I had already been to the Gems many years ago. The spaces are always comfortable and welcoming. The staff is very kind and helpful. The staff gave me a free upgrade from a standard room to a suite. The Gems is one of the few hotels in Beirut that still offers breakfast included. It is not a breakfast like that of some years ago but considering the period that Lebanon is going through I appreciate the effort to maintain the service. The same goes for the attention to detail in the room. Overall a great experience. Hamra always the best area to stay central in the city and reach any service. Thanks to the staff. See you soon.

The location: close to restaurants, and supermarkets, easy to get to the airport. Staff are excellent, and the room upgrade is a plus.

The rooms facing the main street get very noisy at night, on certain days, due to the bars and restaurants across the street. When we asked the front desk to move us to the other side they were very understanding and accommodating and gave us an equivalent room on the opposite side. Very comfortable, and quiet.

The place is wonderful, close to the sea, near health recovery facilities, very close to shopping, truly a fantastic location!

Nothing bothered me. The staff was exceptional, especially the reception team, particularly Mr. Ryan and Ms. Karen. To be honest, all the reception staff were amazing and very kind.

I arrived in the morning, but not only did the nice staff give me an early check in, I also got a nice upgrade. The room was superb. With the hotel being in a central location between busy Hamra Street, the Pigeon rocks and the corniche I had a great location for exploring the central parts of the city on foot. I was really pleased with the hotel and will probably stay there again when I go back to Beirut.

The internet worked fine, but could have been a bit faster.

Excellent location near to most tourist attractions and there are plenty of local shops,resturants at the doorstep. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They upgraded my room on arrival. The hotel is spotlessly clean.

The breakfast was just the basic, expected more options and varieties from day to day. A good cup of tea with breakfast is probably an essential start of the day to most Arabs.

The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, the evening shift in particular, going out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. They even gave us an upgrade to a larger room when we arrived. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was comfortable with handy equipments, was upgraded to suit by Karmen (BIG Thanks) and the rest of the staff; I am writing this late and forgot the names (sorry guys). Looking forward our next visit :)

Nothing was wrong - wanted to stay longer, this hotel makes you feel like home.

Location, clean , breakfast, comfortable bed I got an upgrade to a nice suit for free☺️ The lady in the reception was really nice and smiling the whole time.

One of the receptionists was not a welcoming person, in many times he did not answer my greeting!

everything was fine the room is super and clean they upgraded us to a suite which was very nice the breakfast was served hot and fresh everyday the staff are cooperative and friendly and it’s in the middle of al hamra st which is close to everything in Beirut

They made a free upgrade and my room was big. It was a 1+1 studio with a small kitchen. It was a comfortable stay, there’s no electricity cut, the location was good, the wifi wasn’t that good but it was working
