We liked everything about this place! Truly a hidden gem. Yes, it's a bit complicated to arrive to it but once you've figured out the alleys, you'll have no problem. We had the Lotus room, on the ground floor. A beautiful and spacious room with a big, comfy bed, authentic Moroccan decor and coloured glass windows. The bathroom was the highlight of our room. You have a deer and a lion shaped faucet, a unique design of the bathtub and white and blue tiles on the floor. The toilet has a smart cover and although the remote didn't work, I absolutely enjoyed the warm seat. Breakfast and tea time were two things we were looking forward to each day. Please take in consideration that most days it's going to be about 70-80% sweet. We asked for some cheese a few days to balance it out and one day we received it, the second day they said that they didn't have any. Upon arrival we were greeted with complimentary mint tea and one evening we were even invited into the kitchen to learn how to make it ourselves. I loved the hospitality! I saw that they also serve Tagine for lunch/dinner for 15 euros/person and they even have a cooking class for 30 euros. We didn't experience these two options, just an fyi. There is a terrace at the top floor with a bit of a view over Jemaa El Fnaa but the noise coming from it can be a bit tiring. All in all, we felt really nice here, all of the staff is sweet, kind, respectful and ready to help with anything you might need. Hospitality at its finest! Congratulations!

If you know that you're a fussy sleeper, ask for an upper floor room. The noise from the breakfast area, the constant water dropping in the fountains and the two big windows that you cannot cover with anything can have a negative impact on your sleep. I brought a sleeping mask and earplugs and it was ok.

Everything about Riad Persephone was exceptional. The main highlights include the top tier service provided by Anouar who is always attentive and arranging activities and suggestions for travelling in Morocco. All hours of the night he is available to meet the needs of guests. I also enjoyed the amazing cooking from Guizlane. Of all the restaurants in Marrakech I went to, I would keep finding myself coming back to the Riad for meals. Everyone in the Riad is accomodating, the rooms are accurate to the advertising and the location is perfect.

Our room on the top of the hotel with the terrace and jacuzzi was awesome!..we really enjoyed to stay in this hotel. Breakfast also was nice with kind and friendly ladies around. Thank you so much for the service. Great location just walking distance to the the local market, restaurants, bank, shops, and local park. great hotel, great breakfast. We will coming back again for sure. Thank you 🙏 we had such a great holiday in Marrakech 😘😍

While staying there, some renovated room had going on. So little bit dusty..luckily we staying on the top floor. So no problem for us. The indoor swimming pool at the ground floor is just too cold (especially when we was there in January). So we mostly spent our time at the jacuzzi instead.

The location was great, very close to the medina and the centre where there are lots of food and places to see, this meant that we didn’t have go very far and we could easily be picked up for our activities. The decoration was very authentic and you can see in the pictures below, and the facilities were amazing, there was a swimming pool near the entrance with places to sit and relax. The roof with the Jacuzzi and chairs and the view to the market was one of our favourites. The breakfast staff and the reception staff were super lovely and kind, made us feel extremely welcome. The bathroom was super nice we loved the gold and the water was super hot which we absolutely loved. The breakfast was DELISH, we were so full and there was a variety, we asked for some tea as well as the coffee and natural juice and 🤩 i really wish I could more pictures and videos

The only thing we would change is probably the placement of the window in our room and that the room has a slight lack of places to put your things away because of space, a mini wardrobe or something would be helpful but we didn’t get the bigger room so keep that in mind. It can be tricky to find but dont be afraid to ask!

I felt so welcomed by the wonderful staff. They are very helpful with advice and anything else you need. I loved my bedroom - big enough for one person, but lacking space and storage for two in my opinion. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The air conditioning worked well. Breakfast is from 8.30am. The dinners are delicious - you have to book it in the morning. I enjoyed the decor and plants. Book your arrival taxi through them because they meet you at the main road where the taxi has to stop and help carry your luggage through the pedestrian streets to the riad. Although Google maps work in the maze of souks which is amazing. Fantastic roof terrace with two sun loungers and lots of other seating. Good views and sounds of Jemma al Fina. The small plunge pool is clean and very refreshing (very very cold!). There is a hammam but I didn't use it. I bought a local sim, and withdrew money from at ATM. They are both near the riad, but maybe it would have been better to do both at the airport.

The jacuzzi isn't heated at all. I didn't enjoy using it. This isn't anything to do with the riad, but re arriving at the airport, there will be a VERY long line for passport control! I waited about 2 hours, and some people waited 3 or even 4. It's ok when you leave though.

The property looks absolutely wonderful and the location is perfect.

The property does not have parking, even it is listed as so, they should remove this facility. We had to park the car at 15 minutes by walking and we paid for it.

I had an exceptional stay at this Riad. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, especially Younes and Mounir Fadwa, who ensured a smooth check-in and checkout process. Amina was always attentive and made our stay even more enjoyable. A special thank you to the amazing Chef Ghezlanh for the incredible cooking class—it was a highlight of our trip! The Riad was spotlessly clean, and the location was perfect, right in the heart of the vibrant medina of Marrakesh. Additionally, the breakfasts were abundant and delicious. Highly recommended!

The Riad Persephone is kept beautifully clean and cheerful by the lovely ladies who also provide a breakfast and romantic tajine on the roof terrace so sweet! All staff were v helpful but Kadija particularly impressed, arranging an amazing trip to the Agafi desert. She also accompanied us to buy jewellery in the souk which was essential for getting a great price and the benefit of her exquisite taste!! All this after she finished work! We loved it and hope to return soon!!!

To be honest nothing we had a great time!

Loved our accommodation, it was so unassuming from the outside busy environment, and then you enter into a world of peace here. The accomodation was styled really nicely, clean, and in a perfect location. It also had a rooftop which you could access. Breakfast was also very nice and you could eat this on their lovely courtyard.

Everything was great. If there was just one thing, it would be to adjust the brightness in the bathroom, to have the option to have more light in there on the morning. I think also it had a geezer in the room, so just be conscious of you're showering after each other, to check there is enough hot water. But this is absolutely fine, and you'll manage.

I booked this riad by complete random strike of luck, was welcomed by Mounir who showed me around and introduced me to the owner whom personality and maticulosness reflects greatly on the entire lodge. As soon as you enter the Riad, you could feel its energy of authinticity and greatness in simplicity, and it feels like you want to spend all your time just sitting there. I’m not sure if it’s the design, the vibe, or the warmth of the staff, or perhaps a combination of all. The room variety and seating arrangement, and to top it off with a jacuzzi on the roof with a panoramic view on the entire city makes it just as tho you are in a movie scene.
