We stayed for 3weeks and we had a wonderful time. Though the hotel was bit old in a sense that it’s been too long in business. The hotel was clean and well maintained from the rooms, lobby bar and pool. The property had given attention to all areas of the hotel including the garden outside may not be not significant to others but salute to the management how every morning someone is always cleaning the garden and taking care of the plants. The food and breakfast options were excellent. Above all these the staff really made a difference in our stay. From the security, housekeeping, waitresses in the lobby and waiters in the restaurant who always greet us with a smile. Joe in the restaurant always remember how we want our coffee made, and how they remember our names made us felt like home.

On the whole our 9 day stay was excellent, the breakfast buffets were second to none(free with our deal), the staff were wonderful and often went out of their way to see we were happy in our stay. We did enjoy the Christmas meals and the visit by Mr and Mrs Santa gave our young daughter a big thrill. As our stay went over New Years Eve the fireworks provided by the hotel were spectacular when viewed from the hotel windows along with the rest of the city's contribution.

Only had one real problem with our room and that was the air con controller was broken and stuck on the coldest temperature so to keep our room at a nice comfortable temperature we had to keep turning it off then back on when it got too warm.

This place, this hotel, the staff, my heart is exploding with gratitude and happiness over how we've been treated. Robert in main pool bar (my god what a man!!! The customer service, absolutely out of this world!!!!!!!!!) Jovi in Lobby (organised the best and most memorable Bohol experience for us, so considerate of our safety during this) and Kaye in pool bar (everyone was amazing, just these 3 really stood out for us) could not thank them enough for the incredible customer service we have experienced, I've never felt so welcomed in my life. My face literally hurts from smiling. The kindness and attentiveness is beyond what I've ever had. Would 100% come back. COME HERE IF YOURE IN CEBU!!!!!!! You will not be disappointed. And of course the food is phenomenonal on top of all the rest. Just, thank you from the bottom of our heart Marco polo cebu!!!! Best holiday of my life, so sad to leave these people!

Nothing to fault.

Complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent, room was well-lit and conducive for working with a good desk, chair and desk lamp and fast, reliable internet, bed was comfortable. The pool was really nice. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Room service was great, fast service and delicious food, particularly the pizza and the lechon kawali. The mango cheesecake from the hotel lobby cafe was amazing, we had it 3 times!

The bathroom could be improved (water would come out of the shower area, there was no space under the door so every time we opened it, it would bunch the mat up, needs more hanging racks/hooks, just little things that would make a noticeable difference) and the room could use some more well-placed outlets. Lounging furniture at the pool really needs to be updated as the umbrellas are moldy and in pretty sad shape. No covered parking (we ended up with ants, leaves and flowers all over our car), and whenever there was an event at the hotel the parking area would always be very full.

food and Beverage a bit too pricey

Great Hotel, new and modern, rooms are great and all facilities work well. Staff is nice and helpful. view form my room was great and as expected. Room service food delivery was great and very reasonably priced. Actually a meal for 4 cost me less than a breakfast for 2.

The only problem is its located in the middle of nowhere and even to go to a 7/11 to buy drinks and snack you much hail a taxi both ways. There are zero places to eat around the hotel and nothing in walking distance. That is the only compliant I have. Well actually the breakfast is way too expensive for the quality they serve.

My wife and I travelled for a get-away to rest and relax and we did in in comfort at the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu hotel. We liked everything from the hotel staff to the room and bed comfort, hotel services and spa massage. The buffet breakfast was superb as was the concierge with readily available taxi service. The hotel location in Cebu city made our shopping and church travel quick, easy and inexpensive. We definitely will stay here again.

Nothing could have been better.

I loved my overall experience with Marco Polo. I experienced TRUE hospitality during my 2-night stay with the hotel. From the reception, to the room service, to the dining buffet area, to the bar (shoutout to the tall guy barista in the pool who entertained my questions about the wine, he even offered me to taste the wine - a true hospitable staff!) and the pool - every staff treated us with respect. They accommodated us like true guests and didn't discriminate us despite having lots of foreigners in the area. I loved how we were treated equally. We will definitely be back for another staycation. Everything was perfect.

First of All. I Booked 5 rooms for a special Valentine’s Day for my sister and nieces and nephews. The most I like the property are! Excellent Atmosphere, Very Clean, Front View are great! But not in the back view. 🤩Stuff’ they are very friendly and specially the front desk and also the restaurant crews.

the only thing that I didn’t like it! it is way to far from the shopping mall and club and sports bar and it’s hard to get a ride or a taxi. Big huge buildings with a small swimming pool. The Bathroom no exhaust fan and no bidet shower for after using a toilet. The food are very expensive. one person can’t eat worth that much. 1,200.00 each person .But it’s ok no choice.

The food was great, although on the pricey side but was worth the spend. Very spacious room and nice view of the city. Very friendly and hospitable staff, we were worried about not being able to catch a taxi at 5am to go to the airport but they were able to assist us with having a taxi ready (just called the night prior to arrange it).

No bidet and fan in the bathroom/toilet. Difficult to contact the telephone number to request for an early check-in and never got a reply through email or the booking.com app so had to make other arrangements to adjust our travel instead.
