Connecting rooms were great.

The breakfast was crowded with guests and food was not topped up fast enough. A lot of empty containers. The hotel staff could not cope with the large number of guests.

Wonderful Stay at Hatten Malacca Hotel I recently stayed at the Hatten Malacca Hotel in the Junior Suite, and it was a fantastic experience. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with two TVs—one in the bedroom and one in the living area—providing great entertainment options. The living area was comfortable and offered plenty of space to relax. One of the highlights of the suite was the view. Our room faced the pool, which created a serene atmosphere, especially during the evening. The hotel’s central location made it convenient to explore Malacca’s attractions, and being able to retreat to such a comfortable and well-maintained room after a day of sightseeing was a bonus. The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed during our stay. Overall, I highly recommend Hatten Malacca Hotel for anyone looking for a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value.

Some Areas for Improvement While my stay at Hatten Malacca Hotel had its positives, there were a few things that could be improved. The air conditioning in the room was warm at night, making it uncomfortable to sleep. I'm not sure why this happened, but it was noticeable. Additionally, the cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to standard. It seemed like it wasn’t scrubbed properly during cleaning, which was disappointing. The room itself, although spacious, looked a bit old and could definitely use a touch-up to refresh its overall appearance. I hope the hotel addresses these issues, as they would greatly improve the guest experience.

The hotel room was very spacious with a lounge sofa. 2 tvs in every room. The bed and pillow is so comfortable that u can just sleep in. Love the hatten welcoming scent as u enter the hotel vicinity. Very relaxing and welcoming with afew sofas at the lobby for waiting or chilling purposes. This is my multiple repeat stay here and I would say it has always been my no 1 hotel choice in melaka. The staff are all very polite and friendly. I love staying in this hotel. The shopping area is all within walking distance. It is just so convenient.

Recent check in wasn't as smooth as my other trips as I think I have booked more rooms this time. Hope hotel can prioritise checking in for guest with young children, guest with wheelchair or the senior citizen. Other than that everything is perfect.

The room was spacious and comfortable. I like the lighting, gave a feeling of ambiance. The location is walking distance to all the interesting places. Easy access and convenient. There are also more reception counters to cater to those checking in. The process was smooth and fast.

The waiting time for a table during breakfast at peak period a little disappointment. Though they open another hall to cater to the large numbers of guests, the table when seated was without any utensils. Seems the staff are overwhelm with the large guest that came at the same timing for breakfast. The food was quickly top up but some of breakfast menu are repetitive.

The location, the food, the front desk, the lobby security, doorman all are great thumbs up. I would like to say, the service as been up to my expectation. Please keep it up to all staffs/crews invovled to make the guests feel very comfortable enjoyable holiday. Thank you, keep it up 👏🏽

I would like to mention this incident to the management to write in to the authority about the traffic across the mall. Me and my family encounter almost everytime crossing with cars just drive fast and dont even bother to stop, even at pedestrian favour. This is very dangerous, as most of your guests goes to shopping mall using the trafficlights. Please do write in to the authority for their action. Thank you!

Room was as described in the pictures - big room, nice view, comfortable Location is spot on - walking distance to the historical sites and jonker region Staff was helpful - polite, fast, competent and friendly

Cosmetic work needed at some areas - the ceiling of the bathroom looks dilapated - the fridge was not functioning - the key-card entrance needs a battery replacement

Breakfast is a little pricey so we skipped breakfast in the hotel. Location is good, walking distance to the malls. Available carpark. Walking distance to lots of the usual tourist hangouts.

Upgrade of the hotel look and feel in the room would be good. The interior especially toilet is very aged.

The hotel is clean and connected/nearby malls. Our king room is spacious and clean. Bed pillows and blanket are clean, no odour. Housekeeping did a good job in changing the bed and pillow sheet. Toilet is clean with strong water for shower. We did not use the facilities eg. swimming pool, gym, spa, so unable to comment. Buffet wise is plenty of food. Enjoyed our stay in Hatten hotel.

The aircon is set at 22°C, unable to adjust. Lifts need maintenance. One or two lifts required inserting the room card to access the floor, and some lifts don't. We were stranded on 1st floor which is the Gallery, and its like horror movie setting. Run down gallery, with glass door open, stuffs on the floor and flickering light. Worst part, that particular lift kept opening and closing and all lift button are off (no light to show going up or down/just blank). 😵‍💫 managed to get into the lift with a guy inside. Going up together. I hope he is a "real" person. 🤭

I loved the environment and the friendly and efficient staff! Keep up the good work guys! You guys were so much better than a certain barely 4 star hotel that gave me so much grief! Will definitely repeat my stay there with my fiancé ❤️

The fact that room service would enter even if we're not in the room? I mean, we were in our room everytime room service came around, but is that a thing? Hopefully not. But, room service was very polite and efficient and I loved that. Thank you! ❤️

spacious room. nice view. clean sheet. soft pillow. like the interior. huge bathroom and tub that kids really love. the heater works well. curtain in the bathroom. big glass. mirror, a lot of mirrors. great food.

the room was further back. at first, it was kinda scary for my kids, but later they had fun running. the minibar was empty upon our arrival, though there was nothing for us but it filled up after room service following day. we left the room early and expected the room made up when we return around 4, but they just reach the room to clean. not an issue but was expected the room already done when we back.
