Everything was arranged by owner and he was avaliable for any questions via WhatsApp. All staff are very welcoming and friendly and do their best to provide what you need. Though the place is a humble small hotel, but I liked the atmosphere. When we arrived they served us welcome drink and when we wanted to leave, they arranged an early speed boat and they served our breakfast at 0530 that was beyond our expectations. I can't expect them more, they are amazing. My family liked the place and staff behaviour.

Everything was great, but as a suggestion, I preferred to have a refrigerator in my own room. Also a safe box could be really helpful. Internet was not that good but maybe it's because of island infrastructure.

I arrived at the velana airport on the evening and made the booking..hotel contacted me and immediately arrange the next available boat...after my arrival to jatty they were there to pick me ..on the way walking to hotel they explained me everything about island..very polite and very friendly people..the best experience..on the check-in they treated me with a fresh mango juice as per my request and I was surprised by that..the manager and the staff were very professional and help me to carry by laggeges to room..the room was fantastic and well cleaned..Tea..coffee..water kettle..and all the amenities..I was surprised for the money I paid they can offer these..but yes they are...the room was infront of Seaview but sea view is partially visible due to a ongoing government project..but I'm not here to sit and watch the sea...I was very happy with the amount of time they spend on all our questions with their busy schedule..this is my 5th time in Maafushi and this is the best hotel experience I ever had..I highly recommend don't hesitate to book.. staff and the management.. thank you very much.. I will surely come again..

The welcoming of the staff smile and the family environment and hospitality. the rooms were big and comfortable and had great air conditioning. the design of the rooms and the place is cool and nice, the exit to the balcony was cool as well and the public areas - kitchen and balcony were also great for sitting together with others. The staff took care of any request fast and perfectly. It was a simple and not fancy place, but sometimes simple is better, therefore it was well worth the price.

the place is located at the end of the island near the prison and therefore it's a bit far from the bikini beach (but the island is very small so it's worth the price and also it's not that far - 6-7 minutes walk). also, there was some smell of smoke from somewhere near by, which when you sat outside it could bather bit.

The hotel crew was spectacularly attentive. Maldives is a challenging place. Reaching to your hotel and adjusting to the hot tropical climate can take much time. Paradise Retreat manager Suresh created a WhatsApp account for instant messaging and informing for the guests. I traveled all around the world, from Colombia to Russia. This is my first time seeing a small or big hotel have such solid digital compatibility.

The commodities of the room could be better, but because of the complex conditions of Maldives, I ignored the negativities.

The location is great, just in front of the ocean and within walking distance from nice restaurants, cafes and the port. The staff is very nice and friendly and they are always available for any question you might have. They are very flexible to meet the needs of the customer. Totally recommended.

The only low point was the fact that the new extension of the port was under construction so the view was a bit worse than what it will be once the port is finished.

Lovely personel- people were very nice and helpful. For this money we couldn't get any better service and place to stay. Big plus for aircondition and comfy bed!

Serving line for hot food (bains-marie) were Just for decoration I guess cause our breakfast was always served as a continental version on plate- 3slices of white toast, jam, butter, 1 fried egg, small pot of beans/2 sausages, (oatmeal available). I assume the reason is that it wasn't so many people in the hotel when we were there. If someone eats a lot for breakfast- might be dissapointed.

I felt very safe throughout my stay, and the atmosphere truly made it feel like a home away from home. The service was exceptional, with staff always being friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with anything I needed. I genuinely enjoyed my time here and appreciated the warm welcome we received upon arrival. They thoughtfully picked us up from the jetty, making our transition to the hotel seamless. Additionally, they went out of their way to help us with all our queries and guided us in planning and booking activities, which made our experience even more enjoyable and stress-free.

Where do I start. The welcome... Super with a tropical drink. Hansa and Rahoman took care of us like if we were family. And it felt like that. We were feeling like king and queens. They took real care of us to make our stay unforgettable. The rooms were clean. The food was delicious. The cooks, Radju and Mohamed makes really nice food. The location is near the prison and 700 meters from the bikini beach. On the way to the beach is always nice. Feels like paradise, just like the hotel ☺️ We will be back for sure. Nice room with balcony, comfy bed, AC and some hot water. Nice staff.

Breakfast could be a lot better (only industrial sausages and an egg, no fruits etc). But most of all staying six nights I would have appreciated to room to be cleaned once or twice
