We loved the rural location and very much appreciate the hotel's efforts to provide creature comforts while off the grid. The restaurant's food is delicious and healthful. While some folks have commented that the food is pricey, and it does add up, I'd urge you to consider the cost of trucking water, supplies, food, etc into this gorgeous location. If you surf, check for a big south swell and you've got dreamy point break waves at Nine Palms a short walk down the road. I recommend a higher clearance car, but a AWD is not necessary, just take it easy.

I personally didn't like the cycle of easy listening music played by the restaurant and pool, simply because I prefer quiet, but it was a chill vibe.

Location is very quiet, views are amazing. Went there during whale season and could watch them from the room.

Staff was helpful but not super transparent when organizing our boat tour. They could not accommodate the time we wanted and lied to us about why, pretending it was too hot, or it was windy, when it was absolutely not. That felt very strange.

This place is such a dream. Driving up the East Cape along the coastline, really made you feel like you were getting away from the bustle of Cabo and into a laid back, wilder and more rugged landscape. We were greeted by donkeys on our drive in, before arriving at this little oasis tucked up the hill. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. You could tell they genuinely love this place and are happy to share this with guest's. We stayed in the Sunrise Suite which had an unobstructed view in front of us to the ocean. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves and woke up to the sunrise streaming through the bedroom currents. Really couldn’t ask for a more relaxing getaway. Next time I’ll definetly come for longer and explore the area!

It was definitely. However the property is quite small so you do see the other guest‘s balcony’s depending on where you are in your own room.

Loved the Lodge, was such a peaceful, relaxing stay. The staff were great, as was the food we had there. The views of the Sea of Cortez were fantastic, and were treated to many whales putting on a show close to shore. This is a perfect getaway, even just for a few days to get away from the hustle and bustle of the resort towns. We will be back again!

Coming from San Jose del Cabo, there is a short stretch of road that is not paved to get to the Lodge. It was fine to drive with our car. I would just recommend taking it slow, and driving during daylight. The end destination is very much worth it!

Breakfast was great, unique food, but delicious. There is a lean towards wellness. Beautiful view, watching whales off the coast, while enjoying breakfast. Good coffee.

A map of how to walk down to the beach would be helpful! It wasn't as intuitive as we thought it would be, so we had to ask. But having a little hand-drawn map in the room or given on check in and list of things to take would be a special touch.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful place, far from everything, perfect to deconnect. Amazing views to the ocean. Perfect yoga deck to see the sunrise. Spotlessly clean, big rooms and comfortable beds. Fireplace in the room. The most beautiful beach is only a few steps walking from the hotel.

Staff is friendly but lacks training in service. Food could be a bit more local for the evening menu, or at least if they propose pasta and pizza, improve it. Tasted the worst pizza ever :( Although for lunch and snacks it was great.

Classy, well-run boutique with great ambience. Excellent food and the nicest staff. We were upgraded to a bungalow with a tiny plunge pool (very cold in Feb!) - private and comfortable. There is a pool up at the main lodge which is very inviting. Great whale watching from location on a bluff.

Thought it was right on the beach, but it is across the road up on a bluff (no road noise). The walk to the beach is quite long - and no instructions how to get there. You can drive down if you want. This is a relatively new project with some staff/management confusion. They couldn't tell us if water was filtered and safe to drink! After pavement ends it's about half an hour on a jarring dirt road. You don't need an SUV. (Think twice about driving North to Punta Arena - 2 1/2 hours on washboard road.)

The most impressive hotel i've ever stay. Design and ideology are absolutely beautiful. Breakfasts with whale watching as a bonus. Restaurant offer amazing dishes, but if you're a meat eater, you may feel a little unsatisfied with the choice, but still will found an deliсios option.

It would be nice to improve the markings of the path to the beach outside the hotel grounds.

Property is stunning! This area is pretty remote and such a peaceful, tranquil break from the business of San Jose or Cabo San Lucas. Staff is very kind and helpful, our room had a gorgeous view, and we loved walking down the beach-- we were the only people for miles. Restaurant on property is really good with a great variety and fair priced food & drinks. If you're interested in visiting the East Cape this is a great place to stay!!

Room rate was a bit high relative to SJC or CSL, but can't speak to how this compares to the prices in East Cape because we specifically wanted to stay here.

Perfect place for off the beaten path! Very lovely and all the food was delicious! Beautiful views and loved all the wildlife, especially the visit by the cattle!Might be best to have a 4 wheel drive to get there but well worth it.

Maybe offering spiritual ceremonies at check in and explaining all the things to do.
