Stunning pool and restaurant area, always sunbeds available, it's also really nice to relax there when lit up at night. Breakfast was good, tasty and varied buffet style with eggs ordered from the kitchen. Only ate dinner there once but it was really delicious and offered good value in a stunning setting.

The lodge is about 20km from the city which we loved as it was an escape. They have a free shuttle service (approx 20mins each way) at set times but you had to prebook this which could be limiting if already fully booked. Once you're aligned with the this system though, you just plan better and book ahead. So may not be suitable if you want to be right in the heart of things.

We stayed in this accommodation for 1 night, a beautifully maintained and arranged property with lots of green areas and a swimming pool. The pool and the area around the pool is very clean and tidy, and the staff is extremely friendly. Upon arrival we received all the necessary information about using the pool, WIFI data, information about breakfast, etc. We had a buffet breakfast in the accommodation, which is available from 08:00 to 10:30h. You are surrounded by nature and you don't have the feeling that you are near the city, but in fact you only need a 15-minute drive to the center by car.

Located in beautiful surroundings away from the hustle bustle of the city the apartment was spacious, clean and more than adequate for our needs. The staff from the receptionists, maintenance, restaurant staff, domestic workers were all very polite, courteous and extremely helpful. They catered for all our needs and I can’t thank them enough. The communal pool was clean and big enough to cater for everyone even in their busiest month. The breakfast was on point, fresh and absolutely delicious. The lodge provides a free regular shuttle to the medina/beach which is about 20mins away. If you book a taxi it is about 200d but the small taxis don’t come to the lodge which is slightly annoying. The lodge has a buffet system for lunch & dinner around 20E per head but I have very fussy eaters combined with sensory issues so we were stuck with eating in places at the medina. I would def recommend this place for its surroundings, facilities and wonderful staff.

The photos don’t do this hotel justice! The grounds are stunningly beautiful with gorgeous stonework and lovely flowers everywhere. Even a resident peacock! We were upgraded to a huge two bedroom ‘maison’ at check in which was fantastic with its own central courtyard. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped. The range of foods at breakfast and dinner was good and the tagines at dinner time were delicious. The restaurant staff were great! We didn’t get a chance to try the spa unfortunately but the pool was lovely, the perfect temperature. We really enjoyed our stay!

My only suggestion would be to invest in new, bigger pool towels. The ones currently available are a little old and tatty, and some are stained. They’re also too small for the sunbeds.

Loved the small house with courtyard and garden. Would stay again. Food was excellent. Staff helped sort appointments in Ess. Staff cleaned the house thoroughly each day.

Laundry dropped off early morning needs to be turned around same day to pack clean clothes ahead of departure next morning. Had reception, knowing my departure, indicated that laundry would not be started the day I dropped it off, causing me to travel with dirty laundry, I’d have asked for some soap so I could wash it in my room myself.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with a private pool and it was enormous - so much bigger than we expected. Really nicely decorated. Great to have our own pool as well as the use of the hotel pool. It was very serene around the main pool, very relaxing. Nice to have a cleaner each day too.

Breakfast was OK, also, it didn't start until 8 which is a bit late if you have small children who have already been up for 2 hours by then!

Loved my time here and I was sad to leave after five days. Room was a large mini villa with a kitchen, fridge, big shower, large cupboard space, nice bed, and huge terrace area. All the staff were very incredibly kind and friendly; a big thank you to the technician who help me start my car battery and gave me tools to make some repairs on the car. Breakfast was high quality with a lot to eat. Pool area was very clean and tranquil - no loud music playing or disrupting people constantly checking on you or bothering you. A truly perfect place to relax for a couple of days.

It would have been nice if the property had a fitness centre. The shower in my room looked very modern and good quality but it was actually a little weak with low water pressure. I’m glad I had a car with me to drive to Essaouria because otherwise it’s a little isolated (but that was what I wanted).

Breakfast could be improved eggs whether scrambled or omelette were fairly tasteless also fruit selection could be better water in shower didn't drain away very well & we also had a problem with kettle Had to ask twice for the coffee & water to be replenished in our room when we would expect this to be done on a daily basis when the room was serviced The kettle was replaced but with another faulty one which like the original one posed a safety issue

This is a wonderful place to get away from it all and relax. The pool is great. The free shuttle into Essaouira is great. Lots of options for breakfast and the pool is fabulous.

The shuttle bus times did make it restrictive as you an either return at 7pm or 10.30pm in the evening. It would have been good to have a shuttle at 9ish so we could eat, but not stay too late with kids. The taxi service from the airport cost through the hotel is extortionate – much better to organise your own directly – it was less than 1/4 of the price they quoted!

Very comfortable accommodation, especially that we received an upgrade. The buildings and deco have authentic feel reflecting local style. Also the staff was very kind staff and made us feel like at home. Food was fresh and tasty, especially local dishes.

To achieve its full potential would be great if it could be refurbished in the near future. Hammam/spa experience could have been more refined.
