Everything went smoothly. The front desk was helpful and attentive. Our room was kept clean and ordered. The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. There was a good selection at the breakfast buffet. Sagir, a waiter at breakfast, made it a priority for all guests to feel at home. The pool was clean and big enough to swim some laps. There were always towels set out. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance. Shopping malls are just a short Grab car ride away. There are a few self-serve coffee machines at breakfast and in the lobby area with cups and accessories laid out for guests to use at their convenience. Coffee is a personal thing. It was not to my taste.

The TV is a good size but it is not a smart TV. It would of been good if I could watch YouTube, Netflix or similar. I tried connecting my Chromecast but it wouldn't connect. I was able to connect my laptop to the HDMI port and watch some of these channels. This was a minor inconvenience.

Nice ambience, clean room and amazing service from reception, housekeeping, concierge and restaurant. Sagir from the coffee house where we had our breakfast was exceptionally responsive and passionate about his role. In a mere 30mins span I saw him gently helping a child onto a child's seat, proactively serving hot coffee to patrons, sweeping a particular area where something has dropped, explaining on the cuisines and cleaning the tables. All done with a big bright smile and contagious cheerfulness. A big pat on the back Sagir for going above and beyond. The level of personalised service from the staffs are almost as good as Park Hyatt Jakarta.Kudos!

Some odours at the corridor which affecting the room. The smell of like dampness or old wet carpet after drying them in appropriately. Not much facilities. Can be better with a bit of games like pool, darts etc for kids and family to play together. As there is no beach etc, should add on a bit of games for family time. Breakfast served was a bit under expectations. The quality of foods could be better for a hotel under Marriott chain. Stay at similar hotel at Canada, breakfast served was much better. Should standardised among the hotel chain

Near to many attractions/f&b. Clean room. Food is okay (7/10). Plenty parking space. Helpful staff.

The toilet is clean and comfortable. However, there's some weird smell coming from it. Not waste kind of smell but more to petai kind of smell. Need better ventilation and automatic scented spray. Also, i requested a birthday package. For the price I'm paying, I'm hoping for more decorations (balloons and petals) and a bigger size of chocolate. I think the hotel needs to put more effort into this package, otherwise its gonna be paying for minimal work.

This hotel is centrally located and is enough to bring u to anywhere within the vicinity. The bed was super comfy and clean. Really like their bedding material. Water pressure for shower is indeed strong. Staff reception counter is attentive and serve u with great hospitality. Bar counter guy Khai is friendly and constantly check on my drinks to see if they are ok. Would definitely stay at this hotel on my next visit

The overall standard of AC Hotel Kuantan is not inferior to hotels in big cities. The counter receptionists had good attitudes, especially Ms. Lynn. She was professional and friendly. She happened to be the one handling check-in and check-out. When checking out, she remembered that I had booked 3 rooms. I originally booked 2 deluxe king rooms and 1 premium king room with sofa bed on the booking.com website, but the counter directly upgraded the 3 rooms to the more expensive premium king room with sofa bed at no additional cost. They also helped arrange 3 rooms side by side so that we could take care of each other. Even the housekeeping staff i met at the corridor was also very polite and friendly. The hotel should be newly renovated and the whole hotel is very new. The room is very spacious, very clean and comfortable, and has large windows that allow outside light to shine into the room. The room has sufficient equipment, a safe, ironing board and iron, slippers, etc. The king-size bed is huge, and the pillows, quilts, and mattresses are clean and comfortable. The toilet cubicles are also very good. I like the bath products prepared by the hotel, which are scented with fruits and plants. The breakfast options are also good, with Chinese, Western, and local food. I would highly recommend AC Hotel to everyone. After staying in the AC Hotel by Marriott, I decided to join their Marriott Bonvey membership programme 😀

Hotel breakfast is a bit pricey.

I love the fact the hotel room was not carpeted means its clean and I can let my son freely crawl around the room. Love the fresh newly smell interior. Though we get a 2 single bed room with a bedside long sofa the room is still spacious. Together with breakfast I bet its the best offer for a 5 star hotel in Kuantan. A very good welcome by the hotel staff as well 👍🏻. Will definitely come back to stay in AC Hotel by Marriot whenever we are in town.

Well refurnished hotel with good location. Near to everything but with less busy surroundings. Bed is comfy and breakfast is lovely. The room has really good scent as well. Car park is free after validation for hotel guests.

Will need a car/transport to move around easier, not really ideal for walking due to the road condition and hot weather. Staffs are overall friendly, except one male receptionist avoided eye contact when I approached him at the counter, another lady from another counter answered my question instead. Furnitures in room are heavily scratched and can easily hear sounds from other rooms n corridors.

we like almost everything. room, comfy beds, extra couch which can turn to single bed for my kid, excellent buffet breakfast spread.roti canai made ready to u upon request and its so tasty. they even have two coffee machines to avoid crowded, so thoughtful! they hv small pool but felt some kind of like heated pool, very nice.(come on weekdays if u want to avoid crowd for ur kids). the hotel is very near to tanjung lumpur and town.

wifi is a bit on the downside. but we didnt ask for any problem as it is ok for us on using own data. we are on a vacay anyway!

My husband and I stayed at 6 different 5* hotels throughout our 1 month stay in Malaysia and AC Mariott Kuantan is the cleanest by far. We were very delighted to find such clean and comfortable room and bathroom. It was the only hotel that has exceptionally clean bathroom, not a single mold or stain on the grout between the tiles! I was advised that the room we got was a newly refurbished room (6033). I really hope that the hotel will keep up the cleanliness standard and maintain a mold and stain free bathroom & toilet. The room is nicely designed and the bed is very very clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread is decent and tasty. I will stay at AC Mariott again when I travel to Kuantan soon.
