We had the pleasure of staying at Kalamper Hotel & Spa in Dobrota, Montenegro, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The staff was exceptionally attentive, going above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Their professionalism and warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our visit. The hotel’s conditions were outstanding—modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed to provide the utmost comfort. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The breathtaking sea views from the balcony added a special touch to the entire experience. The spa was the perfect place to unwind after exploring the picturesque surroundings. I highly recommend Kalamper Hotel & Spa to anyone visiting Montenegro and look forward to returning in the future!

Overall the stay was excellent. The rooms were great, the view from balcony and from the room was amazing, sunbeds were included for hotel guests, the swimming pool in the spa including kids pool was fantastic. There was a play area for kids which was great for us as we have a young one. The breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. The beach was just outside the hotel, so one of the best hotels in terms of beach access. The staff was polite and helpful always. I would highly recommend the hotel (despite a few minor negatives listed below for transparency)

The balcony was often not very clean due to pigeons messing all the time and staff had to be asked a few times to get it cleaned. On most days, locals (not hotel guests) would come early morning and occupy all the hotel sunbeds in the frontline. This is not desirable if you are a hotel guest. The AC could not be set to desired temperature and the room became very hot in the late evening and night Apart from these issues, the hotel is excellent.

The SPA was all functional and wonderful. Normal bedroom, and very comfortable. The breakfast was diverse in food items.

We stayed at Studio with the sea view, and it has the most beautifull view you will see. The room is so comfy with the little kichen that has everything you need. The apartment has such a nice and big terrace. Perfect for summer vacation, because in front of the hotel you have a beach, and the price includes the use of sunbeds, umbrellas and provides beach towells. Good location, with is a few markets around the hotel, restaurants, and the pharmacy next door. One more thing, the staff is so kind and very helpfull, what made our stay amazing. Alma from the reception and all the servers from restaurant doing their job great!

Ventilation in the bathroom needs fixing, too loud.

We stayed at the hotel for my wife's birthday. The hotel is simply amazing!!! This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Large and spacious rooms, huge bed, modern and comfortable bathroom, large balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel employees are kind and welcoming, always willing to help. The hotel has a spa, jacuzzi, sauna and salt room. The breakfast is excellent and even the restaurant in the hotel. We had an outstanding experience! Highly recommend staying at this hotel

The Studio Apartment (opposite building) with sea view was really worth it, great view, nice design. You can see super sunsets & the beach. (view blocker to other balcony would ne nice) Breakfast is good, but please avoid the instant coffee from the machine, but order real coffee from the waitor. Roof top restaurant is a bit expensive for the quality, but the view is great.

The advertised pool on the roof top does not exist anymore, it was replaced by a restaurant. It´s misleading to keep the pictures of the roof top pool on the website and on the room TV The steam valve in the steam bath is not covered and in the 10 minutes I was in, I burned my foot and shortly after a kid. Please put a cover on it on the steam release, it´s really dangerous.

Stunning hotel location, beautiful sea and sunset views! The room was beautiful and matched the photos. The spa center is not very large, but is quite suitable for a short break.

The staff should pay more attention to the booking system. I wanted to surprise my wife and booked a spa treatment, but when we arrived at the spa our reservation was gone. In the end, she got into the session only because another guest refused. And this was a completely different spa program. But there is a small plus: the staff gave a discount on accommodation.

The complex itself is stunning, located on a corner of the main strip of beach in Veliki Pjesak. We checked in and were greeted by Armina who checked us in, she was SO polite and friendly, and then everytime she saw us after that, she made sure to greet us and check in on us. This, in comparison to most other staff (except for the blonde receptionist at the checkout) seemed a bit disinterested to engage with guests. Not impolite, but also not making an effort to greet, etc. Our room size was really spacious for a standard Hotel, that was a nice surprise. The balcony and the balcony view were IMMACULATE. Wow. Sunset is like no other. The breakfast was really tasty and quality food. We also had dinner at the Rooftop Bar, and had wine and pasta, it was amazing quality and service. Room service was fine, we were given new towels and our room cleaned consistently daily. The beach charis and umbrellas out the front of Kalamper along the beach are included in the price, which was SO HANDY. The staff at the beach bar were lovely, we had some coffee's and drinks daily. The sunset from that point was honestly one of the best sunset's I've ever seen, WAY better than the sunset Ruza Vjetrova claim to be the best. Thank you for having us, can't wait to come back!

The gym was SO bad, especially in comparison to everything else at the facility, it seemed out of place. If you plan to workout or train, just stick to swimming, walking or outdoor activities. The Kalamper gym is located in the basement, with barely any ventilation, old equipment and seemed dirty. I was desperate to train so I went, but if you're a gym buff, avoid it. HAHA.

The staff were very friendly. The facilities were very good and comfortable. They were very accommodating. The views were fantastic. The chef made some modifications to cater to our dietary needs. The spa was very relaxing and a lot of fun. Hannah at the kids play area was amazing with our daughter. She probably was the highlight of the trip for our daughter.

The description of the place was a bit off. Some of the photos of the place were not included in the stay (such as the outdoor pool and cabanas). They don't have a sandy private beach in the actual sense. They have a portion of waterfront for the hotel visitors, which gives access to the water. The waterfront is Stony. Some of the utilities didn't work during our stay and were not attended to during our stay.

Great location, nice and big apartment with spectacular view to the see. Breakfast was superb. The apartment was cleaned each day, towels replaced etc. Secured parking in private place.

In general smoking is allowed everywhere (terrace of the restaurant, beach). Power outage, almost every afternoon there was no electricity. But both are rather a country specific problem not of the hotel.
