We chose for our family holiday in Montenegro to stay at Hotel Bono for 10 days. The location is perfect, just 7 minutes and you are on the beach and sea. Next to the hotel, there is a supermarket, bus stop, small bakery and a shop with fruit. The hotel is new-built, modern, and cosy. We got a double room with an additional bed, and surprisingly it was extremely spacious and had enough space for all of us (my mom, my younger brother and me). The room was equipped with all the necessary stuff, air conditioner, TV, hair dryer, fresh towels, small fridge, safe, kettle with cups and glasses. There was also enough wardrobe storage to keep your stuff. The cleaning was done every day, and the cleaning ladies were extremely friendly. The breakfast was amazing and delicious, there was a variety of choices for everyone, even for children. Every day there were different types of eggs, pancakes, pasta, cheeses and ham, fruits, sweet and salt pastries, filter coffee and tea. We also want to thank all the team of the hotel. Miss Jovana at the reception, the manager and owner, Igor, 2 cleaning ladies and the staff at the restaurant were absolutely friendly, nice, understanding and helpful Jovana recommended a lot of interesting tourist places to visit from the perspective of a local person who lives here and always answered all our questions. She even helped us during our arrival with the luggage. The manager and owner, Igor, was always at the hotel and controlled if everything was fine. We should arrived at 1:30 pm, but our bus arrived earlier, at 7 am. Despite this, Jovana did her best to check in with us at 11:30 am, instead of 2 pm. Also, during our waiting at the reception before check-in, the owner offered us a free breakfast on our arrival date, which was extremely nice and unexpected. Before our departure, our child got seriously sick, and that is why we asked to extend our stay till the evening when our bus was departures.

First of all,as an airline staff,i stayed lots of hotels which has five star and i think Bono has this quality.When we were arrived the hotel , Igor( the best man in Montenegro:) ) welcome us with a friendly smile and upgraded our room.Room was clean,tidy and we havent faced any problem about room.They have alternative foods at the breakfast related to your religion and they were delicious.Special thanks to Vesna for breakfast. Hotel location was satisfied us. It lasts 15 minutes to the beach with walking.If you want to visit other cities,you have to rent a car.It easy way to go to anywhere instead of public transportation. They have parking lot for our car.We did not have any problem for parking our car. Thank you for your hospitality and always smiling attitude with a perfect room.See you on next vacation Bono :)

Some reviewers comment on the breakfast, but would like to note that it is great and very varied. Cleanliness is ensured by two cleaning ladies rather than one, which I have not seen before. Many thanks go to them. The reception staff were friendly and explained all local sightseeings and transport options. NB: Do not use taxi stand near the hotel. They will overcharge you. You’d rather take a bus to Budva on the Main Street. You can buy a ticket from the guy with a purse. Fantastic restaurant options can be found in Rafailovici; reach the seashore, turn left and walk around 1 km. You will see a number of fish restaurants on you way.

I am thrilled to write a review about Hotel Bono and I am 100% gladly doing it out of pleasure. This gem and the 'good feel' vibe you get once you are inside the hotel space actually is so much better than what is presented on their online platform. For detailed people like me and my partner, this place, especially the hosts' hospitality exceeded our expectations. Everyone of service there was extraordinary - positive, so caring and hardworking, making sure you feel comfortable with every move you make. From the moment you step your foot inside you feel an awe and realize that you have made the best choice to have a home away from home for a few days. The ambience within the hotel space is so cozy, unique, very clean and rarely seen and felt in other hotels in the region. Everything is super comfortable, minimal and the hotel has brand new furniture. I recommend this hotel especially to all the design and architecture lovers outthere. One extremely important thing is that the location of the hotel couldn't be any better for us, since it's very close to the main beach - close to Hotel Splendid and other fancy resorts. No need for your car during the day at the beach. At the hotel you can have your own private parking and choosing that option was the best choice for us whilst our stay. And last but not least: the breakfast they serve with so much love, is truly amazing and has a lot variety. The buffet is full of delicious dishes and special recipes, all too tasty. Truly, not even one thing. And I'm not biased :)

The room was very well decorated, clean and comfortable, with adequate storage space. Comfy beds and a good sized balcony where you can enjoy the weather and the view are also worth mentioning. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory. The hotel is very close to the public transportation and a taxi stop, a supermarket and a good hamburger restaurant. It is also close to Petrovac, Pryzno and Sveti Stefan, either by car or bus. The Old Town takes around 20 minutes by car, if the traffic is congested (as it mostly is). The staff were very warm, helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Ms. Jovana, and the kind gentleman (whose name we unfortunately forgot to ask) who helped us with car parking and our unexpected health issues. (One day when our son was suddenly ill, Ms. Jovana left vitamin biscuits at our door with great kindness! The other day, when we were all too ill to walk out, the gentleman brought food for our son, which was of great importance and meaning for us at that context.) Kindness and sincerity really makes a lot of difference.

The street that leads to the hotel is very narrow and crowded with cars and pedestrians, so it gets tiring to drive through at times.

Excellent hotel, very clean, and modern, beautiful furniture, great size of room, comfy bed, stunning view. The owners are awesome, so friendly and always available to help or just ask how are you. Staff as well, very kind people. Great location, everything is very near (beach, bakery, supermarket, fresh fruit and vegetables shop, fast food shops, restaurant). The breakfast is very tasty and there is each day a various choice. We would definitly come back.

The room was very big and clean, also with a good modern design. Master bed was king size and very comfortable. The view was great from the balcony, allowing you to see both the sea and the mountains. The sofa was transformed in a very large bed for our child. The room had also a small office desk and a kitchen. TV was new, in good size and with various cable channels. Bathroom was clean and the staff changed the used towels daily, without asking. A/C was working and automatically closes when you open the balcony door. Breakfast was abundant, with plenty of meat, cheese, eggs and bakery products. Coffee was also very good. The staff is very hospitable and tries all the best to make your stay as good as possible (for example they even offered to cook pancakes for breakfast for our daughter). They provided free parking for our stay, right next to the hotel. Wi-Fi is working fine. Hotel has a modern elevator.

It wasn’t anything to complain about

The staff were so good and friendly. I'm gluten free and and its not really catered for anywhere in Budva. But the staff knew I loved the fruit and brought me out a bowl of delicious watermelon. They even got me a gluten free chocolate bar. My husband who can eat anything said the breakfast was one of best hes ever had. Fresh pancakes and a variety of home made pastries. I love this hotel and would recommend it.

Nothing really

All hotel employees tryied to make our stay pleasant. Specialy the owner Novica and hotel manager Igor. Everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The elevator that leads to the rooms on the upper floors is spacious. Highly recommended to everyone!

No such things. I had my doubts that we might have a parking problem. However, this didn't happen at all. Even the hotel manager promised that if we are unable to park right next to the hotel, he will personally find it for us.

The property was a great location from the beach and local markets around the surrounding area. The rooms were sanitized, clean with the rite amount of space for 2 guests! The outdoor patio was also a plus for the rooms. Breakfast was included every morning from 8am - 10am. All around great experience I would highly recommend staying here. Igore the manager on duty has unmatched hospitality! He made sure he did his best and made us feel very comfortable. He also gave us a detailed explanation of all amenities in the room as wells as explaining what he was for breakfast. He met all of our expectations of what a quality manager is. Igore thank you for making our stay very memorable! We will not forget about it! Highly recommend!
