My wife and I were in room 111 for a week. It had a great view, nice large room with sofa and balcony looking at the beach and sunsets, good housekeeping, nice breakfast buffet, nice pools, beautiful garden grounds, great massages at the spa, nice main bar (thanks Yaneesh, Raji, and Nadeep for taking care of us), easy free secure parking. Teppanaki was the best food we had there.

I would not call this a 5 star. We have been to many 5 star resorts and this falls short. Yet the price is similar to other 5 star places. The system they have is convoluted, which slows service way down everywhere. Check in took more than a half hour with no explanation of what’s offered at the resort just checking us in. Their system for services you could not reach directly on the phone but had to go through a service number which made all things like reservations, room service, housekeeping, any questions, much more difficult and time consuming, wasting my time waiting is not what I want to do on holiday.

We have travelled to Mauritius many times, but this resort was in a league of its own. The staff were incredible, sincere and kind. They truly made our stay tremendous. Soonita was a standout for us, and assisted us a lot with meals for our very picky boy. We simply cannot wait to visit this incredible resort again. Thank you so much!!!

The fact that we had to leave...we were truly considering extending our stay - but flights were a problem. We didn't want to leave.

We liked the interaction the staff had with us. They were welcoming, attentive, and quick to respond to our requests. Special thanks to Avi, Yuveer, the golf car driver and Methooza, at Beach Grill, Sébastien and Sheik. They were all professional in their respective jobs by making us feel at ease.

I booked in Booking.com and I fear that the rate applied was a bit on the high side, compared to the prevailing rate of that day.

Room was as expected, spacious and real nice. we had one on the ground floor with view to sea and pool. the breakfast buffet had everything on it what you could wish. the quality of meals at the different restaurants was excellent, the staff really friendly and tried to fulfill all the wishes. Some of the sommeliers was very good, they knew their cellar and the wines.

as our room was on ground floor we could not leave the balcony doors open at night, as we were not sure to find one of the many free roaming dogs or cats in our room. the online wine list at the retreat bar was not correct as it listed white wines under red and the staff there did not really know the list.

We‘ve been to many hotels and this one had the best customer service we‘ve ever experienced in any hotel. All were very welcoming, supportive and we felt that they worked with a lot of passion. They make you feel at home while on vacation and exceed all expectations. Out of all employees here are the ones with exceptionally outstanding customer service. First and forememost: Karine Pierre as well as Niv and Joana who made our dream come true to have a vow renewal at the beach. Furthermore, Emy, Shelia, Berty and Darel from the breakfast team; Kavish, Vimal, Preet and Aarty from the dinner team; Nass&Jerome from the pool; Noémie and Kendra from Kids Club; Meva&Reshmi from the room cleaning and Ashvin Beezadhur from security (who did everything to find items we had lost and actually found them). They managed to put a lot of smiles on our faces and we could name many many more. We had a family room which had beautiful view directly a few steps from the beach; room was big with all facilities one could wish for (even one of big beds was designed so that kids could not fall out), with hairdryer, iron, 2 sinks, a bathtub as well as shower; kids club with numerous activities; many activities also for adults changing every day during day and night (eg Creole lessions, shows, live music etc); kids-friendly; free water in rooms ; very good price/service ratio for hotel; spa&fitness room; hairdresser&massage services; presents e.g. also for kids; that it was possible to check in earlier; pools; water sports facilities at boat house; security (one felt very safe at all times); outstanding food quality and diversity (it was very very delicious and we met people who were before at other hotels and they also said the food is much better in this hotel) and much more. A big thank you to the whole team and we can highly recommend this exceptional hotel!

Small detail compared to how great everthing was: In halfboard option, still water during dinner could have been included e.g. at buffet.

-It was our honeymoon and hotel staff remembered it. Roshan was the best, he was always so nice to us. The other staff was also friendly. -Room was very clean and it was nice to chat with the cleaner as well. -Adult’s pool was so nice, we liked that area is ”quiet zone”

- People reserve sun loungers more than 30min. Someone should take those towels away because it is not possible to get sun lounger if you go to the pool area later than 11am. -Staff could be more professional in the restaurant. For example if you take dessert it would be nice that someone would ask if we want coffee or tea. -hotel needs renovation

I really loved this place especially the dining experiences and the staff (shoutout to Yoan at reception). Everyone was so friendly and really went out of their way to make your stay feel special. There is so much activities that this place offers for free such as snorkelling, kayaking, pedal boat, glass boat trips, and WAY MORE that I feel the hotel could better advertise. These are things like free lessons on sail boats. And oh my gosh, the sunsets here are the best I’ve seen on the island. Also also, the live music and entertainment they have in the evening is superb.

However, I do think this place is a little on the expensive side

It was a beautiful stay, starting from the view when you enter. All of the staff members were exceptional, always ready to help, having a kind demeanor. I would say the staff made the stay even better. Our room was cleaned twice a day and housekeeping staff were always available. Food options were great especially the beach grill which we highly recommend for lunch

The mosquitos, they were there in the spa bathroom for example, luckily the room was nice and clean so no issue there. They were also present during meal times.

I love everything about Westin! The Resort is exceptional. A 5-star resort indeed! The service is phenomenal, next to none! I loved the way they planned a surprise for my wife's birthday. The spa was indeed heavenly as its name implied. The food options were amazing! I didn't have difficulty finding options to grub even for a picky eater like me. We had complimentary cakes, and activities like boat pedalling and snorkelling. This was our first time swimming and the trainer was amazing! I was going to book more nights at the resort but had other plans. If you are looking for a 5-star treatment or vacation or honeymoon, The Westin has you covered like skin! We also had a 3-course meal Private Dinner by the ocean! That was out of this world!!! I will recommend the Westin any day, any time!

I didn't like the fact that they didn't share so much information about activities with us when we arrived. We found out about the boat house activities quite late. Also, we didn't know we could just order meals and they were cheaper that the usual buffet. For us, we don't eat a lot so spending $100 on a meal we hardly had beyond the starters was quite expensive and didn't make sense.

It is quite unusual to visit a place which is much more than just a very good place with good service. I do not have enough words to describe my satisfaction and gratitude to all the great people working in Westin Turtle Bay. They are not just kind and helpful - they are friendly above any expectations! Quality of the hotel - rooms, diversity of cusine, perfection in taste, views and the overall feeling of this place. We've been to many places around the world, but this hotel and it's stuff was far beyond what we've experienced so far. I can't mention by name all the great people who put a lot of effort in our time there, but I have to mention about Ms. Madelyn, Ms. Venisha and Ms. Partisha - thank you among all the others. Our sincere thanks and warmest regards! Keep it this way!

If there is anything I could complain about, which was really a minor issue during our stay yet is common to all hotels around the world, is sunbed booking by guests. The hotel has quite clear policy about it and is forbidding such, however when it happens no one actually takes action and some sunbeds were occupied through half of the day by towels and single bottles of sunscreens but without owners of these belongings. This occupation usually starts in the morning so if personnel could collect the unattended items every 30 minutes in morning hours I am quite confident, that within a day or two people would learn how to behave. I am referring only to the "whispers" pool where spent time daily.
