Location is quiet, but still close to downtown. A walk of 10 minutes. Hotel is modern, everything works, and it is very clean.

The airco is much to cold. Outside 33, inside approx. 18! Especially with breakfast there is a need to dress warm. Although we booked throug Booking and we paid at arrival, we he'd to pay a sum of 50 RM cash as a kind of deposit. Strange and it meant an extra transaction at checking out. The elevators only work with a room key. To any floor. This is a hassle because you also need the key to have electricity in your room. Anyway at some point I was forced to take the stairs, but it turned out that I got more or less locked in the staircase, because entrance to some floors (e.g. floor P for breakfast) was locked. Unhandy but more severe: very unsafe!

Clean, modern design. Check in check out is fast. There is a small cafe/grocery store at ground floor so can buy coffee/snacks conveniently, but not open early mornings so if you are not taking the breakfast buffet better buy something the day before. Staffs are polite. Overall pleasant stay.

The aircond is a bit warm. Would love it if it is a little cooler. I think this is Ibis group policy maybe, went to Ibis in another state also same. Can't change it, only up to a certain level. Also, for Muslims there are no warung makan nearby on the same street, have to cross the very busy street which is quite dangerous.

The hotel is very nice and modern, in the lobby there are free games for kids: air hokey, football and playground for little ones. Also at the lobby you can grab a welcome drink or buy snacks/soda at a vending machine at a reasonable price. The rooms are great, have a lot of ammendies, tv has a good selection of movies to watch. The bed is nice and comfy. The shower is great and clean, I have enjoyed its tropical shower with good water pressure The room we booked had a 2 spare rooms with a great balcony as a surprise which we enjoyed a lot. My wife greatly appreciated the capsule coffee machine with free coffee. I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay for families.

The breakfast tends more to Malaysian food, and I would recommend to add a bit more western cousine. Coffee was only Americano, Capuccino, and others you need to pay, but overall breakfast is still nice-had some local food which haven't tried before. Also, I do appreciate omelet and noodles station

Front reception staff very helpful, understood minimal English. Checking in was smooth. Our room had everything we needed in a very compact design. Bed was comfortable, toiletries supplied, mini fridge. We had a meal at the restaurant (was average) as everything else seemed closed on Sunday. Front desk organised taxi for 3.30am to wakaf bharu station to catch the jungle line train.(50 ringgit, bit steep but reliable. We couldn't schedule a grab) Was a 1 night quick stay, but would recommend.

This was my fourth time at the hotel during our KB visits. The staff is nice, and check-in is easy. The room is comfy, and I like the new water filter. The personal welcome card and gift are a nice touch. The café downstairs is great, and it's easy to find food nearby.

Didn't like the slightly stinky comforter and the non-working fridge in the room. Breakfast options were too few; hope they can do better.

It's a Kuala Lumpur-level hotel in Kota Bharu set at a nice location in town, but away from any particular busy location and makes for a rather quiet and pleasant stay. The room I was in faced the town and offers a nice view, particularly at sunrise. The room is well equipped. The TV is glorious and worked well. There is a coffee machine that my French colleague had nothing to complain about, and they also have a UV cleaning device for some reason. I can't comment about the food coz we didn't bother. We were in Kelantan, good food are plenty and nearby.

I find the glass-walled toilet and bath to be annoying and cramped. I shared a room with a work colleague and it was somewhat uncomfortable using the commode and showering with only the frosted glass dividing us. The pillow could also be stiffer but we slept well. Basement parking is very limited to just 10 cars maybe. Be prepared to park in an open carpark next to the building (free tho).

The breakfast menu has somewhat improved! And service has gone up a notch. Thank you!

For the third (or was it the fourth?) time I was given room 1710, which has a set of connecting doors to 1709. The doors are plywood and thin and not noise insulated/proof. I could hear every single word spoken by the guests next door. Or when they snored. Or when their baby cried. Please, change the doors, or have them properly sound-proofed!

Clean, comfortable and spacious room. I booked to stay at their Deluxe Suite. The huge balcony is a real bonus. Food at the restaurant is really good.

The restaurant staff was less attentive when i dropped by for late lunch. Wrong order delivered and my watermelon juice never arrived. One of them was seen to be on the phone constantly. However, the service was top-notch during breakfast.

My kids love it so much! Friendly stuff, Play zone for kids, welcoming drinks, convenient guest parking, 2 nice swimming pool at top floor that can view the city and gym room facilitated with working equipments. Inside Room included drinking water dispenser which can dispense water temperature at my selection! Iron in the room as well!

The Male Staff During Check out. Sombong! Put me in waiting for almost 15 minit. And no eye contact. No manners… Im just asking for late check out, until the supervisor came out and solve the problem.
