Our terrace room matched the pictures, offering a beautiful sea view. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was plentiful, and the service was friendly.

The stairs were very steep, making it challenging to carry a 28-inch suitcase upstairs. It would be helpful to assist guests in such situations. Communication was difficult, I had to rely on Google Translate. The Wi-Fi was intermittent, and the internet speed was slow.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dar Tinjaa. Our room was on the 3rd floor with great views over the Medina from our room as well as the upstairs terrace. The housekeeper brought us mint tea when we arrived and we enjoyed relaxing on the terrace while spping our tea. For breakfast she served us coffee, fresh-squeezed orange juice, a selection of breads, jam, hard-boiled eggs and yogurt with fruit. We didn't mind the climb to the upstairs rooms as it was worth the view and steep, narrow stairs are typical for many other places we stayed during our trip.

The pillows were too firm and too stuffed for me. The housekeeper spoke only Arabic and French, so communicating with her was a challenge but we managed with Google Translate.

This was a lovely Riad to stay in Tangier. Our stay was over Eid-El-Adha so most of the Medina was closed but our host was most gracious. Great views lovely room, very clean.

The first night we arrived, I hadn’t slept for over 28 hours due to our flight and other travel - when we asked about a restaurant we were first taken to a gentleman who was very friendly, but also very driven to sell us scarves. We then were wished away to a restaurant where we were told we could use credit but it turned out we couldn’t. From there we were soaked to another person selling rugs. I had to be firm to get th to release us so I could go get some sleep. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant atay.

The breakfast was tasty and filling, the room is HUGE and the facilities are nice and modern. The staff are friendly and the location is great. Strong WIFI, too.

The shower pressure is not strong and the water stopped a couple of times for us. Also, the stairs are steep and narrow, so watch out if you have a lot of luggage or struggle with going up and down stairs.

Amazing beautiful traditional house with beautiful furniture and colorful Moroccan details. Great bed, nice spacey extra room to chill and good air conditioning that was very handy in the hot summer. Cosy little bathroom with a good shower. We slept like babies, although we got woken up really early in the morning by the morning prayer, but that's part of the experience of staying in Tanger's Medina of course. It was a little search to find the place at first as the Medina is a bit of a maze, but locals were so friendly to help us find it. The breakfast was very nice: egg, olives, Moroccan pancake, marmelade, honey, pastry, bread, cream cheese, coffee, mint tea,.. - and best of all: a rooftop to chill or have breakfast on ( ask for a tray ) with a breathtaking 360 view of the Medina, the sea and Tanger. Very close to the Petit Socco with nice cafes or Cinema Rif (with a great cafe). Would stay here again!

Great location, you can find it easily. Nice rooftop and cute rooms. Meriem was amazing. She helped us finding a Taxi, suggested some nice spots to visit and the best way to get there, thank you so much for the service. The room was cute and comfy. The breakfast was great and the quantity more than ok with options of coffee tea and a very fresh orange juice.

There was only a curtain separating the bathroom to the bedroom so for my friends who were 3, it was not ideal but okish :D

The room was very nice as its design was lovely and it had an amazing terrace and spectacular views of the see and the old town. The room was very clean and the breakfast was good. After all the walking and the stairs it was worth it!

As it is in the old town, you cannot go in with a car and you need to walk uphill passing from very narrow streets for about 10 minutes. And the room was on the 4th floor with no elevator. So it would be very useful to know this in advance so we could prepare ourselves accordingly. The parking is also not free and they overcharged us just because we were tourists.

We were welcomed very warmly at Dar Tinjaa. Our room was very spacious and beautifully equipped. The staff was super friendly and kept our luggage for the day after check out. Don't miss out on the rooftop terrace and its stunning view over Tanger!

Really nicely decorated room, very comfortable and beautiful view from the terrace. The decor of this place is very nice. Breakfast was also very good and home made. Had the best shower of my entire trip here haha.

Many reviews said staff were very friendly and welcoming, but we found the complete opposite. Staff were very disinterested and unenthusiastic throughout the entire stay. I’d stay here again for the location and rooms, but certainly not because of the staff

The location is great and it has a fabulous view from the terrace. My beautiful room was on the rooftop - just below the highest room. The air conditioning works well and it was lovely to sit on the little terrace outside my room and have a takeaway meal. The place is run by a lovely family. If you can handle lots of steep stairs, I recommend it as a great place to stay in a safe area.

The bed was rock hard but so is pretty much every hotel mattress in Morocco. There are flights and flights of very steep stairs to climb if your room is on a higher floor. If you have bad knees, heart problems, or are unfit, I'd recommend asking for a low level room or looking elsewhere.
