I really liked the quality and variety of food. Also the room service is just a perfection. Very clean!

Everything was amazing. But! As a young single woman I come to places like this and pay extra just to be safe(!) and in piece. I really hated when waiters started hitting on me, giving too much compliments, giving a weird notes on my appearance like “oh you sweating” etc. and even when I was politely saying no again and again once I’ve got a paper note while I was having my breakfast from waiter asking me to give my instagram. I understand as a human, but I’m not paying for 4 stars to get this. This is unbelievably inappropriate and made me feel very uncomfortable as I was alone in island full of man personal. I was scared to be rude.

We had a fantastic time at the resort. We enjoyed every single day, the reef was vivid and beautiful. We would like to mention that the hotel has so many hardworking and caring employees, the management should be super grateful. Our special thank goes to the amazing waiter, Chatu from Sri Lanka who made our stay special, decorated our table so beautifully on our anniversary!! He is the best! However all the other waiters were also super, kind, caring and remembering our preferences, thank to Ali (Ayya) as well. Both waiters from Samuga restaurant and nevi bar were super nice!! Big thanks to these hardworking people!! Our room was facing the sunrise side, which was first a bit disappointing due to the harbour style stone pile but in the end we loved it, because there was shade on our terrace but no direct ocean view due to the trees. Here a big applause to our amazing room boy, Hussain who kept our room always clean, coming twice a day, refilling our waters and caring about us. He decorated our room for our anniversary which was so gorgeous!! The food in the restaurant was great, we were only half board and usually had lunch in the bar or ordered in with room service and enjoyed the food on our terrace. Water is free during eating and you can grab a glass of water anytime also in the bar. We had the best virgin pina coladas ever!!! The view was magnificent and the pool was also amazing, we could enjoy the sunset there and grab a beach towel any time in an environment friendly manner:)! Daily snorkelling tour is offered, twice a day, free of charge if you have a full equipment, you must have fins too otherwise you cannot participate, rental is available but a bit pricey. Thank you Nazim, we enjoyed each trip with you! Overall we had the most amazing honeymoon and would loveee to go back to this luxurious resort!!!

The attitude of all the receptionists, they would never smile, they were never polite. We got billed a wrong item, only a minor difference but when we complained they never said sorry and the issue was never corrected. The next day somebody from the management called and confirmed their mistake, said sorry and sent a drink to our room but the final bill was still containing the wrong amount, minor thing but goes on the attitude and approach…the receptionist handled this situation in a mean manner without saying a simple sorry.

We had half-board, and both the breakfast and dinner buffet at Samuga restaurant was very good, with great variety and high quality. Always Indian/Maldivian food options. Fruit station (all meals) had freshly cut papaya, pineapple, local bananas. Egg station (breakfast) made all types of fried eggs/omelettes on demand. Dinner buffet changed the menu every night, so you would not get bored with the same food. We stayed in Vista rooms (top floor), which were spacious and equipped with water boiler, coffee/tea, milk powder and sugar. Housekeeping twice a day ( while you were eating breakfast and dinner), which also delivered drinking water in bottles. The room had a refrigerator, not mini-bar, but you could easily order from reception or the bar. The dive center is very professional, but perhaps too far between trips to manta dive sites. Snorkeling from the beache is possible on both sides of the island. Friendly blacktip reefsharks can be seen every day, plus the regular array of reef fishes. The best reef is on the sunset side. Note that this reef may have low visibility at times, and is quite shallow, just inside the outer barrier reef, and is most comfortably experienced at high tide. The Nevi bar is very relaxed. They have promotions on wine bottles. Price of the cheapest bottles were approx. 60USD (minus 20% discount). Beer was 8 USD for ca. 0,3 liter glasses of tap beer, and 7 USD for can (0,33 liter).

The sea view from our room was to a large extent blocked by foliage and trees, which was a bit disappointing. This was also the case for many of the expensive premium rooms. So if this is an important feature for you, make sure to mention this in your booking request.

The food is really good , well prepared and tasty .It is really a plus . The island is kept as natural as possible you just walk on the sand all over the place , including in the restaurant , the beach is nice .The resort is correctly evaluated for a 4 * resort .

No kids area where to stay and play . A minimal kids zone where to spend some time , at least in a rainy day , should be organized on the island .

-staff was amazing, they go out of their ways to make the guests happy and welcome. There was this one time during breakfast I got up to get more orange juice, but breakfast time was over so they removed everything. One waiter noticed that and brought me orange juice without me asking, I think that sums it up:) -food was very good, both taste and diversity wise -water villas are incredible, we extended our stay for one night for another room but we were given a free room upgrade so we didn’t have to change rooms, it was a very nice gesture -live music was very enjoyable -free snorkeling trips twice a day, which is great to see turtles, sharks, stingrays and all sort of fish -there is probably a lot that don’t come to my mind right now, I would recommend Summer Island to everyone who seek a relaxing and peaceful vacation

-wifi wasn’t very consistent, we bought a sim card so I would recommend that if you plan to use internet a lot

We were in an overwater bungalow so had access to the Hiya restaurant and bar. However if we had not been in that accommodation type, and had to pay extra to go in that restaurant/bar, I would have been very disappointed. It should be made clear when booking what access guests will have to which facilities

Everything! Clear blue waters, beautiful beaches, comfortable room with everything we needed. Great breakfast,lunch and dinner with a lot of variety. A lot of different activities to do. Around 45 minutes from the airport by speedboat. Friendly staff and especially thank you Mahesh for being so kind. It was good that we were able to have a late check out. We arrived quite late and they were thoughtful and left dinner in our room. Thank you!

The last speedboat transfer was at 3 pm and our flight was late at night, so we couldn't enjoy the last hours in paradise. We didn't have a clear sea view but I read the reviews and I knew that not all superior vista have a seaview like the pictures from booking. So if you want a seaview just book a different room.

Liked everything - nice breakfast and dinner, villas are cozy, also great sunset spots (bar, pool, water villa). Recommend Caesar Salad with prawns from in villa dining menu. Snorkeling tours were also available.

When we moved to water villa, we were surprised that breakfast has less choice than in the restaurant for beach villas.

This place is just paradise. ❤Very beautiful, clean and cozy island. Pool is very nice. Food was very nice I can't say it is the best I've had in Maldives but very good (we had buffet breakfast and dinner) 🙂 We were on honeymoon so they made beautiful decoraction to bed and there was fruits and redwine too Amazing ! 😍 Everything was just perfect and our room clean and comfortable. Loved "outside" bathroom with some plants 😍 I need to thank staff for finding my lost wallet. We were about to departing from island and I told I have lost it somewhere. They really found it before departure ! Very thankful ! 😍

I wouldn't like to complain anything in this paradise but only "dislike " was some staff and especially one in food restaurant Samuga. I think he was even rude for us. 😐Some of staff didn't greeted us but that's not a big deal. Have to say most of staff was wonderful and helpful 🥰 Another dislike is when we went to bar to listen Maldivian music night they said we have included 2 free drinks so we can choose. After we had drinks they charched it and it was about 30$. Not very nice. ☹️

Excellent location: only 45 min by boat from Male Magnificent view on the sunset from our beach villa (sunset overlooking ones go under even numbers) The food us quite diverse. And the staff is making sure you have max fun during the holidays: we were there on Halloween and the whole island was decorated creating a fantastic mood. But the true jewel is the diving center: highly qualified team, a great mix of guides speaking almost whatever language: it really made the whole study process for my wife and son very easy and comfy. My huge particular thanks to Natalia, Robin and Daniel! These guys know their stuff The home reef is a great deal of adventure: fish is plenty, nice sharks, rays and morays soon became our best friends Drinks are good. We first considered upgrading to all inclusive, but in this case the selection of drinks is limited to predefined brands. So we remained with original plan and benefitted from the happy hours and promotions - this makes the costof alcohol lower than on other islands we`ve been to on Maldives.

The check in could be faster. Coming after 9 hour flight you don't plan to spend like an hour waiting to get your docs put in the system. However the reception guys tried to make the waiting time more pleasant offering welcome drinks
