The people, the food and the place is superb

The security guys are letting people who are not residents to come in to the premises through the beach gate. I even asked the security guy as to why he is doing it because these guys might steal our belongings and he lied by saying they are also employees. I also think they let people in to sleep in unoccupied rooms.

The property has a nice pool and breathtaking view.

The reception staff is absolutely slow and do not answer phonecalls AT ALL. We called at all the provided numbers for assistance. We would have to walk to the reception for assistance in which would also take over 3 hours to be taken care of . The restaurant stuff at Sand Bar is also extremely slow . The breakfast included in the price is below average for the amount you pay to stay here and you get ONE juice box with your breakfast for each person , super frustrating . The room we stayed in had a very foul smell and the linen is not clean.

Exceptionally bad service at Sandbar Restaurant. More than enough staff, they just need proper systems in place. At times they closed the restaurant just to service the 50% of customers there. Waited up to 2 hours for food. It's really a lovely restaurant and great staff, but there's no leadership or trained staff

Staff were very friendly. They organized a birthday cake for my girlfriend. The manager Armando was excellent, always attending to our needs at the restaurant

It not easy to get to especially for someone who has never been to Mozambique before

The property is beautiful, well taken care of and perfectly located.

Food in the restaurant is expensive, bought at the market down the road cheap and tastes amazing 🤩

The Hotel does not provide any support about transport options from and to the airport. The drive is 3h and you can’t book any driver online, so you are literally lost. It is essential, that the Hotel assists you in finding a safe transport or, for a foreigner, it is impossible to reach Bilene. We were lucky to meet somebody on the plane otherwise we had stuck frightened on the airport. Txs!

The location is incredible. It's a very beautiful and peaceful beach.

The breakfast is not exactly like it's described. First, the fruits served for breakfast are can fruit which doesn't make any sense as you have local people selling fresh, local and seasonal fruit. So they could be supporting local economy instead of importing can fruit! Also, we didn't get buffet everyday, they said that the buffet is only served when the hotel is busy enough. So in quiet days we could only choose from the menu and we couldn't even refill our coffee. So we are paying for a breakfast that we don't get.

The beds were on the hard side, not comfortable. Hawkers selling their merchandise Corrupt police officers every 10 or so kilometers on the road demanding cash was a huge letdown

Location, views, the property manager came a few times to check up on us. The fact that the windows/sliding door had a net for mosquitoes. The pool was always clean. Wifi connection was always good. Ample activities on the property to keep you busy.

The sand bar was quite disappointing for me. We had the exact same breakfast everyday! Not much variety. Each person gets 1 juice box for breakfast. I honestly think the resturant can improve on a number of things. Including checking up on customers, especially when dining during lunch/dinner. And if you don't like cats you might have a problem, there were a few roaming around too.
