The room is clean and the location is strategic in the heart of Georgetown. Can just walk to Komtar and nearby shops

Need to change the toilet bowl. Its uncomfortable to sit. Maybe the design of the seat cover not suitable

The hotel was in a good location a short walk from George Town, and lots of restaurants and bars, as well as super close to both the ferry terminal and bus terminal. Nice clean room, comfy bed, decent shower. Enjoyed the rooftop bar

We stayed over Chinese new year, and because of this the restaurant was closed during our stay, which we weren't told about when we checked in. The water in the shower never got very cold, which was a shame when trying to cool down from the heat of the day.

The bed was King Size and were super comfortable. The room and toilet was clean. Location was very strategic and within walking distance to many famous food spots (<1km).

On the 2nd day of my stay, 23/07/2022, I requested for 2 new bottles of water for our second day because I don't like to request for housekeeping. The girl didn't bother to acknowledge me standing there while her colleague immediately told me to direct the questions to him instead. I was told to refill my bottle with their coway machine because they don't provide new bottles of water unless you request for housekeeping. (seems like a pretty ridiculous house rule and I given the answer in a very unfriendly way although I was just enquiring - I don't think I am giving them a hard time by asking "Could I have 2 bottles of water please?"). Meanwhile, the boy who checked me in on 22/07/2022 had a way nicer attitude, polite and was more suited for customer service.

Great great location. Walking distance (or short taxi ride) to most of the attractions. Great cafés around. Lobby smells amazing, no smell of humidity in the room. I loved the complimentary drink they offer especially after a hot day of city tour! AC worked very well (a big plus)

The bed was super firm. We don’t have back problem and had good sleep nevertheless, but people who prefer softer mattress might find it too firm. The shower cubicle only had glass at 1/2 of its length, so water would leak in the bathroom when we took shower. Sink leaked a little too. We put towels on the floor and it was ok. Housekeeping team was amazing and always made it super clean after.

The receptionist who was also the same customer service officer that I had liaised with upon booking confirmation was very freindly. The kitchen staff too was friendly and had generously given a huge amount of ice for my swollen foot. Love all the immenities, toilet decor, iron/ironborard - everything are fully equipped. The easy check-in and checkout are definitely a kuddos too!

It was a 3 days 2 nights stay, and an almost midnight check in. I found that on my first night, the debsheet had stains and hair strands on the bed. Had requested for a change of bedsheet the next day since it was already very late if i were to request it immediately upon arrival on my first night. - change of bedsheet should be done after every checkouts - it is very unhygienic if it is not..

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Georgetown. On the ground floor, there’s a Michelin-recommended restaurant offering top-notch food and exceptional service. Across the street, you’ll find Heritage Coffee, an excellent coffee spot, as well as a local market. This hotel could easily qualify as 4-star. It offers all the necessary amenities, including a lockbox, iron, laundry service, umbrellas, kettle, bottled water, and complimentary coffee, tea, shampoo, shower gel, shaving kit, and toothbrush kit. The cleaning service is also of a much higher standard than expected for a 3-star hotel. What truly sets this hotel apart is its professional yet friendly reception staff, particularly the senior receptionist with a PhD. He goes above and beyond to assist with any request, offering valuable insights about Penang. His genuine care for both the guests and the hotel is evident, treating it as if it were his own.

I would personally appreciate brighter lights in the bathroom. Rooftop bar is such an amazing spot but no one comes there because the prices are just too high with very limited offerings. I do not believe such place could be profitable. Introduce happy hours for beers at least and reduce the price to half in the evening. Also great would be to serve cocktails and mocktails there as it even has jacuzzi.

Great location, <1km to most places. Very friendly staff, especially Faisal bhai, who was very cordial. Would stay here if I visit again.

The hotel is well located just next to two malls and near some main attractions. Comfortable room with wardrobe and hangers. Nice bedding which was not too soft. Great spacious shower. The staff was quite friendly and provided advice on what application to download to park easily in Penang. While the hotel has only two parking slots we were lucky to avail of same each time. Overall nice place for a short stay.

The wifi password had to be inputted each time we were back to the room. There was no bellboy with trolley for luggage. Upon check in the staff at reception helped with the luggage but at check out we were left to manage on our own. Definitely not appropriate for a 4 star hotel.

Both my wife and I found the WiFi below par. Very disappointed. Unless we came down to the lobby, one or two of the staff’reaction about the very poor Wifi were either they were not very knowledgeable or fobbing me off to pay a visit to Gurney Plaza (my new I-Phone 15) to find out. That same evening after many attempts I managed to ‘open my online bank account). Our present hotel is 25 floors high and from Day one I cannot fault the WiFi.

More Internet Training for staff and to improve WiFi facilities would go a long way with customers. Best wishes. Thank you.

-Absolutely perfect. Was definitely the best hotel we stayed in Malaysia. -Super clean, daily room cleaning, comfortable bed/pillows, all the amenities etc. -Location was perfect! 5 min from the bus station and 5 minutes from the center. -MOST IMPORTANT: the staff was actually human and caring. Each interaction we had (laundry, questions etc) was perfectly taken care of, and they actually seemed to genuinely care (which is difficult to see in Malaysia) -Would not doubt in staying again

Nothing. Being picky, the AC dries a lot the room. Always woke up with a bit of sore throat.. but this is personal.
