Everything was excellent from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out.

The bed was dreadful!! I was supposed to get a King bed. However, they simply put 2 single beds together, and there was a massive lump in the middle of the beds so i had to sleep on 1 side. Very disappointing 👎 The pillows weren't good either. They were just like air balloons. Considering how awesome the entire resort is, they really need to buy new beds and pillows!!

Property is beautiful. Live entertainment was great. Lots of little private spaces for a relaxed drink and a very fun bar for a more fun an eventful evening. Bar staff was very good and efficient. Overall the food was very good, especially the buffet. The room was spacious with a great view and housekeeping was efficient and friendly. We had a great stay and would easily recommend this hotel👍🏻

The O-beach restaurants food was a let down. We did get not free water in our room, we found this strange for such a nice hotel, we bought water everyday but only much later in the holiday we noticed that were water-fountains and you could fill up for free. We were not informed of this. I also thought the minibar shop could stock a bit more of a verity.

The ten restaurants provide a lot of meal choice

The hotel has a beautiful modern design, all the amenities you need and there is something for everyone. But what truly makes it feel special is the amazing staff. They are very friendly, provide excellent service and make you feel at home. Another thing we liked a lot was the sustainability concept with the little bulk shop, reusable water bottles and little details. The daily activities were also a lot of fun. We enjoyed all restaurants, especially Kot Nou and the Italian. Another highlight was lunch in the on site street food stall.

Sometimes the food was a bit cold. The beach area seemed a bit busy and too full with beach chairs. I recommend to book in the adult only section if you can, just for the comfort.

A warm welcome from all the staff at The Ravenala Attitude from the moment we arrived, they settled us in to our stay effortlessly. The eco concept was refreshing, enjoyed stocking up our mini fridge as and when required from a selection of items from the tukshop, thus minimising waste. A number of clean and spacious swimming pools that cater all ages. A well preserved beach with plenty of sun loungers, and sports and recreational activities available, many of which are at no additional costs. Paid excursions also available to book, including dolphin watching. A dedicated adults only section available too. Plenty of friendly staff on hand to enjoy beach games with. Special shoutouts to Kevin who kept us in shape with his daily energetic water aerobics class. Yesh for his impeccable and attentive service by the pool, ensuring we always had a drink in hand and the kids were well catered for. Yesh always had a smile and nothing was too much for him, a credit to Ravenala Attitude. The entire Kids Club family were amazing, they kept our children fully occupied with daily events and activities. It's location being in the centre of the resort is great as you can easily access the kids club from wherever you are. The Poz spa and wellness centre has been well designed and you'll find every type of treatment to complete your relaxing stay. The staff there are highly trained and very professional. Taba Gees food trucks offering authentic Mauritian food, which was fresh and delicious.

People leaving behind leftover food beside the pool near the sun loungers which then attract a flock of pigeons and crows. The bedroom could be bigger for a family of 5 and could do with some modernising. Coffee at breakfast could be upgraded. Found it difficult to locate any ice cream for children. If they could have an ice lolly station I'm sure they'd get a lot of happy faces from children and adults.

There’s a lot to do and various activities available organised by the hotel. Staff are all friendly and nice. Rooms are big and spacious. Lovely private beach, fun pool area, recommend the spa.

Food variety wasn’t great and is a bit limiting, you can tell food has been there for a while and isn’t always looking fresh/is a bit stale. Evening entertainment could be improved. Ants in bedrooms and bathrooms (we were a group and had rooms in different building and all had the same problem + a few cockroaches here and there). Wouldn’t recommend if you have limited mobility + elevators for pushchairs to get to bedrooms.

We enjoyed the complex, the room, breakfast and dinner.

Reservations at the restaurants caused us a problem apart from the main buffet restaurant (Mozaik) where no booking is required. The lady at the restaurant reservation desk was most unhelpful. However after insisting to speak to the duty manager, he quickly sorted this and arranged a table at their lovely Italian restaurant. He even went over and beyond to come to the table and appologise and gave us a complementary bottle of wine. That meant so much to us and we had a lovely meal and a most enjoyable evening. It is important that you book restaurants 24 hours in advance which we did not know at the time.

The facilities and location are very good with lots to do.

At the restaurants meals are ordered via your phone on a code. The internet is patchy and ordering meals can take a long time. Some of us had finished our meals before the others received theirs. The breakfasts were good but average at all the restaurants we ate at. Some service was good but mostly service was slow at the restaurants.

The resort seems to be understaffed for the amount of people staying there. Breakfast was chaotic, food ran out and not replenished, coffee machines were broken. We booked a table at one of the restaurants for 8pm and were told to come back in half an hour, because the poor guy was on his own and 7 tables had turned up at the same time. Also bookings for the restaurants run out very quick, we ended up having room service for two evenings.

it is a bit tired and needs some work in places. after Covid i have sent this with a few hotels.
