Breakfast was wonderful and included, you had a few diff options and if you were out early for the day surfing, scuba diving whatever it maybe, you could send in your breakfast order in the night before and your breakfast container would be ready and waiting for you before you left for your adventures. The pool was amazing and the lounging around the pool, you could order a fresh healthy coconut or a cheeky R&R and drink it pool side all day as well as pool bar where you could have a refreshing cocktail in the water and listen to the funky tunes. The rooms are amazing I absolutely loved the outdoor bathroom, it really made me feel like I was on a tropical island. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Top class holiday spot and they also have a camping site on the grounds if you’re not into staying in a lodging. I highly recommend :)

Amazing place. It was low season, so there were not too many people staying. I was fine with that. I was there for diving. It is a 20min walk to town, but it's not as bad as many say. And I walked on my own during the day and night and felt safe. In fact, the people there are helpful. The food was good. Thanks to the staff there. Good hospitality. 👍🏼

Make sure you take plenty of cash. Most places have pay wave, but the machine doesn't always work. ATM doesn't always have cash. Calculate 500mnz per meal. Beers 120mnz As a rough estimate.

All the folks who work at Mozambeat are so kind, helpful and fun. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The cabin was comfortable, the hammock a bonus and the outdoor shower under the stars made me smile big. I love how you can refill your drinking water at the bar so that you are not wasting numerous single use plastic bottles. Music selection is awesome and all the little thoughtful details such as mosquito repellent lotion, shampoo, spare bamboo toothbrush etc make this place stand out. What a gem!

Legendary staff members We made good friends and will surely come back to this place Great vibe, we came in the off session, so we had plenty of time to get to know the staff and the guests, which we loved. For your information - the longest lasting parties in tofo are at this venue on fridays. (Generally, in tofo there is a party every other day, and it moves between different venues) If you would go for drinks/parties at night anyways it's very nice when the party comes to your place ( It should be considered if you plan to get up on saturday early morning)

Note that the walk to tofo beach / the market is 20-25 minutes It wasn't too bad for us, but sometimes, in the hot hours it might be a bit lengthy

Mozambeat is a little oasis. The staff are very warm, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was top notch every day and the “chill” areas were great to just unwind and read a book in. A little mini fridge in the room would’ve been the cherry on top.

Nothing really, just something to note the road up the hill is unpaved so be mindful especially if walking at night. Be sure to take your torch with you.

Amazing hostel! I truly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and chill at the pool any time of the day. The personnel was always very kind and attentive, kitchen offered a lot of yummy options. A little walk to the beaches but generally super pleasant to stay at. Friday's party was nice and I liked that both guests and locals joined!

Great place to stay. The « suite » was really confortable, a must after the long time to come over. The place is located about 20 minutes walking to the beach. According to other people, it’s also a tremendous place to party

We had some difficulties to be discuss with the chief of staff - he wanted us to pay for some extra breakfast. But after a small talk everything was fine

The food and daily breakfast was very tasty. The staff was very friendly and warm hearted people. Over all a beautiful place. Would definitely go back. Had a great time with my kids

The coffee can be improved. The roads are also not in the best shape. Nothing to complain about.

Lovely hostel. Really great value for money. The interior is really pretty and there’s a lot of great space to get work done if you’re a nomad. Also best matapa i had in mozambique! Staff is also very kind!
