Location firstly was perfect for us, right next to the airport, less than 10 min walk! What a wonderful hidden gem of a hotel. Firstly, aesthetically it is just stunning. The conversion of an old, traditional Maltese building into a posh, luxurious, boutique hotel has been done sympathetically, appreciating and retaining the building's features in whatever way possible whilst never compromising on comfort & beauty. I especially loved entering the courtyard for the first time, what an impactful & dramatic first impression! The hotel is a perfect mix of new & old with all the modern comforts such as WiFi, self check in, PIN entries meaning no need for keys and a very cool pool. I love all the little extras that are provided like suncream & pool towels, coffee machine & water. Cherise was very helpful & communicative, enabling the entire experience to be very relaxed. We had an early morning flight so my favourite part was a delicious breakfast being prepared in takeaway form for us, it was really appreciated & made our travel so much easier. Our room was a very spacious double, tastefully decorated and spotless. The bed, towels & shower are all luxurious & comfortable. The wine / game room is super cool too. I only wish we could have been there longer still thank you still for a wonderful, brief stay.

Parking is a little difficult to get but still fine.

I recently stayed at the Talbot and Bons Bed and Breakfast in Malta and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The location is fantastic, conveniently close to the airport (5-7 minutes on foot) yet still quiet enough to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It was the perfect base to explore the island. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my stay. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with all the amenities you’d need for a cozy stay. Overall, Talbot and Bons is a gem of a B&B. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Malta, whether for a short stay or a longer holiday. I would definitely return!

Breakfast was very poor. Maybe because of the season.

Close to the airport (a short walk) and super friendly house manager who assisted us to book at a moments notice when our flight was delayed. Very nice small apartment with a nice bathroom, comfy bed and coffee machine.

Be aware that this property is beside a main road, so at peak hour there is quite a lot of road noise. This didn’t bother us much as we sleep with a white noise machine when travelling which drowns most of the noise out. (Traveler top tip). The heat pumps did not work when we were there, and it was one of the colder days of the year, so we were quite cold in the apartment. (Hopefully this has been fixed after the stay - as we reported it)

Pretty much everything - the hotel itself is great, the rooms are a very good size and original design with all necessary ameneties. Very comfortable bed, good shower and luggage space. Even small things like the air con being in a good position and good dark curtains make the room feel well thought through. The staff are fantastic and always offer to help, or do what they can with you. Breakfast was great, the pool is a nice touch you can lounge by. Communication was fantastic and nice touches with the letter on arrival. Staff, breakfast, management, room, hotel - all positives.

Only 2 downsides - 1 Parking is mentioned as 'yes', but the hotel itself doesn't really have any parking available - you have to find a side street where you can park your car - there are some available, but lots of 'residents only' parking. 2 - The stairwell up and down goes past everyone's rooms and the central courtyard your door faces is where everyone has breakfast. It's metal, people use this hotel a lot for early morning flights - once people start moving suitcases up and down and dropping knives and forks, it's time for you to wake up too.

Absolutely perfect. We booked one night, our plane was supposed to be early in the morning. At the reception the kind girl prepared us breakfast to go for the next morning, that was absolutely amazing. We stayed relaxed , made check out , went to the airport , but suddenly the plane was delayed. We were absolutely lucky to be back and have an opportunity to sleep a bit more . Besides the same girl at the reception allowed us to have breakfast. Absolutely amazing. The hotel is modern. Very cool. We enjoyed this day here, laying in the sun next to the pool.

Close to the airport, parking is possible in the street, staff is friendly and asked us many times if we need anything and also cleaned our room. Pool was clean and towels available, breakfast included and free coffee as well. Big air-conditioned room and big bathroom. A code to enter the room which was perfect, no keys or card needed.

Trash containers stored not far from the pool and it was very stinky all the time. Salt from the walls dropped on my face while sleeping. The dining room tables were not cleaned after breakfast for days.

Location was very good and near Malta airport and you can manage by walk about 10-12 minutes. Staffs were very good and polite. Area was a residential clean area. Breakfast was robust and included every possible option. You can go to Valletta by 88 bus which leaves from a bus stand 5 mins walk from hotel. Otherwise any directions buses you can catch from airport bus stand. You can request for packed breakfast if you are in hurry. I would highly recommend this property. Very good value for money. Rooms were good , AC and swimming pool are there. In the room very good arrangements like mini fridge with drinks, coffee maker and tea making items all were given along with snacks. Complementary 1 litre of water bottle was also provided each day. Which was great!

Nothing as such, toilet was big but the bathing area may be a little small but we could manage.

Nice B&B in a very traditional building in the village next to Malta airport. Perfect if you have to catch an early flight without stress of driving, as it's a 10 min walk to the terminal. Beds were comfortable and our toddler was kindly accommodated with a cot. To are surprise, the power sockets were UK-type, so our EU charger wouldn't fit, but luckily the hotel provided an adaptor in the room, so we managed to charge our devices overnight! As our flight was early in the morning, hotel packed us a breakfast bag with a couple of fruit, sandwiches and juices. Small pool looks nice, but we didn't use it. Coffee machine in the room is a nice plus.

We were travelling with a small child and stroller and due to the traditional building style there are a few narrow staircases from the road till the room (no biggy just 15 steps in total perhaps). Besides the airport, there is not much around the area. Rooms are a bit dark overall, but on the other hand that creates a nice relaxing atmosphere. Parking was a bit tricky in the area, as in front of the hotel it seems to be forbidden and there are not many white spots nearby. Not a big problem in our case, as we dropped the car right after check-in.

The location is amazing for access to the airport, on a 10 minute walk away. The breakfast was very good too, with cold meats, cheeses, pastries and great coffee. There was free coffee and tea in the room too. The shower was excellent and the room looked smart.

It may be close to the airport, but it is not close to anything else. It doesn't have restaurants in the area. We had already returned our car so resorted to pizza delivery, which would have been a 30 minute walk away. There was not a member of staff present often. Be prepared to figure things out yourself! The bedding in our room had holes in. (The rest of the place seemed up to standard, but this had to be mentioned.)

Location at 10 mins walk to airport. Overall comfortable. Staff was friendly. Seft check-in procedure was clear and easy.

Before my planned stay I have sent request for packed breakfast as I was leaving early in the morning (at 7AM). It was not prepared, but fortunately I could pack some food when I was leaving (food was good quality, so I recommend taking the breakfast at Talbot). Luckily this was possible as breakfast starts at 7AM. If I was leaving earlier I would be left without breakfast even though I paid for it. I recommend earplugs (had one) for good night sleep as it is really close to the airport and the planes are audible.
