Comfortable, average-sized room, well-lit. Modern design. Tiled shower. View of airport next to hotel Friendly and helpful staff, English spoken. The usual Holiday Inn Express breakfast choices. Well-maintained with tiled floors in the hallways and lobby area. Fast elevator. The key card opens the door but it also activates the lights when you insert it into a holder just inside the door. When you leave you then take the card which then turns off any lights. Energy-saving feature.

Not the hotels fault but: There are three Holiday Inns in the area. If you are using the taxi service at the counter inside the airport terminal be sure you clearly specify the nearest Holiday Inn with the address, otherwise when you prepay for the ride you may be over-charged.

The room was very nice. The first room I was given hadn’t been cleaned. They moved me to a new room which was nice. It didn’t have a tv remote, so I couldn’t watch tv Shuttle to the airport was very nice and efficient. The breakfast sandwich given to me as I went to the shuttle was a nice touch.

I didn’t like being given a dirty room.

Staff was so nice...I needed help with my wifi, and took a bottle of wine downstairs to open...The clerk fixed my iPad and opened my wine...Another clerk copied the TV guide for us...A few minutes later there was a knock at our door, and he brought us two beautiful wine glasses. We had to leave at 5:30am for the airport...The free shuttle driver brought us two lunches since we were going to miss breakfast...He was very nice...

Our coffee pot didn't have a caraffe, so we couldn't make it work...

I liked the service, especially the shuttle from the airport, but be careful which Holiday Inn you book in Silao. The difference is this one has “& Suites” added to the name, and they are a separate company from the other local Holiday Inn with almost an identical name. I liked my beautiful room, which was large, had excellent television with many choices, and a comfortable sitting chair with a lot of light. The bathroom was also excellent. I like the two soaps and shampoo.

The breakfast was mediocre at best. There is no toaster for sliced bread, the butter is actually not butter but margarine, which tastes awful, the scrambled eggs were cold in the chafer, the pork accompaniment was inedibly tough, and there is no liquid half and half for the coffee. Also no salsa or hot sauce. And unbelievably thin, watered down pinto beans. The Chilequiles were ok. The coffee was good and the ladies were happy to microwave it for me to make it warmer. Perhaps they could make eggs to order for people? Then they would definitely be hot. And thicker beans would be much better. Also, how about bacon instead of the bad pork?

The night manager, Pedro, was wonderful! He helped us with an issue with booking the wrong hotel after being left by the taxi at this hotel, like we insisted. This was the hotel we had thought we were booked at not the other Holiday Inn Express in Silao. Still not sure how that happened as we wanted the to be close to the airport. We were very impressed with the breakfast on both of our stays. It was very good and a lot of choices!! The room was very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet which we really appreciated. The staff was very helpful and their shuttle picked us up from the airport and let us check in right at 3:00.

We had an early flight from Leon and wanted a hotel with a shuttle that was close to the airport. There was a restaurant on site as well as snack options if needed.

They kindly made a sack lunch. Just keep in mind you have to drink the juice before security.

For the extremely low price, my aunt and I had a very quiet and comfortable stay. Our room faced the road and we were never disturbed by any noise. The beds were very comfortable and each bed had 4 pillows each, which I loved. I asked to inspect the room before signing/agreeing to the stay and I was obliged immediately. The room was very clean, great water pressure, ample towels, and all lights/outlets were in working order. We arrived around 8 P.M. to our room and were hungry, so a short walk across the parking lot took us to the nearby Italian restaurant. Though I wouldn't categorize it as "authentic Italian", the Panini (more like a "Sub" sandwich) was large enough to split between two adults and was made with a really yummy and nicely toasted bread. Skip the French fries there and opt for the Steak fries instead that are included with the Paninis. Because I speak Spanish, I can't say whether the hotel staff speaks English or not. I will say that the in-room TV had several English language channels for both children and adults in addition to Spanish-language channels. The FREE breakfast was very good. No, it did not offer a huge variety of dishes, but it was more than enough to start the day in great fashion. Fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, cold cereals, Chilaquiles, Pinto beans, scrambled eggs, and a local pork and potatoes dish. Coffee, teas, and from concentrate juices. Everything was self-service style with an attentive employee constantly cleaning and disinfecting all areas of the breakfast tables/areas. We had a sincerely wonderful stay and would definitely return!!

The rooms were super clean and they have everything I needed. The staff was super nice and the driver when we got there took us to get food and to drop off our rental car to the airport. It’s so convenient because it’s super close to the airport. I definitely will come back here and I totally recommend it.

It was convenient, it had snacks and beer in the lobby, endless hot water and a decent breakfast

I can’t complain about anything except the standard must put key in slot to turn on lights. I’m so afraid I’ll forget the key when I leave

The room was large, quiet, and everything felt new and super clean. Good shower, towels, etc. We were only there a few hours and left before breakfast, so I can't comment on that. Very close to BJX airport and is on the correct side of the highway for departure.
