Have been going there for over a couple of years and have found that the staff is great in taking care of any issues that have arisen such as the hot water heater going out. The cabanas are nice and love the fireplace.

Probably will not go back there again because of the bar that plays music extremely loud all night long on the adjacent street to the north. Sunday night they played from sunset until when I left Monday morning at 9:00 A.M. Monteverde itself is great plus all the family oriented things to do. Sad.

Been there half a dozen times in the past year. It’s a beautiful area and at times quiet with only the birds and wind in the pines to hear. Landscaping is nice.

On two different stays the hot water heater went out. The office is quick to respond and have someone relight the pilot light on the gas water heater. The most recent stay was worse because the small copper lines for the flame were restricted by the lines being bent. Luckily they offered me a different cabaña. The staff is very accommodating and is much appreciated by me.

The location, the atmosphere and the facilities were 10 of 10

We had to walk and we're not aware of the roads, there were no uber or taxis available for tourists. Also there's no service or any transportation available to the town. Schedules should be posted and offer at time of arrival, we tried to book activities and we're told starts at 10:00Am but never explained there was only 1 activity per day. Or the actiual.time of activities

The areas and cabaigns were amazing! 🤩 really comfy, they give you a load of wood everyday, really clean and comfortable

Awaiting time for checking, after a long trip you want to go in and test and staff took over one hour and half to let us in! (Check in time is already late compared to the usual ones)

The view is gorgeous; the location is quaint--in one of Mexico's Magic Towns (Pueblo Mágico).

The beds and bedding could be much better. The beds were hard, the blankets were insufficient and small. The on-site firewood was very expensive. Just across the street at a small store it was 75% cheaper.

Absolutely beautiful location, loved waking up to the outdoors atmosphere, huge property with beautiful cabins and lots do on the property itself, it's it's on adventure.

Checkout was awfully, took nearly 15 minutes and not because there was a line or anything, but because they wanted housekeeping I guess to check the rooms. Just put deposit on credit card instead of making guests use cash and avoid the long wait to check out. I had to keep asking what the hold up was because we had to go and she said they had to check each room, which I understand. But again, then let the guests use a cc for the deposit and avoid this hassle

We usually stay in Monteverde, it has wonderful views, it's safe for the kids to play around and also there's enough distance btw each cabin to feel privacy. Staff is always nice and helpful

I loved the town and the location of the hotel - the grounds were amazing

the phone in the room did not work the keys to our room did not work the staff was very slow at the FD the firewood was not set up properly and we had to call for someone to do it right

It's a perfect place to hide from heat especially in April-May or from noise of a city

Very high humidity and there are no heating options for clothes
