I had spent most of the week before in the hospital with Dengue Fever. Great hospital nearby. So although we had a lot planned, we didn’t do as much as we wanted. We slept, went down for breakfast, and used room service. Later in the week we did a few fun activities: a private tour, cruise, walk along the river and some local night markets. It was a perfect place to heal.

The food was not consistent from room service. We never knew how much food we would get and the quality of preparation. There was this amazing cook in the restaurant but then it seemed like different people made the room service meals and food went from a nice size portion to a side portion. Our guess was that maybe the staff was in training.

It was on the river and the location was near everything. Loved the river walk starting at the hotel. They had a couple of staff members. One lady at the front desk and one lady with glasses at the breakfast buffet who were very welcoming and gracious.

You had to walk through the lobby in your swim suit,with coverup, to get to the pool. (never swam at this hotel)… strangest thing though is you are not welcome into the restaurant, even for breakfast, without sleeves in shirts… oh but it is ok to eat in your sleep clothes. This is all very confusing… I try so hard to be culturally appropriate but it is so odd what is and is not acceptable.

Location is excellent due to its riverside existence..Staff members and Supervisor at the reception are amazing..I didn’t see such good people in the reception till now..God bless👍

Breakfast won’t match middle eastern or Indian customers as it’s full of Chinese taste..also no much choices for non-eaters..need to have Indian cuisine too! And one more thing, carpet in the hotel is old and need to replace..all other things are good except d building!

We stayed from 2 untill 17 october in room 528 wich had river view, its is a very spacious room with a big boxspring bed 4 long soft pillows and 2 short pillows, an ironing set is in the room along with a safe a watercooker and a small fridge. excellent stay in this room. The frontdesk Manager Alexander Cox and his stuff do everything with a smile to make your stay pleassant. I would like to use this oportunity to Thank Him and all the staff to have made our stay as feeling at home. the swimmingpool looks great and is located in the garden on riverside. The breakfast has a wide variaty of choice, western food aswell as asian breakfast. fruits coffee and sweets. I rented a car for the two weeks, and the hotel provides parking spaces right in front of the hotel, and there are enough places to park. dispite of other comments who said there was not, but MY opinion was i never had to wait or look for a parking spot. perfect., the laundry service automaticly picks up your laundry as you place it outside yoru door, and returns it the same day. perfect. the room cleaning staff are very friendly and helpfull, everyday fresh towels and watter provided. I have enjoyed satying here above expectations!

The room is nice , facing the sarawak river. The view is excellent. The location is extremely good , its a golden triangle and city centre. Room is very comfortable with fresh bedding and location is great. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Service is excellent too. Fully recommeded. Its a five star hotel ! Before was owned by Holiday Inn International Hotel..bought over by grand margerhita.

The housekeeping didnt send me an extra towel and lotion upon request . As three of us in the room , they knew it 2adult and 1 children, i asked for extra towel for my son, they said yes but didnt send until we check out.

Location is just nice. Visited Kuching a few times, and still stayed at this hotel.

1. The air-conditioning was not quite cool. 2. Limited parking space; often times I didnt get any parking at all and was advised to park at the plaza. 3. I stayed for 4D3N, the breakfast menu was almost the same each morning.

The hotel is conveniently located on the waterfront of Kuching. It has quite a number of services, including swimming pool and lounge open till late and a pleasant perfume welcomes you when entering the hall. The breakfast is very generous in terms of variety of options and quantity. The rooms are very big.

It is a dated building, and the floor of my bedroom (the 9th) still has old carpet everywhere. The corridor is long and not decorated, nor well illuminated, so the impression is rather creepy. The furniture and decoration look patched. The fake orchids as decoration could be replaced by real plants, in Borneo should n9t be difficult to grow plants.

Location, breakfast, and the dining room manager with glasses… I forgot her name. We arrived very late due to issues with airlines not flying due to the volcano exploding in Indonesia. We were lucky to have made this flight! But we arrived very late and were very hungry. The lady stayed open just for us so we could eat. I will never forget how grateful I will always be to her and her staff! Thank you.

The room was very comfortable and worth the price. The beds are very soft and comfy to sleep in. The room is pristine and definitely soundproof. Highly recommend for those who comes with a family of 4 or 5 and friends.

I do have some comments on the breakfast. There were not much variety of food on the day I had breakfast at the restaurant. The staff did not immediately refill on some of the foods and drinks. The lighting in the restaurant also need to be improve as some of the area is too dark. As for room, I wish they provide laundry bag to put our dirty clothes, also provide some coffee and creamer. I hate the fact that I have to use insider club app to order room service. I do not mind about using the app if only they were functional. It really frustrate me that I can't order food from the room as I can't scan the menu using the app they provided.

The room was huge - with great views of the city

Wifi was very hit and miss, you could do with putting in some sound-proofing around the room door, as there was a gap of about 2cm beneath the door, so any sounds from the hallway can be heard in the room. Update the mattresses or at the very least invest in some thick mattress protectors, as the beds didn't have any
