Ocean Beauty Boutique Hotel - A Fantastic Stay by the Ocean I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ocean Beauty Boutique Hotel, and it was truly a memorable experience. The rooms are well-maintained, with daily cleaning by the incredibly friendly staff. The air conditioning was a welcome relief, and the beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable – perfect for a restful night. I particularly appreciated the extra-long beds, which added a touch of luxury. The security is top-notch, with 24/7 surveillance that provides peace of mind. The security team is not only helpful but also incredibly friendly, which added to the overall positive vibe of the place. Now, about the breakfast – wow! It was a highlight of my stay. Served daily with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from, it was the perfect start to every day. One of the biggest perks of this hotel is its location. It's just a few meters away from the ocean, making it ideal for snorkeling enthusiasts. The area is perfect for exploring marine life, and the proximity to shops, restaurants, and tourist centers ensures there's plenty to do. The local tourism centers were particularly helpful in arranging taxis and day tours, adding to the convenience. A special mention goes to the owner, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They organized a snorkeling trip by boat, which turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Their personal touch truly sets this hotel apart. Overall, Ocean Beauty Boutique Hotel offers a blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing seaside getaway.

Needs a little TLC but with our stay they were busu with renovations.

We enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing enviroment. The view from the terrace and the more private beach just off the main perebyre were beautiful. Great area to snorkel in and the hotel took us one day out for a snorkelling session off a boat which was fun. Overall the breakfasts were very good and the staff friendly - a member of staff would give us coconuts to drink out of which were beautiful whilst he was cleaning the terrace and was very kind.

A little run down in places. Overall staff were great, but occasionally inconsisent with how helpful or accomadating they would be. It was unclear whether this was due to language barriers although I could speak a small amount of French which helped.

Private beach area, close to the supermarket and lots of restaurants. The hotel has no bar so you can just buy your own drinks and consume them where you like. Also we didn't opt-in for the breakfast because we prefer to eat our usual bran/ oats/ fruit. There is a supermarket very close by as well as lots of restaurants and street food/ fruit vendors. This hotel is on the 'good side' of Mauritius because it is out of prevailing winds and you can watch the sun set every day.

Our room faced the reception where there was often a security person sitting, facing towards the room. So when we wanted to sit on our 'patio' we would have somebody looking towards us always.

I had an excellent stay in Ocean Beauty, shared between moments of teleworking and vacation. The staff were attentive and really friendly, flexible and accommodating. We were very well received, simple check-in and check-out. Breakfast lived up to expectations. Both the room and the hotel were clean and faithful to the descriptions, value for money, which seems to me to be the main thing. Thank you again to everyone for these good times and we look forward to coming back.

Sometimes the wifi is low, but it's not a place specifically arranged to work remotly, so I don't blame it at all. Perfect for holidays :)

The location was excellent walking distance to restaurant's and supermarket. The host Jenifer was also excellent always there to answer questions and requests which she always delivered on! Its great to be able to walk a few paces onto a perfect beach

A refurb is taking place soon and that will improve the exterior and interior of the apartments.

Location and pool were exceptional. The on-site staff, Bhagwantee and Linda were really helpful and attentive. Bhagwantee decorated our (ageing) honeymoon suite with bird and flower decorations. We were visited by birds from the beautiful tree overhanging the double balcony. There is great snorkelling out the front, especially if you can swim about 300m out from the lovely little beach. A bonus is the local turtle. Paradise...

There was no management on site and our multiple initial problems had to be slowly resolved through phone calls with the ever helpful on-site staff. We never saw a receptionist despite being told we would as their priority was the sister hotel in Grand Baie. Consequently we had a lovely time as the place was empty!

Small, intimate well driven resort with focus on an individual experience. Very service minded personnel with a professional and calm approach. Nothing flashy about the facilities, but you have everything you need and the smaller things as enough towels, soaps, free coffee and tea, fridge, water and microwave is supplied. AC works, TV too, steady water flow in the shower and a very cozy breakfast arrangement. A perfect wind down place if you are not up for clubbing all night. Anti mass tourism feel to our wonderful stay! And we felt safe and well looked after.

They are very kind and pleasant, but understaffed as there is no reception.

The property is just off the main coastal road. It is in a quiet spot and directly on the edge of the bay. The gardens are very well kept. The pool is stunning. However, the reception area and several of the guest rooms really need an uplift.

The property is charming, but does need some work on appearance.

Location, location, location. If you want a quiet, peaceful setting with stunning views on the ocean, this is the place to go. If you like noise, nightclubs etc, then Pereybere might not be a good spot for you. So think what you want and if you're like me and you like waking up to birdsong, the ocean at your feet and a nice breakfast on your balcony or terrace, this is the place for you. I would recommend it to everyone.

Breakfast is great, eggs, bacon (if you want), bread, croissant, pain au chocolate, yoghurt, fruit it was all good. The only thing was that I had to wait for the bread to come which was inconvenient because I sometimes had to leave at 7:30. But I bought some bread at Winners, the supermarket almost next door and was good to go on the days I had to leave early. But this is something they might want to look at and change.
