way if you get a Bee card.

We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant in the evening as they seemed like quite big, expensive meals. There was only really one other option for easy food (bar snacks, burgers, pizzas etc) on-site but it was closed on the day we tried to go. We ended up getting a takeout delivered which was pretty easy. But if you were intent on eating out you might need to plan to head into town in the evenings.

It’s a beautiful property, large quiet rooms, great views. We love the Wakatipu grill for breakfast and dinner - the food is really good, best buffet. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

We love where it is located for peace and quiet but guests need to be aware of the additional cost necessary to get to and from Queenstown. The water taxi is good but $14 pp each way - adds a lot to going out to dinner! Perhaps the Hilton could confided offering some of deal with the water taxi company to have it included n the room price?

amazing stay at the Hilton!! we were greeted as soon as we arrived and offered water and help with our bags. Abhinay was amazing and so helpful, he helped us with our bags and showed us where everything was, great asset to the team, thankyou for all your help. an amazing surprise we got a free upgrade to our room which was soo luxury 😍 the beds were so comfy, the fire place was so cute! the food at the restaurant was soo nice and we ended with a cocktail around the firepit. we got a massage too which was amazing!! there was also a water taxi which took you to the center! it was our last night and we wanted to enjoy the upgraded room I would highly recommend staying here definitely 5 stars

The rooms are very good. Reasonably sized, with that Queenstown timber/rocks/fireplace cosy kind of atmosphere. Bathrooms are fine. The views are to the north and from that side of the lake there's less to see, but you still get a view of the lake.

The location isn't great if you're trying to get into Queenstown itself. It's close to the Remarkables and the eastern side of the lake, but traffic getting into town can be bad and it takes a bit of time. There's also minimal shops around the hotel too (I think there was one cafe maybe?)
