The absolute best value for money in Guadalajara, I always stay here, and recommend friends to stay and everyone loves it. Old, quirky building in the best location in the historical district. On a pleasant, quiet square away from the bustle but only a 10 minute walk to tons of sights. Lovely rooftop pool, housekeeping staff who go above and beyond, and shout out to the wonderful nighttime lobby worker who personally got me a cab and helped me with my bags at 2am. Five stars.

Everything is great... There is no coffee in the room but a nice coffee/ice cream shop right next door so not an issue... Give this place a try :)

The internet connection/wifi connection is horrible. Do not expect to have a stable connection to work while you travel or to answer email. Do not expect your WhatsApp to work either while connected to hotel wifi.

This hotel is a great value, in a great location, and one of the few places in central GDL with a pool. The pool is on the rooftop, with views over the square. The roof is a great place to enjoy a beer (from the 7/11 next door if you like) with a view of the city. Rooms were kept spotlessly clean and have individual air conditioning units. Would recommend this to others.

The wifi in the room was unreliable and often slow. No view from the room. The photos show double doors that look like they might lead to a balcony, but for many rooms they only lead to the hallway.

First room was not what I paid for. Asked to be moved and was told that I had to pay 70.00 dollars more When asked to speak to manager. They finally gave in and gave me the room I paid for. The manager that handled the room was very nice But the male desk clerk wanted me to pay more I feel because I was American. But problem solved and the rest of the stay was great.

great in almost every way. super location, really clean, comfortable and spacious. nice rooftop terrace and pool for relaxation and views. free underground secure parking. reasonably priced breakfast in the dining room. honest people. quiet.

Every common area is heavily scented with a very strong deodorizer that made us sneeze and choke. even our room had been spritzed or sprayed or wiped down with some chemical fragrance. the dining room is a bit arctic with doors open to the street.

Beautiful hotel! Great location. A bit loud, church bells in the am... But, that is part of its charm... And the charm of Guadalajara! The lobby is lovely and they even had someone play the piano one night which added to the charm. Rooms were clean and comfortable! Would stay again ... A bit cheaper than the other hotels on the area that seem to be the same. Would stay again. Parking was available and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Very nice colonial hotel located in the center! Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, and the water was hot. Can't ask for more, given the price. They allowed me an early check in around 10am as soon as a room was cleaned from the night prior. The water in the pool was a bit chilly so we didn't swim, but the pool provided a nice rooftop area to hang out during the day.

Nice room for the price, great staff that were friendly and helpful. Excellent location for taking in the historic district on foot.

Our air conditioning stopped working two times while we were there. Staff fixed it when we told them but it was inconvenient because it happened after we were tucked in for the evening.
